My sister in law with her Sancocho...look at the portion!!
    Laura L.

Wow! I was in the area with family and wanted to have Puerto Rican food. We found this restaurant by chance and I'm so glad we did. The food was incredible - great reasonable prices, LARGE portions, perfectly seasoned and so authentic. The ambiance was great too - cozy and friendly. I've gone to more expensive restaurants and the food was not as tasty as this. We had the Sancocho, Pastelon, Bistec encebollado, the Canoa as appetizer. They bring you plantain chips and a cup of soup to start your meal. That soup was so amazing and unexpected. What can I say, the food was so good, the wait staff was so nice.... Will definitely be back!

    Pabellón criollo (Venezuela)

Latin Quarters Restaurant absolutely nailed it. The red sangria? Delicious The Venezuelan dishes were incredible--bold, flavorful, and actually authentic (not the watered-down "close enough" version). Every single meal we had was a hit. We enjoyed it so much we ended up taking a ton of food to go... Huge shoutout to our waitress, Daimy--friendly, on point, and made the whole experience even better. Bottom line: come hungry, order confidently, and plan on leftovers. You've been warned.

    Homemade empanadas

I randomly picked this place cuz I was walking around and they had the empanado Wednesday for a dollar. Needless to say I ordered pork shop meal for $6.99 and the empanadas were only a dollar and they were huge. They were delivered hot and they were amazing. The empanadas that is. The pork chop was so tender. I didn't even need a knife. The ambiance is Latin and it's nice and clean in here and they are very professional. The service was amazing The server's was very knowledgeable.

This is a muy delicioso hotspot for sopas (souos), plantain, chicken, pork, and beef dishes served up with a vibrant and friendly staff . They have great specials daily and occasional live music performances My meals came with crispy plantain chips and yummy chicken soup! They have a generous and reasonable happy hour. Lots to love at this eatery and the Bravo is at the same plaza to take home and make your own delicacies later in the week! Fiesta!!!

I had such a great experience at Latin Quarter. The staff was incredibly nice and very accommodating from the moment I walked in. The food was absolutely delicious -- I ordered the original roast beef Puerto Rican style, and it was unbelievably tender. The fried plantains were also a standout for me. I'm already looking forward to coming back. The servant Caride was very helpful and friendly! :-)

    Whole fried snapper was delicious

Authentic Latin food indeed! Started off with Yuca Frita, delicious. Crispy outside, soft inside and the sauce was just right. LQ gives a complimentary cup of chicken soup and plantain chips that take you to Abuela's house. My husband ordered the whole snapper with black beans, rice and plantains. Nothing but bones were left. I had the shrimp in garlic sauce with mofongo, rice and red beans. Amazing, and I have leftovers. The staff were super attentive and polite, very welcoming. Latin art grace the walls and music played at just the right volume where you can enjoy the music and conversation. Definitely going back

The food is so good. The music isn't too loud and I sat right in front of the speakers. Service was great. Definitely will be back whenever in this area again.

Skirt steak was so tough and flavorless, I threw it out. Rice was ok. Everything was mediocre. Would never order from here again.

Unfortunately, the pork chops were extremely disappointing--they came out rock-hard and completely devoid of seasoning or taste. They genuinely seemed like they were taken straight from the package and dropped into the fryer with zero prep, no marinade, no breading enhancement, nothing. The texture was so tough it was almost inedible, and there was no juiciness or pork flavor to speak of at all. The server was genuinely apologetic and handled the situation with professionalism, which I appreciated. The owner did come over, looked at the plate, said "oh wow," and then comped half the price of the dish. While the discount was a gesture, it felt more like a quick fix than a real effort to make things right--especially since the food was fundamentally flawed from the start. If you're searching for authentic, well-executed Spanish or Latin-inspired food (especially something as straightforward as fried pork chops), this place doesn't deliver. The execution here falls far short of what you'd expect from a restaurant charging for these kinds of dishes. With better attention to seasoning, proper frying technique, and perhaps a bit more care in portion prep, this could be salvageable--but right now, I'd steer clear of the pork chop entrée specifically. Other items on the menu might fare better, but on this visit, the pork chops were a clear miss.

He gave us awesome recommendations that didn't lead us astray. He was attentive, friendly, and personable. Even though they were slammed and packed, he checked in on us often and food came out in a timely manner. DRINKS Delicious and great variety! My dad got a marg with tajin rim, my brother got a coconut mojito, and I got a fun frozen drink. All delish! They have aguas frescas, mocktails and more too. FOOD This brought me back to Puerto Rico! Such authentic and fun flavors here. We got: Sampler appetizer - highly recommend! Tons of food, great for sharing, and a great way to try things like fried plantains and mofongo balls. Concha meal with gandules side - unreal! I forgot how good concha can be. And our server recommended the gandules - Puerto Rican rice that is the national dish - and it was amazing. I wish we'd had room for dessert - it all looked amazing! We will be back for SURE.

We entered the establishment, we noticed a couple of people eating and the server was walking us to the table with the menus and I noticed she didn't grab the lunch menu, luckily I did grab it and took it to our table. We ordered two lunch specials both with arroz guandules, salad, I got fried chicken chunks, with tostones and my boyfriend got fried pork chunks with sweet plantains. The food arrived promptly. They served us large portions. I especially liked the rice and the fried chicken chunks. The tostones were a little on the hard side. My boyfriend was a little upset with the fried pork chunks. He said the meat was cold and hard. (Ouch) The restaurant was a little empty, but what you expect on a Monday afternoon. The restaurant seems like it could be a vibe on the weekends. I love Puerto Rican food and I see they offer an extensive menu and might give it another try if come through the area again one day.

I can tell you with great certainty that the quality of service and food will have c222 hanging around until at least circa 2222 long after I am gone. I passed through one late Sunday evening. Was not sure what time they closed. Apparently it was about 8pm on a Sunday and I arrived 5min past. As kind as could be they fired up the grill again to whip me up some of the best Puerto Rican food I have ever had. Disclaimer: I have never been to Puerto Rico, but I now have been to the best Puerto Rican food truck. The cook came out truck side to give me a run of the menu providing excellent insight. After much deliberation I landed on the Mofongo, La Canoa, and a virgin Lavender Margarita. Fortunately I intended to share these plates because the portions was massive, but even larger were the flavors. Mofongo is a classic and a special of the day, but for those who do not know La Canoa is a local dish featuring a baked sweet plantain base stuff full of picadillo de carne, spiced cheese and salad. A combination of flavors completely new to what I had considered to be my experienced palate. These dishes enrolled me in school, drove me to the bus stop, picked me up later that afternoon, and even helped me with my homework they were so good. Sweet meets savory. Soft meets crisp. Daniel meets heaven. The Lavender Margarita likewise was entirely new and the only thing it was missing was tequila which I quickly found on my shelf to take an already incredible variation on a traditional beverage to the next level. I need to hammer down their hours, but had at least tried to provide you all with a view of their menu in addition to a laundry list of reasons to go check this place out!
