Some locations did not refill the samples at all. I always stop by on all my trips to downtown or the parks or when I need to restock. The staff are very nice and friendly. I don't expect to be followed around or constantly asked if I need help. But when I walked in, I wasn't greeted by anyone -- no big deal. As I walked through each aisle, though, I'm sure it was obvious that I was looking for something, yet not one sales associate bothered to offer any assistance What really baffled me was that the store was busy, yet the employees seemed more interested in socializing with one another than helping customers. At one point, a sales associate even gave me a dirty look thinking I was going to approach them..I didn't The entire vibe felt hostile, unwelcoming, and completely lacking in customer service I ultimately decided not to spend a single dollar there. One customer choosing not to return may not hurt Sephora's bottom line, but when multiple customers have the same experience and make the same decision, it absolutely adds up

She was incredibly kind, patient, and professional. Instead of making me feel uncomfortable, she treated me with so much compassion and focused on helping me find the right products and techniques to cover the discoloration. She took the time to explain color correcting, helped me choose the right shades, and showed me how to apply everything so it would look natural. Her knowledge and gentle approach made a situation that felt embarrassing much easier, and I left feeling so much more confident. Customer service like that truly stands out. I'm really grateful for her help and for how respectfully she treated me. Ulta is lucky to have employees who care that much about their customers. Thank you again Ms.Jenny.

I'm not sure if it was because I'm a man or because I wasn't dressed up, but I couldn't help noticing that the employees were greeting and helping the women who came into the store while I was left on my own. I already knew what I was looking for, so I spent about five minutes looking around and waiting for someone to offer assistance. When no one approached me, I had to find an employee myself and ask for help. She contacted someone on her radio, but even after waiting more than another 10 minutes, no one came to assist me. At that point, I went to the register and waited in line. I explained to the cashier that I had been waiting for more than 10 minutes and that someone had supposedly been called to help me find my wife's gift, but no one ever came. I even told the employee that I may not have been dressed well, but that shouldn't determine whether I receive basic customer service. I have never felt discriminated against like this before, and the experience was extremely disappointing. Maybe it was because I'm a man, maybe it was the way I was dressed, or maybe there was another reason. Whatever the reason, I believe every customer deserves to be treated with the same respect and attention. I came into the store simply wanting to purchase an anniversary gift for my wife, and unfortunately, I left feeling ignored and unwelcome.

In the past--precisely…read morebecause of their excellent product quality--I would drive two hours all the way from San Diego just to purchase their oils. However, a repeated pattern of highly unprofessional behavior has forced me to give up on this establishment. On three consecutive occasions, they provided me with the wrong oil and refused to offer any form of compensation, leaving me with no choice but to make a four-hour round trip just to exchange the items. When I made a reasonable request for free home delivery as compensation, their excuse was that my location was too far away, stating that they only offer free delivery to nearby areas. then I provided an another address in a nearby neighborhood, yet they still insisted that I pay for the delivery fees. They are unreasonable and highly unprofessional.

**November 2025: Sunday Afternoon Visit**…read more I was in the area and realized that I hadn't visited Beauty Zone in a while. The prices of some of their nail polish has gone up (understandable with inflation), but the rates are still competitive when compared to the big box stores (sometimes half the price!). They still have a good assortment of gel, dip powders, and lacquer. I change my nail polish pretty regularly so I go with lacquer for flexibility. Orly Bonder $6.25 Seche Vive Gel Effect Top Coat $4.50 OPI Lacquer $4.50 (I don't think this brand has a bulk discount) Orly Lacquer $4.50 Essie Lacquer $4.25 (B5G1 Free Promo!) They accept credit card with a $5 minimum if you provide your phone number there's a small discount for the OPI nail polish which otherwise doesn't' qualify for any discounts. When I went home I tired the bonder, Orly. and Top Coat and they all worked great. Beauty Zone still is a great spot to score great deals for a mini indulgence :)

This location is tucked into The Arbor Village Center so it's surrounded by other eateries and businesses. Most people familiar with this plaza know that parking is a headache during lunch and dinner hours. I would not want to be here if it was overly crowded, but thankfully that wasn't the case when we were there on a Saturday afternoon. My friend recently visited Japan so she wanted to stop by to show me their popular haircare products. We ended up spending a whole hour here and I've added more products to my wishlist for the near future. I also walked out with a purchase and can't wait to try it. Notes: ~ Hours of operation are 11:30 AM - 8:30 PM daily ~ Opened in 2018 and it's a smaller store but they still carry wide range of cosmetics, skin/hair/oral/ personal hygiene care products, toys, snacks and lifestyle items (not just Japanese ones, but also trendy Korean and a couple of Chinese brands) ~ Prices are actually not outrageous (some products appear cheaper than the Japanese and Korean markets) ~ Aisles are a bit more narrow here so please be patient ~ There's a spacious sink in the back of the store for hand washing after testing out the wide variety of beauty products ~ Store associates are nice and ready to help find any product ~ Partnered with Fivestars for their loyalty program ~ Sometimes they offer deals like spend $50+ to receive a free gift ~ Products approaching end of shelf life are placed right by the checkout counter (items can be between 30-70% off) ~ Mobile payment accepted
