Anat is the best!!! I was looking for someone with fair prices within my neighborhood (japantown/fillmore). She responded within a day after I found her contact information on Yelp, and texted to figure out the details. Anat's office is really clean, air conditioned, and vibrantly decorated. And smells like essential oils. She has a lot of work experience as a lash technician and I love chatting with her. Two days after my first visit, I found out that I have a tendency to violently rub my eyes in my sleep. I woke up with most of the lashes fallen off of one eye. I texted Anat and went back in less than a day later to get it fixed right up. She explained that sometimes there can be trial and error in the beginning - so she used a stronger glue, I got a sleeping eye mask, and they lasted until my fill 3/4 weeks later! read more

I love my lashes super long and curly, and Anat is able to do just that while keeping my natural lashes undamaged and healthy. She takes her time during the lash process, making sure each and every lash is on perfectly. I usually get my lashes touched up every 3 weeks, but at the 3 week mark they still look really good. I was really lucky to be born with full, gorgeous lashes (one of the perks of being Persian). However, I have noticed that they have really thinned out over the past few years. I decided to try getting lashes to get them looking like they did when I was younger, but was a bit nervous they might not be what I wanted. I am so happy I decided to do this with Anat! She is patient, generous, and gifted at making them look just the way you want them. It was my first time and I was not sure how they would look. Anat took her time making them look good, and after showing me what they looked like in the mirror, I liked them, but she could tell that it was not 100% what I had in mind. I could tell she really wanted me to love my lashes, and she was generous enough to continue trying until I absolutely loved the results. One of the many things I appreciate about her is that she wants it look how *you* want them to look, not how she thinks they should look. She gave me tips on how to maintain them so that they could last a long time (another example of her generous, ethical approach to business). That is something I truly appreciate and is a must when hiring people for anything. **Skills + Amazing good energy = a keeper.** Once you get used to not having to wear mascara, there is no going back. Being an asian female, I've always dreamed of full and beautiful lashes. I've purchased and tried every mascara under the sun with none of them having any real effect on me. I've also always thought that eyelash extensions were not for me due to my lifestyle; working out 5 days a week, sweating way to much, with the fear of them falling out. Once I started getting extensions, I was hooked! I had initially gotten extensions when I was on vacation in Asia, but little did I know that you have to be extremely selective with who does the extensions for you.
