I tried growing them out in 2025, but after that, I just couldn't figure out how to shape them AT ALL! So I had the bushiest catapillars. I was worried about over plucking (it took a year to grow them back!) and found a solution where they let me do a tinting and mapping so I could just shave them when I got home. And after I shaved them, I was very impressed! I feel like they are back to how I like them, but couldn't figure out how to get to on my own for years. It's like a constant fusteration and anxiety has totally evaporated. I also found the service very relaxing, it made me feel like I was going to fall asleep lol. Definitely book here if you've been having long term struggles like me, or you just want someone to take the load off of filling in your eyebrows every day! I showed her my current nails and asked whether she could recreate them. During my last appointment, Sakura had used two different colors, and I wanted to repeat one of them. Unfortunately, Sakura's schedule didn't work with mine, so I booked with another technician who had five-star reviews and availability that matched my schedule. Because there was a language barrier, the technician asked the receptionist to help explain what I wanted. Then, suddenly, the technician told me I needed to hurry because she had run out of time and had another appointment at 2:00 p.m. This made absolutely no sense to me. According to the salon's confirmation message, my Russian manicure with cat-eye polish was supposed to take approximately two hours. How did a two-hour appointment get reduced to less than one hour when I arrived on time and had already been asked to wait? I also did not feel comfortable paying for a detailed and expensive service while the technician was already rushing me before she had even started. I told them I would rather cancel the appointment than continue under those circumstances. The receptionist told me that the technician did have enough time and knew her schedule. I explained that the technician herself had just told me the opposite. At that point, I was too frustrated and uncomfortable to keep going back and forth, so I left. I only made sure to clarify that I had shown up for my appointment and should not be charged as a no-show. This is especially disappointing because my previous two experiences at Rich Angel Salon were great. From the receptionists to the nail artists, I had received excellent service before. I was hoping to make this my regular nail salon because it is close to my home, even though it is on the expensive side. Client appointments are short increments so if you are running 10 mins late for your appointment (with a restaurant resy this would be fine), you're going to eat into her next clients appointment time which is why she specifically states her time policy in the confirmation email - which I respect. Quality of work is top-tier - the shape of my eyebrows has drastically improved since seeing Tory (post overplucking era in my younger years - don't do it kids). My skin is quite sensitive so I get the tweezing add-on when I go in for a wax and I love getting a stain for special occasions.
