Honestly, I would say I have pretty high standards for lash extensions I have gotten them done over the past 3 years from another expert technician in a different city, and had multiple shitty/mediocre experiences in the past before finding her. I'm fully sold on eyelash extensions for life! I have monolid eyes and short straight Asian lashes that grow downward. I've tried lash perms and lash lifts but nothing can compare to the oomph you can get through these eyelash extensions. I made my first natural lash appointment with Delger in March for a special occasion. The process itself took about 2 hours but it was well worth it. When she finished my set, she knew right away that I needed a few more lashes for that extra pop and although she had an extremely packed schedule, she squeezed me into her break time in between other appointments. Delger truly cares about you and your lashes! My natural lashes lasted about 2 months. I wore minimal makeup (eyeliner or eyeshadow), used oil free micellar water as make-up remover and combed them out daily with the mascara brush Delger provides at your appointment. Delger simply saved my Eyelahes while the place I received my lift and tint ruined my Eyelahes and told me to wait it out until they grow up... for over 8 weeks and right before my best friends wedding I was devastated with my eyelashes that literally looked like pubic hair... If you want top quality lashes at an affordable price this is your place. Both Kara and Delger are very lovely people. I get my lashes done by Kara and she is so sweet and SO talented. My lashes probably would have lasted a little over a month but I just got them filled at a little over three weeks - which is great because I love hot showers and I frequent the steam room at least 3 times a week at Equinox (this usually​ makes your lashes fall out much quicker). The space is small - but in my opinion,​ this is the best kind of space to get your lashes done in. It's beautiful, clean and cozy so if you are looking for a nap while you get lashed it is perfect (or if you are looking to chat Kara has so many great stories). I can't recommend​ this place enough! It's been 3 years since my last review and just updating everyone that Delger is still a rock star. I go every 3 weeks for my refill and haven't missed an appointment (except when I went down in Florida during COVID) and miraculously my lashes have been in great shape and never had to take a break unlike many other girls who get their lashes done by unexperienced technicians. What I love about Delger is that she's HONEST and always tells you the truth. At the height of my obsession I was getting my lashes filled every other week - she told me that it wasn't necessary and a waste of money. She treats every client as a close friend - she's not just in it to make a quick buck. Not too long ago I recommended Delger to a friend who moved to NYC from LA. She had been getting her lashes done regularly at her salon in LA and needed someone here to fill them here. I had dinner with her after she was settled in and noticed that her lashes were completely gone. She told me that Delger had removed her lashes and, instead of putting on a new set, she recommended taking a break for a few months because her natural lashes were in such bad condition from all the glue her previous technician had haphazardly put on. I've gotten eyelash extensions twice at Lashes by Delger - once by her and a second time by her new assistant Haliuna - and I couldn't be any happier with the experience and outcome. Firstly, the building is super easy to find: the only minor issue I had was having trouble locating which suite to go to during my first visit (but a quick text to the ladies solved that.) Both Delger and Haliuna are super friendly and keep up pleasant conversation as you get into the process, though the experience is so relaxing I usually lull into sleep midway through! At the end I wake up to amazing lashes that last longer than the two/three weeks they tell me to expect. I stumbled upon Delger on Yelp while looking for a place to get extensions done near my college & have been getting my lashes done by Delger for a little over a half a year now. I've gotten my lashes done at other places prior to this and since I found out about her, I haven't gone anywhere else! The first few times I went, asked for really natural looking lashes with some oomph- especially since I wear glasses to see during lectures and hate it when the tips touch the glass. I loved them and didn't think anything could look better. After the semester ended, I had to go on vacation & I knew I wouldn't need to wear my glasses so I told her to make them as long and curly as was possible for my eyes.. & they looked AMAZING. I worked with Delger and her new assistant Haliuna before my trip to the Dominican Republic! Her building is really easy to find! Once you go up the elevator there is a small bench to sit on while you wait for Delger to open the door. Her studio is cozy but very well organized. This was my first time getting eyelash extensions. I was a little ambivalent about getting them because I have uneven eyelids and wasn't sure how they would turn out. Delger caught this instantly and I ended up getting a mix of different curl lengths. My appointment took a little longer than anticipated but I could tell Delger and Haliuna were very meticulous. After everything was done my natural set looked amazing! Delger's lash suggestion worked out perfectly and my lashes looked even. Before I left Delger gave me a black spoolie with a silicone pink tip. I brought this guy everywhere! I didn't wet my lashes for 48 hours and they looked amazing during my trip where I snorkeled and dive without any problem. I cannot stop raving about how much I loved Delger's studio I had an amazing experience today. First of all she is extremely accommodating, since I am a late night owl at work I couldn't get an appointment until after 5 and she gladly gave me a late one at 7. When you arrive on the 4th floor you do have to send a text to her and then she greets you with a friendly smile. Her studio was really inviting, I loved the curtains and dim lighting and comfy furniture and cute mirror, chandeliers and cleaning/tools station. She also puts on relaxing music as this process can be tedious and a comfy pillow to support your knees. Just an fyi she only takes cash and the appointments are primarily done through the booking system on the website. The first thing we did was the consultation, she will ask you to stand at various angle and assessed my eye size and how many lashes I can handle. She also even looked at how the curl shape was and delger even knew which way i slept just by the way they looked. I wanted to go dramatic but she recommended natural, she didn't want any of them to fall off or look too clumpy. That right there showed me that she wasn't looking to rip me off and get more money out of me. Afterwards she cleans your lashes, under-eyes and puts cool patches on and your eyes remains shut for at least 90 minutes. I hardly felt any discomfort. The glue barely burned, shes goes lash by lash and sets them gently and neatly. The lashes are cashmere(synthetic) and to be honest its better then mink or false advertisement, she explains how many people pretend to have real mink and how mink isn't sanitary or efficient. The lashes also felt super light! She also is knowledgeable on waxing, microblading, lash lifts, extensions, and she is a licensed aesthetician for 7 years.By the way I forgot i was even getting my lashes done because she answered my ten thousand questions and she is an amazing conversationalist( we spoke about work, nyc life, fitness and beauty trends and stupid men). I also like how she doesn't do a gallery on display because she does not intend to disappoint with any expectations that a customer may intentionally walk in with. I also felt very comfortable with the care instructions, you cant get the lashes wet for 12 hours, try to avoid steam in the first few days so the glue can bond better ; she gave me advice on morning care after you wake up and she even gave me free disposable wands for touch ups, and you should sleep on your back and avoid mascara and oily based cleansers. She taught me new things about mascara and how it damaged my lashes, and how we can improve our natural lashes by the root through hydration. Its kind of tricky to sleep on your back but its worth the salvation. Eventually in a matter of weeks the lash extensions will grow longer at the tip so the changes will be noticeable but not dreadful. Delger also gave me something to look forward to for my next visit in 3 weeks, she can achieve longer length depending on how i handle the medium length chosen now. For $90 and extra $10 as option if you wanna add a few final darker lashes for an extra pop this truly cant be beat. The touch up rates are also extremely affordable as you will see on her website, overall she can achieve any look desire whether your a volume over length kind of customer or vice versa, thank you for giving me the confidence of my dreams. I recently moved to NYC from the west coast and was searching for lash extensions for a vacation. Delger made my lashes look so good I've made it a routine. I've been to five places between LA and SF previously, and Delger tops the list for quality and value! $60 for a three week natural fill is a great deal. She is meticulous and efficient. Each fill takes about an hour and I've never had any stinging or irritation during the process with Delger the way I've had with some of my other lash applications.
