This place looks super cute and the owner seems friendly, but she unfortunately had poor customer service. I went in for a half set (she only really does full sets so don't go here if you want that) and I showed her pictures of what I wanted and asked for a natural look. She gave me the longest lashes and rushed the entire process. I'm assuming since I was her last client, she was trying to get out the door but this was very unprofessional. She answered the phone a couple times throughout my appointment and when I asked her to fix my lashes, she was clearly frustrated and rushed to damage control as well. Some lashes aren't even glued on right and hanging from my lash. She charged me $50 too, when a full set is apparently $70 which I thought was a rip off. I went here on a whim since the reviews seemed promising but I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a natural lash look. Definitely wasted money and will need to get them redone ASAP. read more

UPDATE: 3 weeks later, and sadly I had to call YooJin to remove my lashes... Most people would let the extensions run its course and fall off naturally. But my natural lashes were weak and falling off with the extensions. I was afraid all my real lashes would be gone lol. YooJin actually warned me about it after her assessment of my lashes and so my phone call didn't come as a surprise. She was sweet enough to fit an extra appointment for me and removed the extensions free of charge. And thankfully my lashes are still intact! YooJin was very careful and gentle during both the application and removal. Next time, I may try going for a more natural-length set. I would still recommend her for lash extensions! read more

I went to Yoojin three times. The first time I loved my experience there. The next two times I did not. The second time - I booked my appointment two weeks in advance, and when I arrived right on time, I get a confused look on her face and - "who are you?"... I'm shocked because 1.) I had an appointment with her. 2.) every other eyelash lady, no matter how busy they were, ALWAYS remembered who I was, even if they didn't know my name. I thought that was weird. I told her I had an appointment with her and pointed out our text exchange. She nervously laughed and said oh... I have another customer right now. Please come back another time? To try to sweeten the deal she threw in a 10% discount. I just took it and came back the following week, the only day I was free. I had to take a little time out of work to arrive that day. When I arrived the following week, she tried to charge me the full-set price with no discount- I had to remind her that I had tried coming last week for my fill, and the reason why I couldn't is because she forgot my appointment. Also, I had a discount from her. Sigh. I went one more time after that and tried asking her to make the lashes a little longer, but she refused, saying that I wouldn't look good in them. Okay.. I'm paying you for these? Now with my new lady, I get that same length plus more and I look bomb in them. I have no idea what she was talking about. First time at this salon. I only had to find a new place because my salon I usually go to were booked. The lady was super nice she never made me feel uncomfortable she even accommodated me with an early appointment. But I specifically asked her to get cat eye starting from 9mm to 13 for some reason she only did 13mm through out. Then my left eye lashes are not even by not even I am mean lashes were crisscrossing and she already had another customer waiting so I didn't even bothered staying to fix it. First, I will give 2 stars for the lashes that didn't last until the second week but were really nice because they were mink.Secondly, One star for communication or lack Thereof. I was running late for my apt and she told me she had another client in the salon that could take my place and I could come an hour later. Long story short when I got there she didn't even acknowledge me; I had to go in the back room and ask her what was up since she called in another person who was also waiting. Unfortunately my lashes barely lasted a week. I had them done on a Tuesday and by Tuesday of the following week they had practically all fallen out. What was left was clumpy. I took very good care of them, and was disappointed they didn't last long. I texted Yoojin, but all she had to offer was that 'if you have oily hair it doesn't stay long'. So, that was rude, inaccurate, and uncalled for. I wonder if she even remembers me specifically, with my bob cut and no bangs, that I wear pulled back every day and has never once been called oily lol, or if she uses this as a mean excuse to everyone. I went to Cateyelash couple of times and it has been a good experience so far. What I like about here is that their appointment times are always flexible and they open on Sundays. The price for full set is $70, which is affordable price compare to other shops. The owner is very nice and does a great job. I waited a week to write this so that I could leave an honest review. I got my lashes done by Yoo Jin and they are still holding up so nicely! I am so excited that I finally found a lash extension place that gives beautiful, natural, and long lasting results. I called a day before and made an appointment for the earliest slot available since I had a busy schedule ahead of me that day. They open at 10 but Yoo Jin was super nice to accommodate me at 9:30 a.m.! I think that just shows how devoted she is to her customers, and plus I was a first timer! I felt so at ease while she was working on my lashes. It wasn't painful at all and even if it were painful, I think the beautiful results justify that. We had a friendly talk during the whole process so time went by super quickly! It takes around 45 minutes to an hour. When I was done and looked at the mirror, I was so happy with my results. I asked for natural lashes with a little bit of emphasis on the outer edges and she delivered just that and even more. Made an appointment this morning and Yoojin unni was kind enough to make space for me about 45 minutes after. She sent me directions to the store as well as pricing information which was very helpful. The store is upstairs on the left side, right next to the envy store. When I walked in yoojin unni asked if it was my first time and introduced me to different lengths of lashes. She also asked about the style I wanted and accommodated my wishes. I asked for long wispy lashes and she gave me exactly that. The procedure wasn't painful at all, being my first time she made me feel relaxed and just at home. I was very comfortable the entire time and she was super sweet, we had a fun conversation and she answered all my questions about lash extensions. I came here last week for my visit (she squeezed me and my friend in last minute on a Friday! I really appreciated her flexibility!) and I wanted to write a review since I know how important reviews and eyelash extensions are. First things first, I live on the Westside so this was definitely a trek for me. I found this place through Yelp (either here or CocoNail, wasn't sure which to call but I called here first!) and gave her a call. She scheduled me and my friend in for a next day appointment. She let me know that first time clients get a discount (70$) which I really appreciated! Also this is CASH ONLY. I cannot stress how important it is that you bring that! When we arrived, I knew she had another client at 6pm so I got started around 6:45pm (early!). I have a lot of issues with eye sensitivity, whether it be from the alcohol toner, the tape, the everything! She was able to get it done without too much pain (although the toner did end up getting slightly in my eye and that was very painful!) and for the most part it was quite peaceful. Please note, she did not wear gloves or a mask when doing my lashes, she also didn't clean the utensils before moving from my eyelashes to my friends. Personally, I don't think the utensils touch your eye at all, they only touch the lashes so this wasn't a huge deal for me although gloves and a mask would be an awesome addition just in case of germs! The process took 45minutes which is extremely quick! I told her I wanted long and wispy but also shorter in the front due to my almond eye shape (I kept thinking it would be unnatural). When I was finished, they looked natural and very beautiful! Also they were WEIGHTLESS. I couldn't feel a thing on my lashes, I was so impressed! I had no bad reactions to the glue, swelling etc. I think for my next fill, I do want a more dramatic set (nothing too crazy, but I love the thicker outer corner). Overall, I've gotten so many compliments on the lashes, they are comfortable to wear, easy to clean and I've only seen 2-3 fall off. ***** Note: for any lash extensions, I recommend sleeping on your back. It takes a few days to adjust (especially if you are a side sleeper like me!) but it helps save the shape of your lashes like NO OTHER. Also it keeps the breakage to a minimum. When it comes to wearing makeup, I try to wear as little as possible in the eye area (for the first two weeks). After more start falling, I'll start wearing eyeliner etc. 4 days and very impressed. I paid $70 to get them done and she charged me $65 for a refill which I thought was strange. Usually fills are at least 20 bucks less than full sets. Plus, I still had a good amount of lashes left from my original appointment but she counted the weeks and since it had been 3, $65 was her fill price for me. If you come back in 2 weeks, her fill price is still kinda high as it is still 60 bucks. However, she charges my roommate $50 for a fill. Of course she doesn't know we are roomies but I definitely felt a little taken advantage of price wise and for that reason..I likely will not be back. read more

I got my first ever extensions here and I was a little nervous, but the experience was really relaxing, and the whole thing was done before I knew it. Unfortunately she was out of the false mink lashes in the length I wanted, so I went with silk. She did a great job of placing the lashes, making them shorter near the tear ducts and fanning out longer as they went out. The full lash set was a bit much for me, but after a few initial lashes fell out in the first few days (haha it was a good thing), it looked much more natural and I received a lot of compliments.
