I love coming to Lash M and have been doing so for more than half a year now. The vibe is cute and quaint. Relaxing music along with a clean atmosphere. I originally came here as a spot to try out for birthday lashes. The location was near my house and reviews seemed promising. Making an initial appt was very easy - I love a place that uses texting as an option. Scheduling future appts is easy too. You can schedule after your session or text anytime. I'll admit I was overwhelmed the first time I went because there are a lot of options on length and style of lashes. They also asked about what "number" length lashes I got in the past, and I didn't know since my past technicians were not as detailed. The staff were helpful in the consultation to understand my style and length. I wear glasses the majority of the time, and they knew what length I should do because of that. I trusted their opinion and was right in doing so. Over time, I've adjusted my lashes to my liking and have my go-to person (shout out to Kristy!). I love that they provide a lot of cute things to help you take care of your lashes. They also have a stamp card for repeated customers. I had my first appointment with May yesterday at her new location and I loved it! I was due for a 3-week fill, and unfortunately my last technician had not done a great job so I had lost a lot of my extensions. This was not a problem for May at all. As always, she was very efficient and the quality of her work is excellent. I've been getting my lashes done for years and May is the only one who can do a 3-week fill in an hour or less. The quality of her work is also fantastic, and even with normal shedding (and my subpar lash cleansing), I feel like my lash extensions last for much longer than when done by other technicians. It's also a huge plus that May is super friendly and sweet! I would definitely recommend May for new clients looking to try out extensions for the first time, or those with current extensions looking for a new technician. Do not trust the five stars reviews they were probably done by bots. lashes here are not done properly. The lash artist apply multiple lashes at the time instead of isolating them one by one. For a new set the lash artist took one hour to get it done. It was the first red flag. I mention this to the lash artist and the front desk but they said it is normal to be done between 75-90 minutes. For the price I paid I expected better quality. Also, I texted the salon to let them know that lashes were applied in clusters and they mention it was normal for the wispy set but I have had wispy lashes I applied before and they were done one by one. They said they apply lashes under their policy but this is not disclose in their web site policy. Also, I was clear with them that I was not arguing. I paid for a service and I was advocating for myself since It was not done correctly. read more

Amazing work and incredible attention to detail! I've gotten lash extensions for years and no place can compare to their services! They are always willing to change the style to however you prefer. I did lash extensions for my wedding and they were perfect! Glam but still natural and without having to worry about a lash strip falling off. Just got a lash lift for the first time and I'm really impressed with the results. I have monolids so I always have to curl my lashes with heat in order to get them to stay curled throughout the day--but not anymore!!! They hold up the weight of my eyelids and look so natural!!! This location is really cute and aesthetically pleasing but the front desk employee is extremely quiet & unclear in direction and not upfront about cost. I have now been price gouged TWICE on 3 week refills and am done with this salon. When I was trying to show photos and explain what I wanted different for a 3 week refill, the tech was getting very frustrated with me and my questions(obviously I know nothing about shape and length). She eventually just told me to lay down and then when finished it was not what I wanted but more of what she suggested. I went to pay for my 3 week refill and was told since I asked for longer lashes this time, I had to pay for a whole new set??!!! I definitely wasn't expecting to drop $140 that day...This should have never been told to me at the end of a session after not even letting me explain my goals. read more

I'll start off with saying how seamless the process was to contact them & schedule an appt through text. It made things super easy & they responded very timely. Upon arriving, the staff at the front was very lovely & guided me towards picking the right set based off my preferences. It was my first time so things like explaining different styles, lengths, and curls helped ease my nerves a lot. I wish I had gotten my tech's name, but the first time around she did great. Unfortunately after 2 days my left side lashes were already starting to fall off a lot more than I'd expect for it being so new. I was being very gentle w them and wasn't sleeping on my sides so I contacted them to see what they could do. They explained some falling is normal but if it persists in that matter over the next couple days to let them know, that way we could schedule a review of the lashes. Soooo it had been awhile since I had gotten lash extensions, and had previously been going to a spot in Mountain View. I was about to embark on a 3 week trip so I thought WHY NOT. I found Lash M on Instagram and I was appreciative of their clear pricing and service offerings. They were incredibly responsive and able to get me in a day before my trip! It's super easy to find, just off of Geary and the 38. I was welcomed by the front desk and she sat down with me to ask me what my preferences in overall look, length, curl, volume. TBH I had no idea...and guessed (hot take - wispy and doll eyes is NOT for me). I mentioned this to them afterward the appointment and they were so kind and wrote down all of my notes and suggestions for next time. Flash forward to my next appointment, they remembered what needed to be adjusted and we shifted things around. I'm grateful for their thoughtfulness and intentionality to bring their best. My lash extensions looked nice in the first week, but once my natural lashes started falling out I saw how poorly they were done. Nearly all of the extensions were glued onto clumps of at least 3 or 4 of my natural lashes. Obviously this is problematic and causes damage to the natural lashes. Causes weight and drag on the natural lash as well as pulling from uneven growth. The bulk of the lashes in the middle were glued together. multiple natural lashes that have visibly fallen out but can not be removed because they are glued together in mash of other lashes. Very bummed. Pretty for a week but now my lashes are completely wrecked. read more
