While the head of security did eventually offer an apology, he did absolutely nothing to rectify the situation or address the server's hostility. As a business owner, I find it unacceptable that a venue would allow staff to threaten paying guests who are attempting to spend premium prices. An apology without action is meaningless. This experience completely soured our night and left a terrible impression of Phoenix hospitality. From where I was standing, I couldn't see the stage at all, which made it hard to enjoy the performance I came to see. Beyond just being crowded, it felt unsafe. The number of people packed into the space seemed excessive, and I genuinely question whether it exceeded fire code limits. People were standing all the way back into the bar area. Navigating through the crowd was difficult, and there didn't appear to be enough room for people to exit easily if needed. I've been to this venue since its 2017 opening and had much better experiences, but this event felt poorly managed. I hope they take crowd capacity and guest safety more seriously in the future.
