Everything has gone down since covid! Rodrigo is still awesome, but the poor management/communication here has definitely overshadowed all of his good. We were up for a lease renewal and the leasing agent (Amber) tried to have us tour a room that was non existent 507 on the 1277 side. Then went we tried to call the office phone, Amber did not pick up. Frustrated, we came back down and she was like o there is another floor with the same plan, giving me back the same key for the non exsitant apt. I asked her about this and she said it was a master key. which is surprising because I've seen the wall of keys they have for the apartments. we checked out the apartment floorpan and it wasn't for us so we told her we were interested in just ending our lease and looking for a new place. Amber told us we should reconsider and talk to Rachel about our concerns, but she won't be in until Monday (it was saturday 11/28) even though she lives on the premises. Come Monday 11/30 we come on time for the meeting @5pm we had scheduled with Amber but Rachel is already in a meeting with pacific enterprise their corporate office. She didn't have the curtesy, to reach out or let us know he would be busy. Amber tried to defuse the situation, and my frustration by telling me to email them and that they'd get back to me the following day but they have yet to do so. I know I emailed at 3am, but amber assured me they would get back to me the same day. so lets seeee, will update this post once they do. Below are concerned I've asked them to address. Having lived at Latitude37 for over two and a half years, and during this time We've had our car vandalized in the parking garage There have been multiple physical altercations on the 1277 side, where policed were called onsite, including stabbings We have witnessed behaviors of solicitation outside @ 1277 The management has had a turnover rate of at least 4 properties managers in the past 30 months There's been a lack of communication on your end including difficulty reaching the office over the phone since no one picks the calls ever since Carol has left and covid started (we don't remember being notified of the office closure during the beginning of covid). Emails and voicemails have gone unanswered. One of our 2 key fobs didn't work for 3 weeks, when the system reset and the office couldn't be reached by phone, it was very frustrating Lack of communication especially when there were emergency situations (like the water being cut off in March, or back in October when you put a note on our door that water was being shut off at 10am, but then changed it to 8am without posting new notes on our door, or the 2 fire alarms we had during quarantine should have been addressed.) It's also been frustrating that the elevator has been broken at least 4/5 times during quarantine. And was broken for 2 days this past weekend. We live on the fifth floor on the opposite side of the other elevator so this is a huge inconvenience. Every single request I have is done promptly and professionally. THE MOST PROPS to maintenance, Rodrigo and Enrique ~ they ROCK!!!! I can't even quickly explain how appreciative I have been for Rodrigo, and now Enrique. @ Michael - thank you for always getting back to me and being so gracious on the phone. @ Rachel and Amber - haven't needed to talk to them so much (because as said before all is great) but the couple interactions were good! My husband and I are moving within the apartments for our third time. We love upgrades, and this is a community constantly striving to be the best. We love all of the staff, Rodrigo, David and Roberto the maintenance crew are extremely on top of it, and if there is ever an issue they resolve it almost immediately. Jacque, Jags, and Carol run the front office, and they are fun to talk to, and get things taken care of in a timely manner. The new amenities such as the club house, and the kids play room with windows into the gym are one of a kind! We are anxiously awaiting the pool and spa. I just resigned my lease to enter year #2 here at this awesome apartment complex. From the friendly staff to my welcoming neighbors, this community is truly a hidden gem. Nestled behind a Church, and right near Communications Hill you can't beat the location. Also being right next to the 87 freeway in the morning makes it easy for commuting to work. The amenities are top notch, catering to all ages. The new pool and hot tub compliment the large grill set up for fun events and BBQs. The gym is located right near a children's play room where families can enjoy time with their loved ones. All in all, I'm so glad I decided to check this place out! I could go on and on. Scheduled an appointment with Jacqueline, very disappointing she walks out in the middle of conversation (who does that?!)because I brought up complaints from other tenants. I consider that very unprofessional. AC vibrates at night very noisy causes me bad sleeping qualities and she offered to install a ceiling fan in my bedroom no thank you! when it's 90 or 100 degree I think an AC is a must. Anyway, I had no choice but contact her boss and I'm hoping he will be more helpful. We will see. If not, I will do everything possible to get my tenant right! Lived here for 2 years from mid 2015 to mid 2017. Saw two different property managers, the second of whom (Jacque) was much better. There are a number of things to love about Latitude including: - Relatively new units with decent finishes - Gas range in the kitchen - In-unit washer/dryer - Central heating and AC - Proximity to Willow Glen and The Plant Unfortunately, there are plenty of negatives to go with it: - Floors transmit way too much noise from upstairs units and management claims there's nothing that can be done as long as the ruckus is happening outside quiet hours. Shoot for top floor if you can. - Parking is so limited that if you have more than one car for your apartment you will probably have to park 5+ minutes away at the Scottish Rite Center. - The Cathedral of Faith next door is ridiculously loud year-round and at all hours. They have a donation facility that is open 24/7 and there are large trucks, forklifts, and slamming dumpsters at 2am. - Proximity to the VTA Station and subsidized housing means regular visits from colorful characters in the parking lot. - You can count on a visit from SJPD to respond to some sort of illegal activity in the parking lot every 6-9 months. The location is good, but not great. They allow pets, which plenty of folks take advantage of. All in all, the biggest upside to living here other than Jacque herself is that it's relatively cheap for the Bay Area. read more

This review is long overdue. I have lived at latitude for a year now. I live in the 1255 building, 1st floor. The community is great, my neighbors are friendly and we keep an eye on each other. Pet friendly community! The leasing office staff is like family. Carol is magnificent. Always has been caring and genuine. She's super friendly and accommodating. Jags was the previous manager and he too was amazing, always cheerful and warm. Maintenance team is phenomenal, truly. Rodrigo is always available and really helps you when in need of any repairs. Roberto is always smiling and does a great job up-keeping the community. Jorge is always friendly and so helpful with anything you need as well. The new manager is caring and very reasonable, he's a great addition to the team. Like any place, it's what you make of it and contribute as well. There will always be renters who feel entitled because they "pay a lot of money" to live at a luxury community... however they are missing the point, a community is made up of members- not a service. Therefore if we all do our part such as picking up after our pets, etc. There should be no issues such as a few that are noted in other reviews. It's unfair to blame the staff. The amenities are great too! Checkout the website for details. Great place here in Willow Glen. Plenty of guest parking provided next to the property, a bit of a walk but overall impressive that they accommodate guest parking, many other places dO not. I would recommend this community for sure. This place is trash. Look elsewhere. I got a covid deal for rent but prices are currently inflated. They took close to a week to approve my application and approved me one day before the move-in date which slowed down my move-in process. Only 1 parking spot available and the street parking doesn't allow you to park 12am-5am, so you'll be walking 1-2 blocks to your other vehicle. Gave me the wrong parking spot and some other tenant was parking in the correct parking spot, so i ended up having to leave a note saying ill tow unless they move within 24hr.The leasing office only gave me one key fob since they ran out and had to trade keys with my spouse until they got a new supply 3 weeks later. The leasing office never answers the phone. Tenants let their dogs shit everywhere and don't clean it up. 2/3 comcast cables in my unit do not work and had to run a long ethernet cable from downstairs to the loft. 1/5 move-in experience, 3/5 property. They charge $3k+ for a 3 bedroom when you could find a house rental for the same price. **UPDATE** Moved out 12/31 after living there for a year and got charged close to $1400 move out fees. Please consider looking elsewhere unless you want to lose your security deposit and then some! Look at the other reviews where tenants didn't get their deposit back. This place is shady! They use a third party maintenance guy to clean the place up afterwards and charges outrageous prices. $450 heavy cleaning when I swept, vacuumed, and mopped the place. $400 for touch up paint. read more

Really love the apartment we chose, the open floor plan has a really nice flow so you can cook and entertain and not be cut off. Walk in shower is excellent very nice and updated. Love the master bedroom it is massive. Nice size closets in both bedrooms. Loved old management, the Management has changed but the new staff seems genuinely nice and seems to be genuinely trying to make a difference, I have heard that they are really cleaning up the place and making it a safer place to live. Our balcony is wonderful and quite big. Very dog friendly community, most people are very nice. Maintenance guys are awesome and super nice. All in all our experience here was good. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would.  Extremely high rent for very little in return. Twice now that I've had to deal with aggressive dogs coming after my two little dogs because the owners have their dogs off lease! There are other reasons not to move into this horrible place. Daily someone is digging through the garbage cans - waste deep! Water being shut off again to fix a water pipe leak that happened weeks ago! 2 water pumps going out which affected us for days water pipes break - affected us for a week and now longer Lack of communication about this incident when it happened Homeless digging through the garbage Homeless people digging through the smoking area looking for cigarettes Homeless people meandering on the property Dirty smelling hallways and elevator entry People who own dogs are not taking responsibility for cleaning up poop people letting their dogs off the lease. Having to deal with prostitutes when we moved in and watching hookers in the parking lot jump from one car to another! Having prostitutes in our building and God knows what else was going on! Elevators ALWAYS breaking down because there is no management supervision during move in's or move outs. read more

This place has improved since my move-in date. It's under new management, and it's very apparent that they've proven successful in attempting to turn this place around. It's very dog-friendly, though due to COVID-19 the dog park is not open. Rodrigo, the maintenance manager, is fantastic. He goes above and beyond to assist me with installing new lights, plumbing, exchanging appliances, etc and he's extremely professional & knowledgeable. Multiple reasons they get a low rating: 1. They couldn't care less about the $2500 worth of damage my car had after someone ran into it in our parking garage and the careless individual didn't bother leaving a note, great neighbors 2. I asked the office to move my parking space two weeks ago so it doesn't happen again, have heard nothing 3. They closed our parking lot/garage for two days to redo the parking lot and during this, closed the office early so they were unavailable for questions 4. Same day my car was hit, someone else's truck had their back window smashed in and was broken into and the office didn't offer any assistance and couldn't have cared less 5. No guest parking except up a big hill in another businesses parking lot which has "no public parking" signs all over it even though we were told when we signed our lease that guests could get a temporary parking pass while visiting 6. They offer a "pool" but max capacity is 11 people, it's a glorified hot tub 7. They have been saying since we moved in 4 months ago that our top shelf and front door of our dishwasher would be replaced, still hasn't happened hard water everywhere, leaves rings on everything including our coffee maker and our animal's water bowl 8. Any communications they send are confusing and contradictory and each agent in the office gives a different answer when asked about these communications I have been living in apartments my whole life and have NEVER experienced such horrendous management. Now I understand why a place we thought was a "great bargain" ended up being so far under our bidget. You pay for what you get, and in this case it's nothing good. read more

I have really loved living here for the last 6 months. Carol and Jags run the leasing office and they are fantastic. I've never had an issue that wasn't resolved really quickly. It's great to have the new hot tub and pool to relax in. The facilities manager does a great job keeping the property in tip top shape. Best of all, it's pet friendly. This is a construction site, trucks coming and going starting at 7am. As they build "phase 2". This is a construction company trying to make a few bucks with a building that's been sitting done for too long, so they rented it out. They don't care about their tenants. They don't care about the cleanliness. All they care about is getting the construction done. The apartments that are rented out do not enough parking, yet they are still renting units. The grounds are covered with dog poop, so it smells lovely. There have been 3 management shifts in the last year and a half. Each time there are problems with trash, dirty hallways, unmonitored parking lots, etc. Each new manager claims they are "true professionals" yet they can't host an appointment after business hours when a tenant would be home. They quickly fix a few things, but don't keep up with it after; then get back to what's most important, the new building. We've lived here a year and a half its been rough at times, but now it's just horrible. read more

DO NOT COOK IN THIS APARTMENT! Both my girlfriend and I worked long hours but we do enjoy cooking on weekends. When we moved out last month, we were charged $1000 for repainting the wall OF THE ENTIRE APARTMENT due to the cooking grease? This was a bit outrageous to me. We have lived in Avalon, North Park, Irvine Companies and several other similar complexes. I understand that every complexes wants to dip their hands in your security deposit once you moved out and I never complained about any charges, but $1000 for cooking in the kitchen? C'mon. Nothing was burnt or damage, we were two single young professionals cooking grill salmon and fried rice once or twice a week. I uploaded a picture of our kitchen taken 2 weeks before we moved out, so you can see the "damage" that costed us $1000. Bottom line, if you plan to cook, this is not the apartment for you. On the positive note, the management is always very friendly and helpful, and the complex is very dog friendly and things gets fixed pretty quickly around here if broken. A few additional pros and cons: Pros: - Gated garage with security camera - 24 hour gym - Complex is located in a dead-end road between 2 churches, low traffic, "feels safe" - No pet rents! very dog friendly. - Free cookies at the leasing office Cons: - A shortage of parking spaces, if you come home after 8pm and doesn't have a reserved parking spot, you have to be creative. - There are a few irresponsible dog owners in the complex who never cleans up after their dogs. Never found out who they were though. - Gym only has 1 treadmill and 1 elliptical - The management told us there were more amenities planned (swimming pool) in the land right in front of the complex, never happened, never even started. - I have heard from several neighbors there were break-ins in the gated garage as well as bike thieves, which is why the "feels safe" is in quotations above, but I never encounter anything myself, so as far as I am concerned, my stay there was safe. - Again, EXCESS deduction on the security deposit, has to mention it again because I can't get over how outrageous that was. the $1000 was in addition to the cleaning fees and carpet cleanings fees. Overall, at this point, I probably wouldn't recommend this complex to my friends weight all the pros and cons. There are just too many luxury complexes in San Jose and south bay in general at their price point to put up with all the bad things that comes with the apartment. And almost none of them will surprise you with a hefty bill after you move out. If location is acceptable, checkout some of the luxury apartments in North San Jose, north park, crescent village, river vier, river mark, apex and etc, there are also quiet of few of them in downtown san jose. All of them are at the same price point with more amenities and friendly staffs. Although most of of them will charge $35/month pet rent. read more

Latitude 37 - Our kitchen taken 2 weeks before we moved out. Management charged us $1000 for excess grease in the entire apartment from cooking. - Apartments Near Me - San Jose, California

This is not the place to live if you expect good management, reasonable hours or professional results when there is an issue. I moved out the end of October, paid a crew to clean the place and it was spotless. I hung one picture and organizers in each bathroom (there is absolutely NO STORAGE in the apartments). They charged excessive amounts from my deposit -- even claiming I OWED THEM at one point (which I'm still questioning) for supposed damage. The last month I was there, the manager quit and we had no dependable coverage. I had discussed a walk-thru with the previous mgr, but I had to call the emergency number to find out what to do when I left as no one contacted me or furnished me with documentation/info of any kind. No walk through (closed weekends and MANY times during the week without any notice). Friends that are still there plan to leave as soon as their leases are up. People are nice. But management, upkeep was awful. As you can see from my pics, the place was left clean. I sent several emails and the manager selectively answered. So if after my next email,I get nothing, off to Small Claims we go. read more

It would be a good here, but: - Not enough parking for residents (don't know what to do here unless build more parking spaces) - No parking for visitors (same as above, but also there could be a permission from city obtained to let visitors park on the Masonic Dr. 24/7) - Noisy construction nearby (I understand it is a construction, but can they start working as late as possible? Does not have to be 7am, right?) - Very noisy Church across the fence. Leaf blowers may start as early as 6am. EVEN ON WEEKENDS! Or their warehouse may start loading/offloading things very early or very late. I don' understand, why the noise level law does not apply here... Other than above that kills it - the actual apartments are like new. If and when the above issues will be resolved, I will change my review, but for now, it is what it is. Jacque is a great manager, but she is not able to solve these problems without the help from the headquarters. So please people stop blaming the manager. read more

420 Zone. I live in a home next to these apartments/condos and have had a good experience with its property manager and tenants. The 3 stars is for the weekly talks I must have with pot smokers burning a refer or hitting their Bong in the smoking area. We can smell it come through the windows and my kids play in front of our house. If someone has a medical marijuana card that's fine for themselves, in their apartment, but people just smokin out in a common area where children play is not good. I wonder what's going to happen when the new construction is done and this smoking bench is next to the playground and pool? BTW: this is the only known "pot zone" in the entire community, not even Canoas Park/school up the street has this problem. read more

Im pretty happy with the complex overall and the rent is the right price. But 2 stars for NO PARKING! Not even street parking. How can you rent out apartments without providing parking? My roomie and I have a 2bd/2ba and we only have one parking spot in the garage b/t is. Forget about inviting people over! The upstairs guest parking now requires resident permits, but is first come first serve and fills up fast. If we both get home after 730, one of us has to park at the VTA station 2 blocks away. Nice apartment, poor management. Management was helpful while trying to get us to sign the lease, however, immediately after signing it, they completely ignore any time we reach out. On several occasions, they blatantly ignore emails from us (for weeks/months) even when we follow up. It is clear management does not care about their tenants, but rather just care to fill empty apartments, as they are constantly in the office allowing people to come do self-guided tours. Additionally, none of the amenities are opened in the complex, even outdoor spaces like the dog area are locked with a padlock. read more

I miss Jacque. She's the former apartment manager. I'm impressed how courteous and professional she is. She's willing to work with tenants to ensure that they're comfortable and happy living here. I feel that the Rafaela (new manager) is working hard to get rid of old tenants and replace them with new residents. Here's my objective review: PROS - Maintenance (Rodrigo and team) is responsive to all calls. - I like our floor plan. I've toured and considered other 2-3 BR of L37 with awkward layout. - Nice location. - Pet friendly (comes with downside, see comment below) - Offers concession or move in bonus. Beware!!! This is how they get you. Be VERY CAUTIOUS about this "DEAL". CONS (I'll try my best not to comment to things they can't control) - Expensive! This is definitely the high range in the Willow Glen area. We moved here because my partner has zero tolerance for carpets. - Glorified bath tub is called "swimming pool". This is unfunny joke. Even ghetto apartments have swimming pools at least 3X of this. - "Free coffee?" I swing by 2x per week in the hope of getting coffee. I hardly get free coffee. - They charge $50/hour to reserve the clubhouse. - Gym? There's hardly any people in the gym because it has limited free weights and inefficient machines. They even locked in down for Covid 19 instead of limiting users to 3 or 4 at a time. I don't use it because I belong to a couple of upscale gyms and boxing studio. - Is this laminate or fake softwood floor. It gets easily scratched. We're either barefooted or wear socks at home. We don't have any sharp objects. We have thick area rugs and still gets deep scratches. I'm sure they'll charge us arm and leg when we move out next year. - Very restrictive to almost non existing parking. Most tenants are paying in the range of high $3K and high $4K and can't even park in the garage. - Not guest friendly due to parking situation. Only 1 car allowance per unit. We even paid extra parking for one more car. - We're paying premium rent and we can't even get secured garage parking. Even with several empty garage space as most tenants already moved out. Per Rafaela, the vacant spots are designated for certain apartment numbers! - Poorly designed parking lot. It's too narrow and again (limited) parking space. - Almost all residents here are new. I understand that it's newish building. I've had several neighbors who wants to break their lease for various reason. - Many tenants don't follow pet rules. Most parts of the apartment smells like dog pee. Poor Rodrigo can't catch up with cleaning. - The wing of my apartment is very noisy coming from the church. It's actually within their control. A high quality materials will soundproof the walls the walls. - I heard too many complaints about the noise level from neighbors with occupants above them. This is NON issue with me UNTIL somebody above me moved in. OMG!!! It's constant non stop River Dance, tap dancers, Cirqeu du Soleil dress rehearsals especially during the Covid lock down. I have to mute my zoom when I'm not speaking because it's really bothersome. - Rafela's team are very slow to respond. Blame Covid 19, right? They're still working on 1-18, maybe? I really need to remind myself why I contacted them by the time I get their reply. - I oftentimes smell 420 in the hallway, elevators and parking lots and garage. Again, this is outside the control of management. - I've heard and read complaints about drug dealers and hookers but haven't seen any. Maybe I'm just naive. I've seen and talked to some of my neighbors with "party" outfits going out on late nights and waiting for ride share. I don't want to judge my neighbors. Hey, gotta the rent. I used to wonder why almost all of my neighbors that I talked to indicated they're intention of NOT renewing their lease. It all makes sense now. No wonder why they so many vacant units. read more

I love this place! I went to see it with my partner and Carol showed us around. I love the little details and the vibe is awesome. Carol was so funny and we all hit it off right away. I was a little hesitant about moving into a complex/building but she really opened my eyes to the amazing amenities they have to offer. Been contemplating posting this review for awhile but too much is happening to not. So a couple weeks ago I was harassed in the garage, I informed the "property manager" so then responds to call our security (which security cannot do anything since they arrive at 10:30 pm and this happened at 5:30). The "property manager" Rachel, didn't ask any further questions in regards to my being harassed, I pointed it out in our next email and she responded with "I failed to mention" details? Excuse me? As the property manager isn't it your job to do an investigation? Flash to today 7/9/2020, there was a male urinating in the flower bushes who is another tenant here. Called the office no answer. With all of that, theres Dirty, rude loud tenants. They leave trash everywhere in the hallways for days. Management doesn't seem to care as nothing gets done. We've had our water turned off multiple time for days and no rent comped. Moved in a year and a half ago with promised of EV charging spaces and they still haven't been installed. They have us plug our car into electric ports (normal outlets) that burn out-now they've put a two hour limit on the plugs.. the 5 star reviews are fake. All the good tenants have moved out because they're so sick of this apartment. The building I have lived in is less that 2 years old and everything is already falling apart. It's built so poorly we call this place "luxury on a budget" they may look "nice" but don't be fooled. The first floor always smells like swamp trash and it's repulsive. They usedI've asked Rachel multiple times for her bosses number as she gets nothing done. I spoke with her on the phone a couple weeks ago and all she did was lie saying "I'm the first property manager to ever live here" which is false.. two other managers lived on site. 5 people in two years (only two people work on this property at a time) have left because this place is a joke. We've been through a prostitution ring here, drug deals, bloody knife fights to name a few. At least when Carol was here she seemed to have things get done. The new ladies Stephanie and Rachel are horrible, rude and flakey. Do not move here unless you want to suffer. I will update this review if anything else happens. UPDATE: move here if you want screaming children running down the halls all night. I was told the DISTRICT manager was going to reach out to me, but no response. This place is a joke. I have been living here since 2014! So far, I like this apartment, office staffs and especially maintenance team!! They all are really care about residents and very reliable! Whatever happen to your unit, no worry! Maintenance team is right there to help:) Office staffs are very friendly as well. Anything related to lease, parcel, concerns, they take action immediately to solve the problem. All are very friendly and I love them:) They all have been making me feel "HOME". I am a current resident of latitude 37 and have been living here for a little 6 months. I know most people only post a review when there's a problem so I wanted to take the time to post while things are going well. In my short time here I have had several conversations with management about the things I like and things I'd like to see happen and have gotten nothing but open ears and welcoming smiles. I am happy to report that since moving here I haven't had a problem with noise, privacy, vehicle break ins, or any of the issues I endured while living in Santa Clara. I appreciate having a peace mind and knowing my family is safe while I'm hard st work. Keep up the good work!! read more

Im grateful to have lived at Latitude 37. I was one of the first few tenants to sign up in early '14. It wasn't even called Latitude 37 at the time. Who cares about that.. the management and staff were trying to fill the place up and it wasn't easy for them due to the design and pricing structure. PROS: Brand new units * Located near Willow Glen and 87/85 Nice carpet and laminate entry ways and kitchen Granite countertops Granite shower Nice tile in bathroom Huge master bathroom dual sinks Friendly and competent management and maintenance crew. BBQ pits were a great addition. I put them to good use. Elevators and trash chutes Lighting under cabinets in the kitchen Brand new appliaces (GE) and Gas ranges! Despite some flaws, the units look nice inside CONS: Outside looks odd. Massive towers with poor sunlight Walk score not great. (nowhere cool to walk to) Pets out of control due to owners (mgmt had to warn us all several times) Closed in feel in the Units due to design. You can look straight across to your neighbors window in the courtyard units Lack of natural lighting in most units (we had our lights on all day) Residents leaving garbage everywhere Corporate's lack of improving the known quirks inside the units such as the lack of a drawer in the bathrooms as well as lack of a drawer in the kitchen wide enough to hold a silverware tray. (very odd). No cabinet space big enough for pots and pans to fit easily. (should have installed "lazy susans" or whatever they are called in every unit by now. Bathrooms could use those little flip down drawers for toothpaste etc. How about adding medicine cabinets? Surely they have the money to do so by now. Kids and dogs have no where to play or go. (sad) Only two layouts have an actual spot for a kitchen table. (We passed on another unit with natural light for a unit with a spot for a table My car was broken into once due to lack of security and broken gate. (corporate decision -- they had security when we moved in although the guy would just sleep in his car outside) Not a residential area. No park to walk to close by. Must drive everywhere even to the convenient store. The cons have zero to do with the staff. The place was designed in an odd location and they didn't maximize the space or design it to its potential. Hopefully for the people that live there in the future, they will complete phase 2 with the pool etc and work out all the little quirks inside the units. The staff was actually what made this place cool to live at. They were more than reasonable about all issues. They had a few little socials and even wine tasting on a couple thursdays last summer. That was kool. They really made an effort to make it a real community. Its up to the tenants to respond and come together. I met a lot of cool people there. Corporate needs to stop acting like its a top notch property and continue to give out deals because for $2500+ for a 2 bedroom/ no natural light/ no storage/ no pool/ sub par gym and a parking shortage people should take their cash elsewhere. Let's face it, we all ended up at Latitude 37 for one reason or another. Don't complain when you were more than happy to move in! I know I was. Latitude 37 served us well for the year we were there. We made the best of it anyways. We will always remember this little spot. It provided a spot when we really needed one. read more

Life here has gotten better since my last review. The problems that lead to a one star review have either been resolved or are actively being tended to. We now have a big parking lot to use for extra cars and guest. There is security walking around. (Not that it's really needed, just nice to have.) The maintenance men do a fantastic job or keeping the building and grounds clean. They are also great at fixing anything that breaks. Jacque is a really good office manager. Once you get to know her, you can tell that she really cares about this property and the people that call it home. read more

Love this place! Dog friendly, underground parking, A/C and laundry in the unit. Also, convenient location in Willow Glen near freeways, dining and downtown. Property Manager is GREAT, not that I've had to ask for much but anytime I've requested a repair or information she responds promptly and completely. She genuinely cares about tennants comfort and safety. They provide on site security patrols as well. Other tennants have been friendly and respectful, especially other dog owners, we've had no issues with aggressive animals or owners. Looking forward to when phase 2 is complete and the pool/hottub are open. Grounds are kept clean and landscaped and there is an adjunct neighborhood which is perfect for dog walking. I have 2 dogs and it's always a challenge to find a suitable place where we are all happy, but we've found it here! read more

We ended up not moving in here due to a job relocation, but Carol our rental agent was great....very helpful through the entire process. She definitely went above and beyond to accommodate us and was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The apartments are great with the wood floors and the layouts, particularly the kitchens are highly unusual to come across in an apartment, at least in the 2 bedroom models we were considering. We wouldn't hesitate to rent here at all from what we saw during our tours and my interactions with Carol. read more
