A cool looking dive bar with a unique old structure in the middle of a residential area. How can you not like that.

Thank you to the owner for responding and updating us with the new hours. We stopped in again…read moretonight to give it another try and it was GREAT!! The service was amazing, but we forgot the name of the server. She was helpful, gave recommendations and assisted in decisions between items. We ordered an appetizer of shrimp and it was AMAZING! Great portion size and great taste. We had the Mac and Cheese and the Philly Cheesesteak Wrap. Both items were delicious and more than enough food to fill us up and have leftovers. The best part of the restaurant is the draft wall. You can choose from multiple types of beer, mixed drinks, or straight liquor for mixing yourself. It added fun to the experience pouring your own beverages. The bar is very spacious and allows for multiple seating scenarios from high tops to regular chairs, to couches. You can watch teams play sports below or play pool and darts. I am very glad we gave them a second chance, it was worth the trip back. Thank you for a great evening.

When is a Panini not a panini? Well, when it isn't a Panini…read more The name "panini" is given to a grilled sandwich made from any type of bread. That's what I was expecting when I ordered their roast beef pesto panini sandwich, with sweet potato fries. It arrived sans grill marks. Whatever. My wife went with their Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap. She really liked her Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap. I showed her my "panini" and asked here "Does this look like a panini to you?" Nope, it did not. Anyway, so what did the non-Panini Panini taste like? The roast beef wasn't bad, but it also wasn't good. It was like lunchmeat. The pesto flavor was very light. It was served hot, but I had to salt it because it was so bland. The sweet potato fries were tasty. They had an unlimited soup and salad bar. The soup was okay, the salad was shredded iceberg lettuce with lots of other things to drop on it. Service was a bit slow for lunch since the bartender was also the waitress. The mens room must have been cleaned - when I used it, there was no smell and the fixtures were clean. The have at least 3 pool tables and some arcade games in the back. Lots of monitors playing various sporting events.

There is plenty of free parking and 1 handicap space. The restrooms were convenient and easy to access. The service was outstanding. Our server came right over and took our drink and appetizer order and gave us time to look at the menu. We were there during the dinner hour and there was plenty to choose from. Everything we ordered came in a timely manner, hot, fresh and as we ordered it. We ordered the combo appetizer platter it came with deep fried mushrooms, mozzarella cheese sticks, chicken strips and onion rings. One person ordered the chicken bacon pesto wrap and onion rings, one ordered the chicken strip meal with fries, and the last person ordered bacon cheeseburger meal with tater tots, all the meals came with the soup and salad bar. The soup that night was broccoli cheese and there was a nice variety of salad to choose to choose from. The prices were pretty average for the area.

They put so much care in the making of these sandwiches and everything was flavorful and fresh. The staff was also so authentic and friendly. Great hidden gem!

I love supporting local businesses especially Italian delis!!! Reminds me of home!!! However,…read moresometimes they don't always measure totally up!!! DiTullio's was a cute little place with a small store and small outside patio!! The sandwiches all have names but I don't remember. :( The food was good. I really liked the freshness of products!!! The bread was great. We ordered 4 sandwiches. The tuna which was Italian style yellowfin tuna ( in oil )...fresh and delicious. Not fishy or tinny ?? at all. Very simple but decent sandwich. Nothing special. I believe it was $11.95. Then the Italian beef panini. Again, great bread. It was like a Rosemary Focaccia bread!!! The best flavors but the Italian beef itself tasted like Steak-umms!!! :(. Don't get me wrong, back in the day, I loved me some steak-umms after bar hopping but not for $14.95 pic below Then came the Roasted red pepper Caprese. Beautiful!!! Freshest ingredients. Tomato, basil, fresh mozzarella, artichokes, it was delicious EXCEPT a little salt and pepper would have really lit that sandwich up!!!!! Pic below I ate half and brought the other half home just to test my theory!!!! AAAA-MAZING!!!! Lastly, the turkey and artichoke sandwich which we thought was going to be on the same FANTASTIC ITALIAN BREAD THE OTHERS WERE SERVED ON- nope!!!! It came on like multigrain bread!!!!! Wah-wah!!!! While I do like this bread, not from an Italian deli!!!! Sorry. Not a good choice. Italian deli = Italian bread!!!!! Service was good but the girls I would think if this place got slammed for lunch would sink!!!! Just saying!!! But they were courteous and made a decent sandwich. Overall, for the area, it's a must try. Definitely better quality but expect to pay for it!!! Check it out! A little too pricey ----- 4 sandwiches for $60!!! No way. I could go to a great Italian deli/storefront in Oakbrook terrace and get way more bang for my buck!!!! Take a nice ride on a Saturday afternoon and get lunch!!!! Interested in the name, message me?? Store products seemed a bit much but you be the judge! Check out DiTullio's for fresh Italian ingredients but expect to pay a bit more for them!!!
