Can I give ten stars? Jen is the best in the lash biz!!Started coming to her about five yrs ago and followed her to four different locations...to finally landing this awesome Taraval location almost two yrs ago! I'm pretty sure a ton of people try out lashes with Groupon specials to pay less, but instead get their lashes completely messed up...and then seek out technicians like Jen to fix it! Instead of going that route 5 yrs ago, I did my research and started going to Lash Tec from the start. Bc I work in the beauty industry, and am way too lazy to get up and do my makeup every day for work, I decided to start getting my lashes done consistently. Lashes and throw on some lipstick on-the-go My lashes always last up to a solid 4 weeks before I have to go in for my next session. Jen has always said if my lashes start falling off prematurely to let her know bc it may have been caused by a bad set of glue, but I haven't had that experience yet. She's definitely a lot easier to schedule when you become a regular, so know that you'll need to be more flexible with your schedule if you're coming in for a first session (takes about two hrs). 5 STARS ALL AROUND read more

I originally scheduled a 2 hour appointment for a Touch Up with Jennifer. I got my lashes done somewhere else and just after 2 weeks it was all clumpy and very uncomfortable. My real lashes were starting to fall off too. Jennifer took a look at it and right away decided that she will need to completely take it off and then do a full-set on me. This will obviously take more work and time than what she anticipated, but she did not mind at all. During the whole 2.5 hours process she was very meticulous, careful and took her time to ensure the outcome was "perfect". You can tell that she genuinely cared for her clients. And her prices are very reasonable. Lash extensions are not cheap and when you get a technician that does not know what they are doing, it really SUCKS. I'm just thankful and HAPPY that I found Jennifer. I will not go to anyone else anymore. Plus her location is super convenient for me with tons of residential parking for free. read more

Let me start off with, I'm just like every other girl who did their research for lash extensions. I had a wedding to attend to last June in Temecula, CA, and the bride's makeup artist who was suppose to do mine said she doesn't have enough time to possibly do 8 girls. So here I was, running around like a mad chicken looking for someone to hire to do my makeup around the area and everything else in between. The day before I had to fly out to San Diego, I called about 6-10 beauty salon and majority of them were either book, closed or WAYYY TOO OVER PRICED. I looked up on Yelp and Jen's shop pop up, to my surprised when she answered, she willingly took me in 2 hours later from when I had spoken to her. Now let me tell you this, I called her around 5:40ish and her shop closes at 7pm. (She's a real sweetheart) She told me that she's pregnant and I felt so guilty because it was getting pretty darn late. She took her breaks to munch and whatnot because of morning sickness, but I honestly did not mind since she's the one who was doing me a HUGE favor and taking me in on LAST MINUTE NOTICE. We finished around 9:30pm, and I tipped her generiously, and thanked her for her amazing customer service. Its mid July now and I still have my lashes on, it still looks great and I can't wait to drop in this week to get my fill-ins. read more

A girlfriend of mine has been a client of Jen for awhile now. I always see how fabulous her lashes looked. I am so envy but at the same time is also scared of all these horrible stories I've read and heard. After seeing my girlfriend's lashes over and over. I finally gained enough courage to try em out. I am very pleased and so happy with the outcome. At first I was really nervous and almost got the cold feet. I mean hallur we are talking about my real eyelashes here. I just did not want to end up looking like a hairless mole rat when this is all over. Anyhow, Jen made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. You lay in this spa like bed with a nice warm duvet and a pillow to rest your leg. She answered any questions or concerns that I have which gave me a total peace of mind that my eyes and lashes are in good hands. The appointment took about almost 2 1/2 hrs. She also went over the after care and even gave me a little brush to take home for my new flirty winkers. We pretty much chit chatted the entire time that by the time I know it....I have these amazing lashes that looks glamorous and yet natural. The initial placement itself can be a bit pricy but it's worthwhile. Also, I just found out you can get $20 off if you check in(Yelp). The maintenance part is when it becomes comparable. I am def sticking with Jen for years to come. My place of work requires me seeing over hundreds of people a week. Not only I get non-stop compliments but it also cuts down the amount of time it usually takes me to look glammed up. Now with these babies, I don't even need much. got a touch up at two weeks even though the lashes were holding up really well. just cuz it was cheaper... but i did ask her to fill in the inner corners a bit since it seems sparse. I have been going to Jenny for about a year now and this review is long overdue. I've gone to a few places to get my lashes done, and nothing compares to Jenny's work. She is very meticulous and knows how to deliver exactly the look you are trying to achieve. As for me, I love thicker dramatic lashes and I cannot express enough how she is able to execute what I want! As I've previously said, she is very meticulous (be prepared to lay and relax for 1.5 hours, or you can talk to her for a nice therapy session) and super sterile. I've never had any adverse reactions from getting my eyelashes done from her! Once the session is over, she makes sure to go over each lash to ensure that nothing is irritating to your eyes, and she always sends u home with a mascara brush to help maintain the amazing lashes. You will not be disappointed going to Jenny! She just recently moved her business to the Sunset and it's cute and clean. Unfortunately, you do have to pay for parking, and as a side note, any place in the city is hard to find parking. But I love her work so it's totally worth it to me ! I am absolutely thrilled with my lashes, the office, and the entire experience. Cute little place (A whole room to myself), very clean (I can't stress how important this is), parking was easy (I parked right in front of the building. Lash Tec is on the second floor). Jen really took her time to blend in the extension with my short and thin eyelashes. Unlike some other places I've seen where they did extensions pretty much in the same length, She filled mine out with all different length to create a dramatic cateyes look and yet remain natural looking. It's been almost a week since I got my lash extension. I wear contact, go to the gym, and hit the steam room here and there. My eyelashes are still looking FAB. I even find myself wearing less makeup (is that possible?) these days and still look like I tried somehow ;) So for all of you who are debating whether or not to get eyelash extensions, I say go for it, and get them done by Jen. As if Jen needs another 5-star review.. but she IS someone worth writing about. I wanted lashes, and made the mistake trying a "groupon" type special somewhere else. After 2 TERRIBLE experiences (lashes falling out within 24 hours, AND horrible clumping.) Not to mention, they were SO LONG, I couldn't wear my glasses or sunglasses without adjusting them further down my nose because my lashes were just too long.. I am a bridesmaid in a wedding.. and figured; Ok.. I'll just let these fall out, and find someone good (Jen)-- When I contacted her and explained my situation, she helped me realize I should actually have HER remove the "bad lashes" as they would (in the end) wind up costing me more of my actual lashes.. So I went in for a removal (she definitely agreed that I had been given less than stellar lashes, and the glue was balled up in clumps on my lashes (one of my eyelids was actually drooping, because the false lashes were so heavy and poorly done.) THANK GOODNESS I found Jen.. she has removed the bad lashes, and I will be getting a full new set on Monday (I'll add any additional info at that time!) but I have no concerns.. She KNOWS WHAT SHE'S TALKING about. Some have remarked on the pricing. Let me say this: you get what you pay for.. and when it comes to lash extensions.. don't go cheap. read more

Thanks to Jennifer, I feel like a Disney princess everyday! I have been getting 3D lashes from her for months now and am very happy with the results. I get refills every 3-5 weeks, frequently most of the lashes are intact by week 4. Tip: Sleeping on your back and getting the lashes wet sparingly will make them last longer. My natural lashes are flat and I used to spend a long time curling them and putting mascara on. My morning routine is cut by 20 minutes. The lashes look very full and natural enough to pass as real ones. I no longer wear mascara and wear less make-up in general. Jennifer rents out her own space, so there is no hectic bustle of a salon. She is based in the outer sunset, so parking is never a problem. The process takes anywhere from 1 1/2-2 for me hours depending on the fill. You will lay on your back on a comfy massage-style table with all the blankets you need. I fall asleep almost every time. Jennifer is warm, kind, and makes you feel instantly at ease. She not only listens attentively to the look you are desiring, but to anything you tell her! Today I got a classic set of lashes and they turned out amazing! I wanted something that wouldn't be too dramatic, too much for my face, and natural enough to wear to work. Jen suggested a classic cat eye! It turned out perfect. At first I was going to get the hybrid but she suggested we try the classic set then upgrade to the hybrid set next time if I wanted a more dramatic look. I appreciated that she was flexible and willing to work with me, since I originally had booked to get the hybrid set of lashes. She allowed me to change to the classic set at the very last minute! I also got the 3D lashes here about a year ago for my wedding. Lash Tec did a great job! I got so many compliments and they lasted a long time. This is the best place I've been to for lash lash extensions and I would highly recommend them to anyone. I've been to a total of 4 different places and my lashes from Lash Tec were the best quality, lasted the longest, and looked the nicest. I also got great service. This Saturday is one of my friend's wedding and I wanted to look my best. I never was able to get the hang of applying fake lashes so I thought about getting lash extensions. Since it was my first time getting extensions, I was a bit nervous of how it would turned out just because I've seen some lashes that look thick and fake and that's what I didnt want. Jen is a real pro. She is confident in her ability to really customize the lashes for your face. I went to her with a set that had been put on two days prior that I really did not like. She spent about an hour and 15 touching up and reshaping lashes by taking a few off and adding in strategic places. They look gorgeous now. A perfect shape and very proportional to my eyes and face.
