I am a relatively new client of Amy's since the beginning of this year. With a rough start with lash extensions at a location in revere, has since shut down, I was hesitant about trying again. Almost 3 years later, I won't let anyone else touch my lashes. Amy continues to be professional, pleasant, affordable and reliable. I prayed to the Extension Gawds that her business would survive CV19; and I was probably her 1st appointment upon permission to reopen. Thought I was going to do lashes extensions ONCE for the beginning of senior yr until she did my lashes so right for my eyes went back for more refills. She's polite, respectful & patient. I didn't have license beginning senior yr of high school so she let me stay until a ride showed up no matter the minute she's amazing because she didn't have to do that for me. I visitied Amy for the first time based on positive reviews. She was pleasant in person and the room was comfortable. However, I got the volume lashes and was a little disappointed that they were nearly 200 USD and they didn't look too voluminous. Anyway, I emailed her after for care information for which she replied. I then visited my friend who gets volume lashes frequently (she's a makeup artist) and said that my lashes didn't look like the volume and it looked like one lash per lash and not multiple. When I asked Amy by email then to confirm what I got, she sent me a horrible, rude reply. Which I have attached here. Maybe she gave me just less because I told here I had only gotten lash extensions once before years ago so wouldn't know what I was getting! Clearly, I'll never be back and tell all my friends to give their custom to the businesses in Assembly row. I'll just leave this conversation right here. I should have known better from her other bad reviews but I saw her lashes on a stranger and they looked great, so I had to try. On top of her cheerful attitude, her studio is super hot with no ventilation and she is super strict and rude and makes negative comments when you move. Quite literally requests that you do not move at all which is basically impossible. I wish this woman the best of luck in her business. I hope she learns the value of great customer service. ------ Right on time, just as I had expected you to retaliate, just like you did with your previous reviews. You have twisted my words BEYOND! Like I decided to talk on my phone- I had a call, in which I told someone I right away that I couldn't speak and would call them back... I couldn't nap because your room was too hot!!!! I did not speak badly about the owner of lash L'amour- the owner was lovely to me, which I told you! I went to them for months. For whatever reason, their lashes just didn't work for me, which I was open with them about. Which led me to you.. Also you told me at the end of my appt that I was only 75% full- so when I asked to come in SIX DAYS LATER, I asked if you had a price for a ONE WEEK FILL. So I didn't have to pay for a two week fill, which makes sense. I never asked you to stay late you crazy woman, I asked if I came to you on a week day, the earliest I could get to you was 6.15 and I was so kind in asking if that would be too late or if there was any way you could work with that. Which never happened! I came to you on a weekend night and then *you* were running late. NBD. Your lashes were gorgeous but let me tell you, nothingggg is worth being treated this way. read more

This is the first time Amy did my lash extensions. She was patient, she asked what effect I would like to see with the extensions, long, cat-eyed, curled, or if I had any special occasion coming up for the extensions to be done. She then moved on to the amazing work. The eyelashes she used for extensions are nice and light, which was important to me, as I had extensions done in the past that were a bit heavy. She spent over an hour with me on the Hybrid set, it came out great. I highly recommend her. At the end of the service, She gave me a cleanser for the extensions, some sponges to remove makeup with the special cleanser, and an eyelash brush as post-extension maintenance set. I've been going to Amy for my lashes since April and couldn't be happier. I had never gotten lash extensions before and Amy asked plenty of questions about what type of look I wanted and explained the different options clearly, how to care for them, etc. She is very gentle and efficient, and her studio is cute, clean, and welcoming. She warned me that lash extensions are addictive, and she was totally right! I've "upgraded" a few times and each time she has made sure I was happy with the look. Amy's work is very high quality and reasonably priced. I get TONS of compliments on my lashes and people often don't even realize they are extensions. Her online booking is super convenient, and I have never had issues with parking using the pass she provides. On top of all of that, Amy is incredibly sweet and you can tell she really cares that her clients are happy (even asking what drinks we want in her adorable little fridge). I'm extremely picky and particular about who I let lash me up. A friend recommended that I checked out Amy's work so I came on Yelp and looked at some of her work. The pictures don't do justice! Amy's work is absolutely amazing. I texted her and she was able to reply to me right away. We scheduled an appointment for the next day. She did a great job on me. Recently got my eye lashes done and I absolutely love them! This was my first time getting eyelashes so I was kinda nervous but everything came out perfect! She asked me what my preference was but I left it all in her hands because it was my first time. The place is super neat and super clean. I fell asleep twice during the appointment because I was so comfortable! At the end she asked me how everything looked and I was super happy with the results! When I was looking for a new lash artist, I found Amy, via Instagram and decided to reach out. It was the best decision that I have made to switch artists. Not only does she respond quickly but she is the sweetest. She has always been super accommodating since my first visit & her studio is so clean and welcoming. Amy always asks me before each fill if I would like to change anything or make adjustments, and for the first time with an artist, I always say no because I'm always so happy with the results.
