The salon itself is GORGEOUS! It's an open area with shampooing on one side and stations on the other. They also sell hair care products and other items. At my initial cut Megan inquired about what my needs were. I am pretty basic, so really just needed a trim. I keep long straight type hair. She asked about layers and if I wanted face framing or bangs and we worked out the details. I loved that Megan asked these questions to make sure I get just what I want! She is gently with brushing and cutting while being very efficient. At the end of my cut she asked if I would want my hair styled and she was able to give me some waves. It was fantastic! I have thin fine hair and was so impressed that the style held all day! WOW! Her attention to detail and professionalism is something that I rarely encounter and I'm so grateful that she cane into my life as a makeup artist. I needed my makeup done for an event, and I was given Jen's number by a friend. She first did an over the phone consultation about a week prior to my appointment. She asked me about my skin, what I was wearing, where I was going, etc. Then the day before, she text me to confirm my appointment! COMMUNICATION When Jen arrived, she was about 10 min early to set up. She proceeded to sanitize all products in front of me, to ensure that I saw & knew everything was clean. Her brushes were also IMPECCABLE! Super extra clean and smelled good when she applied my makeup. PROFESSIONALISM AND ON-TIME During my appointment, Jen was SO easy to talk to. She's actually hilarious! And her timing on my actual makeup was less than 45 min! She is SUPER fast! I used to hate going to get my makeup done at the makeup counters. They would always step away to help customers and I would be there over an hour. PERSONALITY & TIMING RESULTS: I have dry/oily skin & whatever Jen used on me, made me look and feel like J.Lo all day! My skin was glowing, the staying power lasted until 2am (my appointment was at noon), she did exactly what I wanted... actually, even better because she suggested we change a few things to better compliment my eyes & skin and I'm SO glad I listened to her. She also did my mom & grandma's makeup for the event and it was beautiful! I was so impressed that she was able to do all ages & skin types! She is truly a naturally talented & gifted artist. She did an amazing job at really listening to what look i was trying to accomplish and even recommended looks that would be most flattering for my facial features. The quality of her makeup and makeup brushes was outstanding. She is very clean and organized. Even when using loose glitter, which is normally very time consuming and messy, she knocked it out like a pro! The end result was so even more beautiful than i imagined. She was able to fulfill my request of a fun night-out makeup look; without it being too much. My makeup lasted all night, even with my oily skin that tends to melt off makeup. We started with the mani. After cleaning up the nails they do a nice scrub and hot towel wrap. Then they massage the forearm while the towel is still on. After that they do lotion and massage your hand. Thankfully Elizabeth had me use the hand dryer before doing the pedicure. Laura didn't have my Mom use the dryer and hers ended up "wrinkling" alittle after getting in the car. The pedicure was nice. They clean your nails. Then they clean up the bottom of your feet. You also get to enjoy a scrub rub and hot towel treatment very nice. Overall will go back to this place again when some pampering is needed.
