I was recently notified, by the storage owner, that the vehicle would not start, he believed it to be the mechanical fuel pump as the issue. I contacted Gomez Mobile repair and others eventually speaking with the owner of Gomez, Andres. Andres gave me what I believed a fair price to diagnose and install a new mechanical fuel pump, new hose and filter if needed. I supplied the parts and within two days, Andres, had been to the storage unit, confirmed the fuel pump was the problem and installed the pump. I needed the jeep running the day I return from SE Asia to Greenville. Andres kept me informed, did the work and unbelievably stuck to his price which no mobile service guy does, I was shocked. Andres is well educated on car repair and will soon have his Master ASE technician certification! Andres cost was less than half of other estimates, who after receiving their quotes, I thought they must be quoting changing out the entire engine. Andres is a reservist in the Greenville SC area and serving our great country! I cannot thank him enough, who knew but there are still honest men out there! Andres called me after the repair and talked with me about everything he did. If you require mobile repair, I sincerely believe Andres and Gomez repair deserves a call and your business! Mind you my interior is beige cloth. Its obvious my car was used for shop or personal use. My cluster was never program to its proper mileage so now my car shows 50,000 less miles than it really is. Had to ask for documentation twice from Bailey. Was given a $50 gift car for gas reimbursement. I had several billing discrepancies. Bailey tried to charge me for programming until i called him on it. Just a all around horrible experience at Mason and Sons at 215 college st. downtown Greenville sc. Not so sure of anyone elses experience but mine was horrible and I will never recommend this shop to anyone. Bailey tried to seriously cheat me out of a quality job and money. I took my Car in a simple repair a 10mm bolt had broken off Slightly below the surface And I Could not remove it. The quote was either $50 or $1200 and they would not know until it was removed Needless to say I worked on it myself for another 3 hours and managed to remove it with penetrating oil , Ice-Pick and a small Tap-Hammer Be Honest and BELIEVE IN KARMA !
