There was a scheduling issue with my appointment when I arrived, where I had booked with Tram but she was already attending to another customer. She was able to offer a solution to still accommodate my appointment without inconveniencing the other customer she was mid-lash application with or me. My service was great! Tram didn't make me feel rushed, even given the circumstances, and explained everything super clearly. I walked out of there very happy with the results and Tram even included a free add on service for the scheduling snafu. Definitely will be back. I requested hybrid, wispy lashes full set. I first found them through an ad on Facebook that said any style for $68. When I got there and showed the last tech how I wanted my Lashes she seemed to have an attitude about the style, length & lash mapping I wanted. Then she says that I could only have a classic set with the offer. I showed her the ad that I responded to which states any style. She went and spoke with another lash tech & when she came back she told me that she would honor it, but only work on my lashes for one hour. typically it takes two hours to do a full set of Lashes so I asked her how long do you normally take to do a set? She replied from 1 1/2 -2 hours. So basically I'd be getting a subpar service. I found that to be completely unacceptable and considered to be a bait and switch, which is illegal. I can't believe she even offered that to me smh literally made no sense. I think special deal or not that they would want to do their very best work on every client. The whole point of the ad is to bring new customers in. Why would I ever come back if you didn't do a good job to begin with. I would never choose Lash pilot again first and foremost they lie in their ads, the staff at that location were very rude and they did not give me a refund for my deposit. People these days are so quick to ask for a deposit to make an appointment, but they are real slow to give you your money back when they don't honor their end of the bargain. Also, it was a very big waste of my time. I have an event that I need to go to this evening and now I'm screwed because they wasted my time and didn't follow through with what they advertised. Skip Lash pilot and go somewhere else. Also, I was there for a good 20 minutes before I was even greeted. The service was gonna begin late. read more

Very disappointed. I paid over $300 for mink lashes and an eye brow lamination. The only employee in the salon did not speak English so it made it very difficult to communicate- though I thought pictures would suffice. She was done in an hour or so which tells you it's an incomplete job, even if you're very quick. I paid over $300 for my lashes and eye brows to look like I never got a service done. I really hesitated to write this review, but I feel like I need to share my experience after getting lash tinting and a lift. As a first-time client and a walk-in, I had high hopes based on the salon's 4.6-star rating, but unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. *Maybe there so many reviews bc if you do leave a review this shop gives you a free keychain... spoiler alert i didn't get nor do i want the free chain.* When I arrived, the first thing I noticed was the front door boarded up, which wasn't exactly the warm welcome I was hoping for in downtown Santa Monica. The technician was busy with another client, and when I mentioned I didn't have an appointment, she told me to come back in 40 minutes. I returned only to find her still occupied with someone else, and I felt invisible while waiting for about 30 minutes. When I finally mentioned I might leave, she said it would only take her 5 minutes to finish up--though it ended up taking longer than that. In hindsight, I should have walked away then, but I kept thinking about that glowing rating. The salon had a nice vibe, but sadly, that didn't carry over to the service I received. The main pink couch had a few stains, which started to give me a bad feeling about the place. I've had this procedure done before, so I knew what to expect, but when the technician placed the tape on my skin, it felt completely different--and not in a good way. My under-eye area started to swell, which raised a red flag for me. I noticed there was no cotton buffer, something I always had at other salons. Instead of using cotton swabs, she attempted to get my lashes to stick with just her fingers, which led to a burning solution getting in my eye. To make things worse, she left me alone to attend to another client, checking in occasionally with a timer. I wish I could have opened my eyes to see how much time was left because it felt like an eternity. After her first attempt, my lashes looked barely touched. She suggested we could try again, but by the third attempt, I was exhausted, in pain, and just wanted to be done with it all. Eventually, she noticed my frustration and only charged me for the lash tinting, but honestly, I didn't see any difference at all. She offered to fix it another day, but at that point, I was done and politely declined. I just wanted to get out of there. On a positive note, the bathroom was clean and had a pleasant smell, which is why I'm giving it 2 stars. But I can't help but wonder if the technician was even licensed. Perhaps they excel in extensions, but when it comes to lash lifts, I would recommend looking elsewhere. I wouldn't go back even if it were free, and I'm still feeling pretty upset about the whole experience. read more
