I had a really great experience here. I came out to Ft Walton for a month and had previously had a fill at another spa. Those eyelashes were falling out so quickly so I called skin and nail boutique to see if I could have a fill there instead. She did such an amazing job. She was able to fit me in, unfortunately the previous lashes were so bad she had do redo my entire lash but she was so kind about it and really helped me out. I've been here three times and I gotten the infused belly body wrap. Sometimes the hardest part of my job is getting my midsection inline with everything else so that I may past my physical fitness test. As you get older, it gets harder and harder for some of us at times. This is where Mrs Cobb and her team of professionals come in. They can help you lose that troubling inch or 2. Let's face it, what you did at age 20 to maintain, you have to do three times the work at age 35 and you might only get about half of your desired results. If you are at that point where your just "right on that edge", you been running, doing everything you can do, but just can't get your midsection to lose that last lousy half a inch to a inch that you need, call up the folks at Skin & Boutiques. They can help! The cost for the belly wrap is 65.00 at the time that this article was written. Some might seem it to be high, most might seem it to be fair. I personally think 65.00 is a great investment for what I want to achieve. I could get the same thing at a higher-end spa, but probably be pay at least twice as much. For some it could be benefit of looking great in that holiday dress or important event for your spouse or significant other. The shop do offer a Check-in 10% discount immediately when you walk in the store using the yelp app. They also have deals on Groupon from time to time as well. The atmosphere is nice, clean and orderly! What I mean is, your not walking into high end Destin/Sandestin spa, where your already out of pocket 400.00 just for walking in the door. This place is professional and will put you at ease. My belly wraps are usually about 30 minutes long, and after the lights goes down and the ambient music starts playing softly in the background, I drift off like a baby until I'm awaken and my time is up. The customer service is is notch. Alisha Cobb is a a true professional, if you go ask for her! She makes you fell welcomed, easy to talk you, and makes the experience that more enjoyable. They do have a website, I do like it, it's very user friendly to navigate but I would say that sometimes it may show a open appointment available but will give you a "this appt is not available for booking" sign. No fret, I usually call the shop directly and they have so far, been able to work me into their schedule. They are very accommodating and willing to work with you to meet your needs. They are located on Page Bacon Road, across the street from the Santa Rosa Mall in Fort Walton Beach. Plenty of free parking in the shopping center of their location. Surrounding area is a safe place to be, so no concerns when it comes to parking or security. Overall, I will tell anyone who is looking to have a spa treatment done, whether it's to help you get your mid section in control for that big event, or just want to look and feel you best, I would say give Skin & Nail boutique a try! I had a shellac french tip manicure done here. I'm disappointed, not with the service, but with the quality of the manicure. Shellac is supposed to last several weeks, and usually the only reason I have it redone is because my nails grow too long. But this time, within five days, my nails had all chipped or broken. I went in twice for Brazilians and will honestly never go back. They use hard wax which is awful. It causes breakage and not all the hair comes off unlike sugar waxing which I've found to be 1million times better. The place was sanitary and the staff was nice but it was truly the most painful Brazilian I've ever had. I almost walked out with wax on me because it was that bad. I go to a new place now down the street and it's amazing ! So proceed with caution if you're coming in for waxing. read more

I have been getting Brazilians for many years and I never had an experience like I did at your salon. It was uncomfortable, cluttered, and messy. I never had anyone not do my entire bikini area. You left me hairy and extremely sticky. I will never go back to your establishment again. I Am not interested in anything you sell because I will not return. I have no idea how you get so many great reviews because this is not how waxing should be done. Went for a Brazilian. I was in a time pinch and they got the job done quickly. I was, admittedly, overdue since my last wax. I would have appreciated pre-ep oil (keeps the wax from pulling skin when it's ripped off). The esthetician also didn't hold skin tight when she was pulling or finish with baby powder. Alisha was fantastic! I had never had a Brazilian before, and she was friendly, informative and comforting while being as quick as possible. She uses a hot wax that only bonds to the hair, no cloth strips. The wax never burned me and I was done in about 15 minutes, I was surprised! The place is small and in the back corner of a plaza; I would have never noticed this cute little shop had it not been for her Groupon. She also does Scentsy and sells a few other products, and they do massages and nails as well. Amazing place. Everyone is so friendly. And the work well art they do is amazing. I will always come here. The 45 minute to an hour drive and way way worth it. I just had my eyebrows shaped by Alisha and I'm very happy with the result. The price was awesome too! She used hard wax instead of strip wax which is much better for sensitive skin. It pulls only the hairs rather than the skin like regular wax which results in less skin irritation and swelling and is much less painful.
