I would like to give Lashology 5 stars. I think Vi does a great job and I can't imagine going back to my natural lashes - these make such a big difference. Nothing like waking up in the morning and looking like a movie star! My issue is that they are just too booked and since it is something you need to follow up with on a very regular basis I am going to have to find another salon. There were no hour appointments two weeks out and no 90 minute appointments 3 weeks out. What's a girl to do but go elsewhere? read more

Nice, quick eyelash tint! The space is very cute and cozy. I hadn't had my eyelashes tinted in years and was a little apprehensive as it always used to sting. I LOVED my experience at lashology lohi. I wish I'd known not to wear giant boots but no big deal! I took them off, stepped up on the plush "bed" and she asked me to open then close my eyes for cleaning and after that I slept for 135 minutes. The tape on my bottom lashes - to keep them out of the way - took a little getting used to but I got a scalp massage and slept. Kaitlin was very professional and had many questions (I felt like this was a thorough understanding of my needs and lifestyle) that led to an amazing experience. I woke up without any stickiness or discomfort, looked in the mirror and couldn't believe my eyes! I'm so happy and it's hard to imagine ever going back to my short, straight lashes!! She walked me through the do's and don'ts and I purchased the lash cleanser to keep them beautiful. What can I say.. I've been getting my lashes done for 8 years now. If I had to stack rank this against the other salons I've been to, I'd put this into the bottom percentile. Here is why: - Quality: I've since found a better salon. I've had multiple issues over the time that I did go to Lashology, including: a. excess glue usage: I had a CHUNK of glue stuck to a lash that did not have an extension on it. I've never experienced that before. I asked the stylist to be more careful the next time around and then she didn't use enough glue... b. fall-out: lots of fall-out after the excessive glue situation, because she went to the other extreme c. Bases were not glue on: Never had this problem, but the stylist ended up gluing the mid-section, not the base - why?? Do you know how difficult it is brushing through the lashes when the bases aren't glued on? d. Cluster lashes: I did not ask for cluster lashes. Yet, they did and it was using regular heavy classic lashes, not actual volume. Great for not 'damaging the lashes.' e. Curl: I asked for a specific curl at the onset - a D curl. I kept asking why it didn't look the same and the truth finally came out 3 appointments in - it was actually a C Curl. Awesome - thanks for listening. - Pricing: The owner has her own distribution facilities - great - and this is how she keeps the prices down - great. However, your 1 hour appointment is actually 40 minutes plus the stylists (even the most experienced) are quite slow with their work. Now that would be great and all if the work was done well, but as noted above, it's not. - Experience: It's also great and all the owner thinks she knows more than anyone else when it comes to lash applications, but fortunately for the rest of us, the internet has made information symmetrical and as mentioned above, I'm a pretty experienced user of extensions, so there's really no need to lecture me on why a D curl doesn't work for my straight lashes. I've never had a problem with it in other cities, why am I having issues now? Of course, I was told by the owner that I'll never be satisfied and that I should probably take my business elsewhere, but the reality of it is, you're in the service industry and your customers should be happy when they're dishing out $$$ - especially when it comes to something delicate like lash application. I've found since found a better salon, certified by Xtreme Lashes. The aromatherapy is great though and I did appreciate the owner taking the time to talk to me (hence the extra star). read more
