I usually don't leave negative reviews, but I feel like I have to warn others. My sister went to BrowBar and the experience was beyond disappointing. Instead of enhancing her natural brows, they completely botched them imagine two bricks slapped on her face. That's how bad it was. The shape was unnatural, the thickness was way off, and it looked like no effort was made to match her face or original brow shape. She left the salon embarrassed and upset -- which no one should feel after paying for a beauty service. Definitely would not recommend.we'll be going elsewhere for a proper correction. read more

Worst threading job I've ever had. If I had never gotten my eyebrows threaded before I wouldn't know how bad this was. She was very fast and very painful. The shape is awful. On the website it says they measure and determine the correct shape for your brows. None of that was done My brows are a mess. I'll never go back there. read more

DO NOT go here if you care about your eyebrows!!!! Today I went after growing out my eyebrows for 3 months- she left me not 1 but 2 bald spots!!! I love this place! My mom just moved to New Jersey and my sister and I were visiting so we were in need of a threading place. I was skeptical about going here in the first place but we desperately needed our eyebrows done. I'm usually really picky on who does my eyebrows but the lady (not sure how to say her name) that did all three of us was really good! We all loved how they came out and are definitely going back. I always get my eyebrow and upper lip threading done from this kiosk at bridgewater mall . clean and the staff is very efficient quick.

Found this place in the Bridgewater Commons Mall in NJ over the weekend. It was also my first time having my eyebrows threaded and I was a little bit nervous, to say the least. I walked in and was able to make an appointment so I didn't have to wait too long. The place was clean and busy and they did a great job on my threading and makeup. I've been going to this place for a year or so and the best thing I can say about them is that they're extremely inconsistent. I've had my eyebrows done here and they came out good, but yesterday I was completely butchered. My eyebrows look so bad, I'm having a hard time even looking at myself in the mirror. I normally have fairy thick brows with a nice arch, now I have eyebrows half the size that are almost totally rounded. I don't know what this woman was thinking. So if you want to take a chance with the most important feature on your face, go ahead and use Shapes Brow Bar. Everyone, steer clear. read more

I've gotten my eyebrows done here a few times by different ladies. My brows are on thick side and they usually do a good job of not taking too much off. Sometimes I'm given more of an arch, and other times it is more round, so they could be more consistent. Customer service could definitely use improvement. I always get a pretty cold greeting and a forced "thank you" at the end. read more

I love this place! I've been going here for years. I started going to their stand at first and now they have a store in the mall. The sisters that work here are great! If I feel like they missed a spot or need to do more, I always tell them and they fix it right away. I don't trust anyone else with my eyebrows. read more

Not the cheapest eyebrow threading ($10) but if you're in a pinch they are great. I usually go to the younger sisters that do eyebrows as they do them the best. I like the convenience and the fact that since they are in the mall they close at 9pm. Located across from Express. read more

They do an ok job. Gets the job done. But the ladies are not friendly in the slightest. I had barely sat down before she started. You have to know what skin to hold yourself because she gives no direction. Didn't even wipe up the hairs on my face afterwards. Was hard parting with my 20% tip. Annoying cos it's the only place nearby that does threading. But if you're ever near the city Id say go to a place there instead. It's always a couple bucks cheaper and you'll actually be given the service with a smile. read more

They do a good job, can't complain. Some of the girls are unhappy or seem it but after becoming a regular, one girl is starting to make friendly chat with me. It's basically the only place I know of that does eyebrow threading in NJ. Sometimes there's a wait and no chairs to sit which sucks. I just went there and the lady had an attitude and was in a rush. She broke the thread due to pulling so hard and literally ripped my skin! I had a strip of blood and all she could say was, "This never happened before" and continued. She didn't offer an apology until I expressed my dissatisfaction. She was so inconsiderate and walked me over to the register and charged me the full amount, mind you I am not at all happy with how my eyebrows turned out. They look like I did them! I have been coming here for about 6months. I have never walked away with such frustration as I did this past Saturday... Ishita did my eyebrows. I specifically said do not touch the middle of them. She proceeded to take half of my eyebrow off.. I looked at them afterwards and pointed out where she took way too much off. She completely disregarded what I was saying and insisted I came to her with my eyebrows like that. She had no compassion and did not even offer a % off of the service. Ishita is very unprofessional. I have been threading my eyebrows for all my life now and I have never experienced anyone using a thick thread as theirs for threading. It pains a lot and I was left with a lot of scars. Never going back to this place again not worth the price either. I might as well go to the city and get it done. read more

Last Saturday I was scheduled for a 2:30 appointment to have lashes applied. I had to wait almost 30 minutes for someone to make themselves available (so much for the appointment). When applying the lashes to the top lid, a protective tape was placed on the lashes below so glue is prevented from leaking down to this area. The process took well over 1 and 1/2 hours not including the wait time so 2 hours total. When I called for the appointment I was told it would take 1 hour. You would think that the finished product would be perfect with this much time but that was far from the truth. The lashes were uneven, they were applied in different directions, and the glue obvious, not to mention that when the tape from lashes below was removed it ripped out some of my natural lashes so now I have missing lashes there! When it was time to leave & pay I questioned her about the glue being so noticeable and she kind of just said, "Oh, that's OK" and rushed me along since there was along line for the threading. It has been one week and many of the lashes have fallen off so there are gaps and spaces between the natural lashes one length and the added longer ones. I was told the lashes would last 4-5 weeks. Maybe having gone a Saturday when there were many having the brow threading caused her to not focus of the application but I would NEVER go back there or recommend this service to anyone. For the $100 plus the $20 tip I spent I feel they did a very inferior job. read more

Don't go here! I'm new to the area and was looking for a threading place to go to. I found them located in the mall on the top floor in front of lord and Taylor. I had to wait in line with three people ahead of me. All I needed was just a clean. After waiting 20 minutes, I specifically told the girl what I wanted. I asked to just clean up my eyebrows only. The girl was very rough and rushed through the whole process. She was too busy concerned with other customers and making more $$$. I had to tell her to slow down don't worry "you will still have customers after me". As she ignored my comment, she continued to rush. I had to ask her to cut the top of my eyebrow because my hair grows lots in that area. She did a rush job. I had to specify where exactly I wanted her to cut. After they seem not even decent, I asked for aloe gel so I don't break out because my skin is very sensitive. She persistent and ignored me and said "cream". I don't use cream on my eyebrows. That does not prevent breakouts and/or redness. After all of that, just for a clean she charged me $10. What a nightmare for an experience. I will never go back there again nor will I go back on a Saturday because the parking is a nightmare for Saturday. I will never go back on a Saturday due to her rushing to take the next customer. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!I did not leave as a happy customer. I had to go somewhere else to finish the job!!! I recommend go somewhere else where your $ is appreciate and not taken for granted as well as the person not being in a rush and not paying attention!!!! DO NOT TAKE YOYR CHANCE HERE!!!! read more
