I know how to take care of lash extensions. I wash them daily with foam cleanser I would buy from my lash extensions place, use lash coating & I always bring a small brush wand with me every where I go to brush them all the time. Because of the covid and with places reopening, I couldn't get a hold of my usual lash place so I decided to book an appt at Lure Lash in Somerville since they had open availability sooner. I was excited. I checked out their ig and read some good reviews. I was ready to go. My appt was for 3:35pm and I finished around 6pm... I was really surprised, but I didn't complain because I didn't have anything to do later that day. But what DID surprise me was that I had 2-3 lashes that fell out that same day... then it would be 3-5 lashes the next day.. and then the next. It would happen every day. My appt was a week ago and now that it's almost going to be a full 2 weeks since I've gotten them done, you can tell that if you see them, my right eye is a lot fuller than my left. I've never had this experience.. I was disappointed. I've been to 3 different lash places, with different technicians, and I never would've had a problem this bad before :( I was disappointed, I'm sorry. The lashes started falling out that night. By Wednesday, there were barely any lashes left. I took photos and sent them. The woman I spoke to on the phone was incredibly rude when I let her know how bad the lashes were. Ashley refused to make it right and tried to blame me. She even threatened me with police action if I tried to dispute it with the credit card, which is an interesting business practice. She sent me a series of harassing texts and blew up my phone with calls. The length this woman would go to not do the right thing for a new client over $300 is astonishing. So unprofessional and very poor quality work. She responds with lies about how she offered to fix her disaster, but that's not true. I have the threatening texts and the repeated calls as receipts. It was sent to the credit card company. Only an unhinged person calls the police to intimidate a client posts negative feedback on bad service. That's not how a normal business operate. Go somewhere reputable. That's certainly not here.

I had gotten my eyebrows microbladed ~4-5 years ago elsewhere, and while I was happy with what I had gotten at the time, after seeing Din, I appreciate how much more care she takes in what she does, and the level of customer service she provides. Getting permanent makeup done, especially your brows, is a BIG procedure, and actually, a bit of an emotional one! And thankfully, Din is there every step of the way. I started the process by booking my consultation with her, which we did via Zoom due to COVID. Although I was fairly familiar with the process, she still took the time to explain everything so I was prepared for the procedure, and to allow me to tell her what I personally wanted. From there, we booked my first session! I got a combo brow, and Din took into account the shape of my face and what I told her I liked. The procedure itself was not bad at all; Din numbed me (and continued to do so throughout the procedure). While it is a very similar feeling to getting a tattoo, Din has such a light hand and made sure I was OK throughout the entire procedure so I never felt any pain - moreso I felt the vibrations from the machine and the eventual soreness that comes with getting a tattoo procedure (if you've sat for a tattoo, you know this feeling). (Also, as we got this done during COVID, I must say - Din's office is *spotless* and she took every precaution to ensure that we were safe, and of course, that everything was sanitized for the procedure itself.) Afterwards, she walked me through what I needed to do through the healing process and what to expect - the itchiness, the peeling and how dark and light it would be at different stages (she also provides a cute info sheet!). You can see how my healing went in one of the pictures attached. What's great is that Din also includes a touch-up with the fee you pay, which is amazing and really speaks to how much Din cares about the final result. All in all, Din gave me back my confidence, and saved me a lot of time trying to fill my brows every day!
