Dr.Velez does such an amazing job. I came here towards the end of my second trimester with excruciating lower back pain. It would take me 10-15 min just to get in and out of the car, I could barely walk, and it was extremely painful to sit, kneel, or lay down. A lot of people don't believe in chiropractic care. I never would have tried it had it not been for a friend recommending that I see Dr. Velez. A few years ago, I struggled with chronic headaches. My neck and back pain were so bad that I had trouble just turning my head to switch lanes on the freeway! From my very first adjustment, I found relief. A few years ago i was told by a Dr. that i had Degenerative Disk Disease, and there was no cure besides surgery that might not get me back to 100%. I suffered through discomfort for years having back pain for so long thinking i HAD to deal with it. A friend of mine highly recommended Dr. Velez. I have to say I was nervous to try Chiropractic care as it deals with the spine, but I was in so much discomfort I decided I would go in. I'm SO glad I did. I am one lucky nurse!!! Dr. Velez gets it he will always greet you with a genuine smile will be professional and approachable at the same time. He takes care of my 15mo old son and I and we always get the best sleep after our visits. I have a compressed disk and a pinched nerve on my mid-lower back caused by a car accident I had about 10 years ago. During my pregnancy I was really concern about my back and how the pain would be as I advanced in my pregnancy. I found Dr. Valez on Yelp. I started seeing him during my third trimester and I am soo glad I did. After my first visit, I felt amazing. My back pain was controlled and I felt great. He also worked on my pelvic area to prepare me for my delivery. Being that this was my first pregnancy, I was able to go through labor with no epidural and was only in the hospital for 7 hours before I had the baby.
