Great place amazing drinks! It's a little overwhelming on the physical menu but if you use QR code it helped a lot with ordering. Atmosphere was nice. Enjoyed both inside and outside areas. Got to try out the cigars they were humidified to protection. The food was different but tasty. The welcoming staff was on point set the tone of your evening. The waitress could have had a little more personality for my liking especially when you let them know your first timers. However, overall a great time would definitely go again.

This bar is super popular and is located in Downtown Phoenix so reservations are definitely recommended, especially on Friday and weekend nights! They're open Tuesday - Sunday from 4pm-12am (except Fri & Sat - 4pm-1am) They've Happy Hour (Tues-Fri from 4-6pm) Parking is difficult but there are meter and paid parking structures available. Definitely recommend using Weymo/Uber Inside was very pretty with lots of cute Christmas decorations because they currently have a pop-up called "Sippin' Santa"! The menu had a huge variety of cocktails and liquor, as well as food. Prices were a bit pricey since most cocktails were $18.50+ and food items were $18+ Service was very welcoming, friendly, and attentive! Ordered the Coco Ho Ho Ho ($18.50) and it was super refreshing! Not too sweet and subtle notes of coconut and pineapple. I was expecting it to be like a Pina Colada but it wasn't. However, it still tasted pretty good and not too bitter so it was enjoyable! Lovefruit Medley was amazing! Super deljcious bursting with flavors of strawberry, pineapple, watermelon, and lemon! Reminded me of a sangria since it was so fruity and refreshing! Definitely recommend! The Truffle Fries ($17) was incredible! The fries were crispy and super fresh! The Truffle salt butter was so good! Not too salty and packed with flavor in every bite! If you're a fan of truffle fries, you'll love these! Overall, I really enjoyed my drinks and food so I'll definitely return and recommend!

We didn't have food but we had drinks and they were delicious! I had their version of an espresso martini and it ranks up there as one of the best I've had! The service was phenomenal! They work as a team so you are well taken care of. The inside is very loungey and more of a romantic setting which is nice for a date night!

We liked the drinks, but our unusual encounter with the bouncer almost made us reconsider going. We had just come from their sister establishment, Little Rituals, where we had such a great experience that we wanted to check out their other place. Upon arriving, we were unsure which side of the ropes to enter since there was no visible sign from the direction we came from. We stood facing the front of the door, but the bouncer did not acknowledge us. There was no line so I politely asked the bouncer where to go, and he rudely replied, "read the sign," pointing to one that was facing the other way. Taken aback by his attitude, my group of four exchanged confused looks and walked around to find the sign that said "line starts here." Then, things got really strange... The bouncer suddenly turned super friendly and immediately let us in. We were all puzzled as we walked in. Although his initial demeanor had left a bitter taste in our mouths, we decided to stick around for just one drink. My friend made a comment that maybe that's why they named the bar "bitter and twisted..." The bar staff were friendly and helpful. I opted for the Tiramisu cocktail, which featured Patrón reposado tequila, coffee and cacao liqueurs, mascarpone cheese, and a cold brew shot. It was delicious and well-balanced. The rest of my group also enjoyed their drinks. The same bouncer was again super nice to us as we left the bar, so I suggest to proceed with caution.

From the moment we walked up to the entrance, til the moment we left... we had an absolutely AMAZING experience! We had heard so much about this place and it was my friends birthday, so we decided to start the night here. We made a reservation online for Saturday night at 7:45 which was very convenient. First walked up to the entrance and two sweet gentleman welcomed us with smiles and got us checked in. Walked inside and the hostess welcomed us and then another gentleman came up and wished my friend a happy birthday and dusted us with some glitter that made this night extra special, and we were just beginning. Such a sweet little touch! We were brought to our clean table and were poured water and given menus. Even though we didn't order any food (this time), everything on the menu sounded delicious. A quick peruse through the menu and we decided on our first two drinks. The Born Tequila was sweet with a hint of spice that was delicious. The Rhubarb Ba-Arnadas was SO refreshing, the hibiscus was so pleasant and balanced out the drink. Our server was very attentive and explained more about the drinks while we were trying to decide on our second round. The Lime and Coconut was my personal favorite, the tequila with pineapple and the coconut foam on top was to die for!!! I'd go back just for that drink! They also have a photobooth in the back which we absolutely loved!! They started to get busy as we left, but the noise level wasn't a problem. Perfect for date nights too!! Such a pleasant experience, I can't wait to go back and try more of their drinks & experience their exceptional customer service!

I haven't been to b&t in years and not for lack of wanting to, I'm just not in that area of downtown very often. I got 2 other friends together to enjoy Sippin Santa (it was $15 per person and it doesn't go towards the bill but we did get a present that I consider worth it). We got dressed up and were seated right on time at 7pm by the highly enthusiastic (and probably a secret elf) bouncer at the door. We had the crab rangoon dip for the table and it was so yummy, basically crab dip with sweet chili sauce on top and crispy wontons, we scraped the plate! For drinks, there's 6 to list here so we had the Coco Ho Ho Ho, Pineapple Upside Down Cask, and Jingle Bird for round 1. Round 2 was the Rum DMC, a gin fizz, and the Solero. By far the collective favorite was the Solero, I don't know why but it was sooo tasty. Next time that might be all I get. 11/10 experience, the vibes were vibing!

Amazing service, great vibe, delicious food. The place was lively on a Friday night. The bartenders were hilarious while the DJ spun throwbacks. The cocktail menu is extensive. You're sure to find a unique drink that peaks you're interest. I tried the fried fish and fries. The fish was fried just right. I doused it in malt ginger and man was it good! It's a great place for groups and singles alike. Accessible entrance.

So cute! There is so many drink choices you could come here 50 times and not drink the same thing! I got the pornstar martini, and my god it was incredible! The staff were super friendly and made really good recommendations based off of what we each liked.

Bitter & Twisted continues to be our favorite cocktail bar. The holidays is always fun at Bitter & Twisted! They really killed it with the theme this year. I ordered the coconut drink which was really boozy and holiday forward. The food was also a hit. The tempura battered cod was delicious. Service was great. Although recommend you make a reservation.

I have been to Bitter & Twisted Cocktail Parlour twice with the most recent being on a Friday evening. I took an Uber. If you're driving, it's downtown so parking won't be easy. Close by, there is metered parking and parking garages. Service (4.5/5): The only real issue I had here is the bouncer. Upon arriving, he asks what can I do for you? I was like umm...I'm here to have a drink or two. A strange question from him which was a little off-putting. Luckily, once you're inside, the bartenders operate at an elite level. They greet you quickly, bring you water, and allow you to peruse the long menu. Throughout my time there, they constantly filled my water when it was still more than half full, they are all friendly, and they even hooked me and my buddy up with a complimentary shot. Service at its finest! Ambiance (5/5): I sat at the bar. They also have table seating and a cool hidden area close to the bathroom for large groups of 15-20 people. I love the ambiance here. It's dimly lit and sophisticated. The decor is great. It's not a speakeasy but you get those vibes here. Food (N/A): They do have a nice food menu including quite a few items that grabbed my attention including the ramen burger. But, since I had a dinner reservation elsewhere that night, I just got their local grilled bread and truffle butter appetizer. While a simple dish, it was done well. The bread was fresh and nicely grilled. The butter was whipped and you had the truffle to give it some complexity. But since it's just bread and butter, I don't want to rate their food fully. Drinks (5/5): This is where Bitter & Twisted really shines. They have a huge menu of craft cocktails, I'd guess close to 75 options or so. They also have beer and wine but it's a cocktail bar so you know what to do here. All of the spirits they use are premium ones so you won't find any well drinks here. The cocktail list is made up of a mix of both classic cocktails and interesting creations. They have won numerous awards, even as one of the top 50 bars in the world. If you're looking for elevated cocktails, this is what you'll find here. I started off with the Up-Pear cut which has pisco (Peruvian liquor as its base). While I don't want to receive an upper cut in real life, this cocktail was delicious. The two, green candies on top were a nice touch, too. While I only had one drink on this visit, Bitter & Twisted is the type of spot I would return to regularly.

This may be my favorite cocktail bar in the country. Just a phenomenal experience. It all starts with the mixologists. They are great at their craft. The drink menu is huge and they have great recommendations. They are fun and engaging the entire time you are there. The ambience is great and everyone is social and friendly. Just an amazing experience from the time we stepped into the door until we left. We will absolutely return.

This was the absolute best place I visited on my trip to the Phoenix area. Parking was a little bit of a headache, but it was more than worth the struggle! This menu is immense and this menu is well thought out beyond what I could imagine! The drinks were well fought out, balanced, and extremely tasty. I would return back here time and time again, and I'm quite honestly jealous of anyone who lives close enough to visit regularly. I highly recommend bitter & twisted to anyone looking to go!

They now offer to go cocktails. We ordered two of them.

My boyfriend and I came to Bitter & Twisted Cocktail Parlour during their holiday-themed cocktail season, and once again, we had a great time. This is actually our third year coming during the holidays, and it's something we'll probably continue to do it's become a bit of a tradition for us. The holiday décor is on point very festive, cute, and cozy and the Christmas-themed cocktails are so good. If you enjoy seasonal drinks, this is definitely the time to visit. The cocktails were well made and fun without being overly gimmicky. This time around, we came a little hungry and decided to try more food items than usual. Most of the food was really good. The tacos were delicious, and the crab dip was a standout we both really enjoyed it. The only miss for us was the chicken katsu sliders. Unfortunately, they weren't our favorite, and we didn't finish them. One of the sliders I had seemed to have a nerve in it, which was a turn-off and made it hard for me to continue eating. That said, the overall experience was still great. Our waitress, Jocelyn, was incredibly sweet and took excellent care of us, which really added to the night. Between the festive atmosphere, great cocktails, good food options, and friendly service, this place continues to be a holiday favorite for us. Highly recommend especially during the holiday season

He then confirmed we were still within the happy hour window and offered to bring us a menu. They used to have an extensive happy hour menu featuring several drinks and food items and now their "happy hour menu" consists of a cheeseburger for $22. Not sure that that really constitutes as a happy hour menu... I asked him why they changed the menu and he put up his hands as if to say he's not to blame and said he doesn't have anything to do with those decisions. He said that "management decided to make a few substitutions but they're pretty good" and didn't provide any further elaboration. I ordered the appetizer lamb lollipops which had four small pieces for $25. My friend decided to try the "happy hour" cheeseburger and he said it was good but it did appear a bit overpriced for an average burger with a pretty hefty serving of french fries. I really wasn't impressed by the quality of the food, the portion size, the price, or the service. It was busy, but not packed, which made the service stand out more than it should have. I had to ask for water twice, never got a refill, and overall felt largely ignored--minimal eye contact, no real warmth, just an impersonal feel that didn't match the space. It felt like a place that may be a bit of a victim of its own success--popularity has grown, but delivery hasn't fully kept pace. Part of the appeal here is the permanent taco truck outside, which I know from past visits is excellent, and I love the truck's outspoken, unapologetic support for immigrants. That said, the cocktail itself was excellent. I was specifically looking for a coffee-based drink before heading to another event, and the Cambures al Estilo Foster delivered on flavor. It was tiny, though--served in a small stemmed glass, gone in a few sips. It did the job, but some may find the portion underwhelming for the price. No major complaints, but nothing pulling me back either. I'm adding a fourth star on a bit of a hunch--I'd like to think they can dial it back in if I return.

My party and I had a reservation on a Saturday night at 9pm (when it's 13 people, what can you do). What kind of sucked though (and mainly why I'm deducting a star) is that we did wait an additional half hour to be seated after our reservation time. Our theory is that they didn't think the entire party would actually arrive, and they were not ready to accommodate us. To be fair, the restaurant IS on the smaller side, but there was 0 communication during that half hour on what was going on... which isn't really good for us either. We got the original set, and this somewhat confused me as well. The food was really good, and was definitely a restaurant that I'd go to for the experience, but for some reason some of the meats were doubled while others weren't. The double portions were really nice since our party was so large, we needed to split the food between 4 different grills (so each table got 2 grills each, feeding 6-7 people in total or 3-4 people per grill), but then we had to share the portions where we only got one serving. It wasn't bad, but to me, didn't make sense. The food was really good though; I didn't care too much about the soup, but the green sauce was SO good. Mixing a little with the soup was incredible. I thought the beef and pork were really good. I personally left the restaurant full, but many others in my party did not. I think it's a really good amount of food for 2 people, but when you push to 3+, you probably do not want to come hungry. Also--the live music at Pemberton next door is SO LOUD, you're going to be shouting at your table the entire night when you sit outside. I think I would come back if I wanted to show this place to someone who didn't live here, but it isn't on the top of my list for when I'm trying to eat out, but I will definitely consider this for special date night occasions. It is extremely expensive for what it is though. For $70+ you risk the chance of leaving not full which SUCKS.

I wouldn't say we had the best experience. The food was pretty decent, but they brought my friends…read morefood out and then mine. Mine was wrong so it had to be sent back and the chicken had to be added to my salad-which took like 20 minutes. Our entire experience create us to be an hour late to the concert next-door. The bartender was kind and was interested in making sure we had the beverage of choice.

This was a fun little surprise! My friends and I just wanted to grab a drink after a long day of…read moretravel, and this was the bar at the hotel. This place had VIBES. We were very comfortably dressed, and no one looked sideways at us, but there were definitely people dressed to the nines! There was a party of women next to us, that were celebrating a birthday. We obliged them by taking their pictures all over the instagramable bar. Ryan was our waiter, and he is tops. Made some really good recommendations and was welcoming and attentive. I was just there for the drinks and enjoyed a lovely glass (or two) of wine, but my friends were feeling more adventurous and ordered some of their inventive cocktails. Including a couple of "Shot in the Dark" which could be ANYTHING. Also a burger was ordered and then brought up repeatedly for the next two days. According to him, it was possibly the best burger he had ever had. His face lit up at first bite. The menu is a mishmash of interesting options and the whole experience was not what we anticipated. In the best way.
