I have 3B/3C natural hair. My hair is shoulder length when it's curly, bra strap length when it's straight. It can be tough to find someone who knows how to cut my hair. Literally no one is able to cut it curly, which is okay. I'm not actually Latina, but they all seem to know how to do different types of hair there, which is great. This older lady did a terrible job on my relaxer and trim. She was also rude to me and kept making faces at my hair. This was my very first time at this salon and I will not be back. Not only was the service sloppy, but it took all night. When we went to the sink to rinse the relaxer out, she was scrubbing and scratching the relaxer into my scalp. I had driven past this salon for years and read the specials on the window ($20 for a wash and set Tues. & Weds). Finally tried it. As true Latina hair stylist, they did a great job. They can work with all types and textures of hair and do it extremely well. I have 2 daughters; both with very long hair- one very curly and the other has wavy-straight hair. I took them there for cuts and blow dry $35 each. Both stylist did amazing work and did it quickly. My little one w/ the curls, keeps asking to go back. I have referred friends, and they have been very happy with the results. Parking is a pain, and some times there is a bit of a wait if you are a walk in. But all the stylist, no matter which one you get; are quick and do extremely good work. read more

I've been to this salon many times on and off over the past 2 years. Generally, my experience has always been pleasant, from the customer service to the results of my 3c/4c hair being blown out to perfection. This last experience was just that the LAST. Recently, I went between 530-6 (keeping in mind they close at 7:30) looking to be a wash and blow dry on my relatively short hair... after walking in and stating the service I was looking to get.. I was given a dirty look by one stylist and told they were closed by another. Please keep in mind the owner who I've met on almost all occasions at previous visits wasn't present at the time. I went to my car called the salon number (listed as the owners number on google) explained I was looking to do that service on my short hair but was told they were closed. she then called the salon to speak with the stylists and then called back to tell me I could go in. Initially, while sitting down to wash a good amount of water went down my back more than once...which had never happened before not even once. And yes I was given and holding the tool used to prevent this. Next while getting my blow dry, I was given dirty looks and burned multiple times with no apology (By the woman who initially told me it was closed). I later unwrapped my hair and realized I had a few minor scabs in the one of spots I was burned. My hair even smelled burnt.. I gave this place 2 stars because how good they've always done, but given this most recent experience I wont be coming back. I understand wanting to leave for the day, but it was well before an house of them closing... I ended up leaving before it even got to 7 and they had two other ladies still in the chair. I'd also like to mention I've never seen this stylist before today. read more

In desperate need of a new hair salon, I decided to check this place out. I got my hair done with Carmen and wow....match made in heaven. She did my hair under 30 minutes and my hair lasted me up to 2 weeks! I definitely recommend coming here to get your hair done. She has cut and dyed my hair...and there has never been a disappointment. If Carmen isn't in, I recommended any of the other hair stylists - I have witnessed them do other people's hair as well and it looks amazing. I give this salon 4 out of 5 starts for 2 reasons. This salon is very popular so wait time to get your hair washed during the weekend is a little higher than usual and also this isn't the ideal area to be in at night but other than that I do recommend this place! They also have awesome specials on Tuesday and Wednesday that are very well worth taking a longer lunch for! read more

So, true confession: I get my eyebrows done every 2 months or so...Yes. I get them done regularly, but you'd never know--because ROSANA does them! I never got them done until I met her! She takes her time, pampers you, catches you up on the local gossip and does a great job, so they look perfectly natural! I've heard of people coming from all over Boston and beyond to get their eyebrows done! She also has great salon staff that cut and style hair of all types. Although my results were amazing when I visited Latinos beauty on 10/1/2019. I can't say the same for the after math! I'm currently working my hardest to repair my curls. Due to the fact that too much heat was applied, I lost my curls & I am also dealing with a smell of burnt hair. I've had to take matters into my own hands and apply my own home treatments & oils. I'm still dealing with a minor smell of burnt hair after my 3rd hair wash since October 15. Also my curls are still dead. Worst experience EVER!!! I went into Latino Beauty Salon establishment and shared a picture with the hair dresser of the color I wanted (Auburn) my hair dye and asked her if they carried that color, she said yes and asked me to have a seat, so I did. The conversation was good and it was busy that day, considering the following day was Mother's Day. The hair dresser started to put the chemicals in my hair; what I believed was the coloring, but to my dismay, i looked in the mirror! SHE BLEACHED MY HAIR WITHOUT ASKING ME OR MENTIONING ANYTHING ABOUT IT. I told her, "I did not ask you to bleach my hair I asked you to put a coloring and a set." Her reply was,"the only way you can get the color you want is if I bleach your hair". I told her that I had that color before and my hair was not bleached. Moving forward. Remember I mentioned that I showed her a picture of the color I wanted, however, she dyed it blonde instead of auburn. At that point i lost total confidence in my hair dresser. She had to re-dye my hair. So, my visit consisted of an unauthorized hair bleached, and Two different hair colorings which resulted in TOTALLY DAMAGED HAIR. The price for a haircut, wash and blow dry was great for the style I got. I will definitely visit again. My stylist was Gerry and he is amazing, took him a picture of what I wanted he took one glance at it, and my haircut/hairstyle is exactly that of the picture. Amazing, best haircut I've ever gotten.
