I've also had handmade volumes done by a master stylist. Both were a really pretty boost to my natural lashes, the stylist were friendly and let me know what they were going to do and when. Just an update on yuki lashes. I came recently on 6/11/2026 and my lash bases were all glued together and uncomfortable and I had to take tweezers to pull them apart because they were so stuck together and she took a very long time, zero air conditioning, and overall very overpriced at $175 for a one week foreign fill. I have spoken to Yuki and she said ."your happiness is more important to me than anything else. If you are not happy, I completely understand, and I would be happy to refund you." Now I've checked in three times if she needed card info to return, when would the refund be issued, and if she thought it would be around Thursday the 18th because that's five business days which is the general time for a refund. I got zero response as to find a solution to get my money and time back for an awful experience. Would not recommend and I am highly disappointed. read more

Came here once to get my lashes lifted. The salon itself is very small and cute and there are two small private rooms, one for lash extensions and one for lash lifts. The experience itself was fine and my lashes looked nice afterwards, but when I went to get lash extensions a few months later my lash lady told me that my natural lashes were not in good shape, really bent unnaturally due to the lash lift I got previously, resulting in a lot of them breaking off. Thankfully my lashes are doing okay now after a lot of lash serum, but I would not recommend getting a lash lift here. read more

I've come to Yuki Lashes 3 times now for hybrid full sets and touchups. It's incredibly helpful to be able to book appointments online. The lashes are pricey but I've been really happy with the results each time, and they last me about 3-5 weeks. The inside of the salon is clean with 2 rooms. The main room has 2 chairs, and the back room has 1 chair. All the chairs are super comfy and it's easy to fall asleep when getting your lashes done. I recommend Yuki Lashes if you're looking to splurge on high quality lash extensions that are basically custom to what you want. I also love that Yuki takes notes on what I get each time, so I don't have to remember exactly what curl and length I got the previous time. I came to Yuki Lashes for my first eyelash extension appointment ever. It's a cute and clean salon that is on a quiet street in Marina/Russian hill (easy to find parking within the few blocks). Lucy has been my go to eyelash gal since my second appointment here and on. I've been going to her for probably about 6 months now and she never ceases to amaze me. I do the absolute minimum to take care of my hybrid lashes and they are still long and full after 3-4 weeks. Checkout the before and after picture for proof! I can't speak highly enough of Lucy, she's sweet and attentive. This was my first time ever having permed lashes, and I actually didn't realize the process I chose was to also dye them. I was terrified- I cant lie. I informed everyone how scared I was and how sensitive my skin is and I was met with immediate calming conversation acknowledging my concern but letting me know that I had nothing to fear. (Can we please stop for a moment to note the fact that it was acknowledged? I think that's huge. So many times people run over your concerns as if we should know as customers that theres nothing to worry about, which for me just turns into more fear. I was very grateful for her approach!) The procedure was about 45 minutes to an hour long (not sure, my eyes were closed LOL). I was super comfortable and relaxed the entire time. We had a little chit chat but not much- which for me, after a long day at work, was so nice! She let me relax and told me to just nap while she very delicately improved my assets. She was so soft and gentile, the perm fluids had only a slight scent (don't worry, 1988 is not going to come rushing back to you) so you are aware whats happening but its certainly not overbearing. A few times I felt a bit of a sting in my eyelids, and she quickly adjusted and I was back to comfort. The discomfort was really just fear of the unknown, to be honest! I went in so scared Id lose my eyelashes or end up with blurred vision that even the slightest tingle drove me crazy. (Im embarrassed in hindsight because of how wonderful the experience ended up being). After about 45 minutes of relaxing it was time to take off the tap- I was scared this would pull out my fragile lashes! Of course, it did not. They looked AMAZING. So natural, even better than mascara (I have fair skin and blonde lashes so mascara is needed but its always a bit extreme in front of my pale skin for daytime) I left so happy, and thought I would not need mascara until I went on vacation and tried some on and it was phenomenal! I had no idea it would look even BETTER! An incredibly important note though: My eyelashes (everyones) fall out. Mine fall out very often, every 30 days. So I went in KNOWING this. So 2 weeks later when they started to fall I was not mad. I knew to accept it. I can say that at first I was sad- but it really took a LOT of lashes falling out before it looked odd. The first set of extensions that Yuki had put on (the length-12), I thought was a bit too long and dramatic for me, and heavy too, and sort of shielded my vision. But then Yuki changed them to the length-10, thinner, and with less curl and now I love my lashes! They look so natural yet beautiful/enhanced. They are lightweight and I don't feel like I have anything on. No vision obstruction. A little bit of stinging during the application. From time to time now, my eyes feel irritated, like there's something in them but I can't see anything in my eyes. I'm not sure if this is from the lash extensions or not, but this didn't happen to me before. Yuki is terrific at her work - she's careful, meticulous, very fast without sacrificing quality work. She is highly skilled at lash extensions. She's also patient and takes the time to explain the procedure to you and answer any questions you may have. Her shop is also very nice, calming, clean, and cute. However, she doesn't give out any lash brushes or cleaning sticks, so that's not so good. I thought the Yelp deal price of $175 for a full set of lashes is pretty pricey, especially for a "deal" (this would be my only complaint). Her touch ups are $60 for 2 weeks and $90 for 4 weeks. But I guess you get what you pay for; I've gone to a cheaper place and the work/results isn't as nearly as good as Yuki's and they're not as fast and efficient as Yuki. read more

Updated 3/26 4 weeks since my initial appointment and I still have a bump on my eyelid and blurry eye from the pressure. However, I appreciate when a business tries to rectify a service gone wrong. For that, I have updated the review. I hope anyone else has better luck! Sorely disappointed. I went in initially looking for a lash lift with Yuki. I wrote back and forth with Tiffany over yelp in regards to my monolids and straight lashes in order to get a good picture of what the procedure could accomplish. I was pretty clear on what I was working with and after the advice we agreed on a lash lift. I get there on appointment day and after a brief look, I'm told it won't do anything for me. When I ask what could be done then? Should I cancel? I get a... "but you already booked an appointment" abrasive response and I'm sitting there uncomfortable. After some more back and forth with Yuki, I'm told I should get extensions instead and I agree half trusting "the expert" and half wanting to get this entire exchange over with. Though it'll cost me more out of my grad school student budget. For some reason, I'm pawned off to Tiffany, though my appointment was with Yuki. After an hour to hour and half I'm finished and I'm pleasantly surprised because they don't look half bad. Unfortunately my excitement after about a week was tempered. And I mean, I was really excited. I left thinking they look pretty good, now I don't have to spend extra time in the morning and after a few weeks I'd want to go back and continue to get fills. Only a week passed and my lash extensions were already dropping like flies. And I get the whole life cycle of eyelashes blurb. I've gotten extensions before and they always fell out weeks later with a natural lash attached. I don't know if she attached it to my actual eyelid line because 90% of the eyelashes that were falling off had a thin base of glue and no natural lash. Even then I thought, that's okay I'll just ask her to be more thorough when I go back for a fill. But then it got worse. I've heard from many many people that you're not supposed to be feel them at all. But the glue at the base of my lashes would "catch" on the wand when I combed from the top (per instructions) because they were beginning to lift at the root of the extension and poke my lash line (making it VERY irritating and itchy). Some were glued at different distances up my lashes, leaving random floating extensions. Fast forward a few days (I'm exactly at my two week mark) and 80% of my lashes are gone and I have a painful swollen right eyelid that will now force me to be make up free (counterproductive to me wanting to be ready and looking professional everyday for work with minimal makeup) and wearing glasses as to not scare my clients. Not only was the procedure itself a waste of money but I have to deal with a doctor's visit and a painful lid. To be fair, I can't speak to Yuki's services. Maybe I would've had better luck with her, but unfortunately this is the quality she vouches for. read more

The appointment started off with a quick consultation to determine the length and style I wanted. She even showed me a sample lash to see if it matched my request. After a little 1.5 hour nap, I woke up with beautiful lashes. The results were so fluffy and comfortable, it feels like my real lashes except better! I have been to lash studios all over Marin County and San Francisco and this is hands down the best of the best. 3 weeks out of my lash fill, people are still commenting on my lashes. Every 2-3 weeks I make my drive into the city from Mill Valley to have my hour of relaxation, on their comfotable and cleans beds while they take care of me. I came to Yuki Lashes for a special occasion as I am going out of town for my birthday next week, and wanted to get full long voluminous lashes. I even came in with a picture of what I wanted, and when I showed the woman who worked on me, she seemed to understand and agree that she could make it happen. I will preface this review by saying that I don't think the woman who worked on me was Irene -- the one who everyone raves about. This woman was cold, and kept making comments about how one style looks "better" than the one I was asking for. I didn't appreciate these subjective comments since I am paying her $300 to give me what I asked for and specified in the picture. I was really excited to get my lashes done because I haven't done so in a while, and wanted something fun and a little more dramatic for my birthday. The end result was disappointing because it wasn't what I wanted. She then told me that they "don't do crazy lashes here" insinuating that what I asked for looked "crazy" even though I have seen many girls with the same style, and thought it looked beautiful. I would have appreciated her trying harder to achieve what I asked her to do, instead of dismissing me. And if the look couldn't be achieved using the type of lashes they use in the store, letting me know that beforehand before I laid down for three hours and shelled out $300 instead of telling me upfront the look I want cannot be achieved with those specific lashes. I went to get a lash lift When I arrived I asked the lady, which one of the lash lift was the best, and she told me the "yumi lifting" $185.00 So she did that one on me. When she was done with the treatment, I saw that my lashes were less than normal. She had my lashes stuck together and they had glue. I followed the instructions of care of not washing my lashes for 48 hours. But after that wash my lashes were burned. And now they are falling off !!! And in the inner corner of my eyes, I have no lashes. And in one eye I have couple of lashes that are curling inward. I am very upset for the work that was done on me. I have had this type of treatment at other locations and never did I have the same experience like I did here. read more
