Sasa beauty was recommended by my BFF because she has gotten semi-permanent brows done a few times. I was a little skeptical for getting my first semi-permanent eye brows done. I have seen a lot of semi-perm brows with markings on IG so I know what the eye brow markings are and requested SaSa to do markings before the procedure so we both are on the same page. She is overly confidence that she has her own way of marking eye brows. My eye brows came out good but it could be a lot better since she posts herself as eye brows expert on Chinese social medials (Xiaohongshu and WeChat ). The left brow did not get enough ink and eye brows are not even. Then, I got my touched up a month later, the left brow was obviously a lot thicker, overly inked like a man's eye brow compare to the right brow. I work for public service and my colleagues are all laughing at my eye brows. My friend took a few photos of my eye brows. What a sloppy job m and funny looking eye brows ends ... like WTF! My friend's brother had the same procedure done (hair stroke /misty brows combo and it was nothing like mine. ! This is not a cheap procedure as I (We, three of us got the eye brows procedure done ) paid over $710 ea + tip for her work and I did not expect this. Tonight, we met up with SaSa at her shop. What an angry woman she was... like she was doing us a favor to meet up with us. We called the shop before meeting with her. She didn't bother to see what's going on with my eye brows, not admitting her sloppy job. We don't like the way how she was constant talking over us. Eyebrows are my greatest vanity when it comes to makeup. They're the only things I absolutely must have done in order to feel presentable. I had a good experience with microblading about 4 years ago, but had not had any kind of touch ups since then. I decided to choose SASA Beauty after searching on Yelp and looking through reviews and client photographs. SASA was also one of the first to reply to my messages regarding setting up an appointment and if I was a viable candidate since I had work done on my brows previously. Communication was primarily via text and very prompt. I like that the website is transparent with pricing so there were no surprises at the end of my visit. I was required to put down a $100 deposit at the time of making my appointment. They also sent me a reminder two days before to confirm. Location is within 5 min walking distance from the 28 MUNI line on 19th and Taraval. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants, and a Walgreens nearby in case you need to kill time. At check in, they took my temperature, had me sanitize my hands and fill out some intake forms. Then I was walked to the back where Sasa took a look at my eyebrows, asked questions and looked at photos of how I usually do my makeup and how I'd like my brows to look. I mentioned I have an oily t-zone and I prefer more coverage on the brows so we agreed on the misty brows as the best option. She sketched out the shape of my brows, made some measurements, and then brought me to a smaller room in back. I didn't need to use the restroom, but know that it's an option prior to starting treatment. My appt was about 2 hours from start to finish. The facility and rooms are clean, no food smells, and there was quiet piano music and water fountains running throughout so it felt tranquil. Numbing cream (or gel?) was applied to my brow area and covered with plastic for 15 min prior to starting the semi permanent makeup procedure. Misty brows compared to microblading felt much more comfortable. The color is stippled on instead of sliced in. I barely felt any pain or discomfort - only a little bit of soreness towards the end, but I think it was more due to the frequent wiping process. I didn't need to take any breaks or require any additional numbing. I was made to sit up after the first pass to check for any minor adjustments or suggest and spots that I felt needed more coverage. Overall very pleased with this first time experience. They just opened a tea/ice cream shop across the street called Milktopia which I was introduced and treated to a beverage of my choosing following my appointment which I found a nice touch and kind gesture. I'll be back in about 2 months for a touch up and I'll definitely get some ice cream or milk tea too. Thank you Sasa for the hospitality and TLC! read more

Sadly to say, I did not enjoy smelling bad hands odors while getting my lashes done. Not sure, if the person washed their hands or just had bad odor.
