My first apartment! My first love of a home! I absolutley loved my apartment, everything about it. I rented an apartment in 2019 and the 800 sq ft place came with a washer and dryer, 1 bedroom, one spacious living room, a massive bathroom (it was a handicap apartment) and, a nice little kitchen. The parking was not closed in, and a parking permit was required, it was also first come first serve aside from your 1 designated roof top parking spot. Managment was always in close communication with me regarding any concerns I had. Porsha, was always checking in assuring everything was running smoothly in the apartment and James and Noe were always fixing any little home issues we had within the day placed. We moved in a month ago and the team here at Verde have been just absolutely amazing. Fardeen, Farhad, Porsha, Carey have been absolutely amazing through the entire move in process. Fardeen was extremely helpful in ensuring the lease signing and all the move in process was smooth. He has been very responsive for any queries and also made sure we had all the details and documents needed. The apartment and the community are also super friendly and quiet. We had a few fixes which had to be requested post move in but Porsha, Carey have been very quick in addressing these. I also wanted to give a big thanks to Farhad who has been absolutely amazing in all the work that had to be taken care on priority. He has been very quick to address these and also in giving an ETA on things which had to be planned. Overall, It has been a really good experience here and hoping the same continues. read more

We have moved in and for a month and a half we have not been able to get our cable TV working. 3 trips out from Comcast and the line that feeds the apartment is bad. The management teams keep pointing fingers at each other and now won't even return a call. This process should be simple but they are making so difficult. If you don't mind having almost zero support then feel free to move in here. But if you want to have support from your management you should find somewhere else to live. This place is a scam. I waited outside for 40 minutes even though I had a SCHEDULED tour, it was 90 degrees outside. The door was locked during business hours and no one answered the door. I called the number thats on the door and got a hold of someone and told me someone was going to meet me outside and they never showed. If safety is a priority for your family and yourself PLEASE stay far away from this complex. I am a single mother with two little girls living on the bottom floor in the Verde apartments. When I first moved in Porsha the manager let me know she was there 5 days a week and was so kind and hands on. She moved out of the complex and I guess the safety of the complex no longer matters as she's no longer a resident. For days I've been hearing screaming and yelling right outside my window and as I had a new couple move in upstairs I figured it was them. Well today the screaming came with slamming and crashing and someone yelling "b****" and other threats. I was really uneasy but I know that I live alone and I'd hope someone would check on me if they suspected a domestic situation. I walked out and around to see if I could see what was going on. To my surprise it was not a neighbor, but a houseless man living inside of the utility closet about a yard and a half from my window. I took a video very fast of him throwing things then my kids turned the corner and I panicked and shiver them back. Well he heard us. And threw a huge rock at me. At this point my kids and myself are Hysterical I put them in my house locked all the doors and ran the long way to the office. They had made a big deal about added security and put up stickers and signs everywhere. Well when I arrived at the office a maintenance man who saw how upset I was let me know there's no actual on site security and Management actually is only in for a few hours on Friday. He saw how panicked I was and told me to call management which I did, what I think was an assistant answered and said management couldn't talk with me and they were in a meeting when I told him it was an emergency and someone assaulted me he passed the phone to Porsha, word for word I said "There is a man living out of a utility closet, there's no security here, he threw something at me and my children, I'm so f***ing upset I don't know what to do" the next words she said weren't to me but I could hear them she handed the phone to the assistant and said "she's too loud and cussing I'm not dealing with her just get her information and tell her we'll call her back later" I was in shock yes I was panicked and talking very fast and loud but in those circumstances I'm not sure who wouldn't be. Hearing my kids scream then cry, and hide, me being "so f***king upset" seemed like a reasonable response to me. I had to have my father drive over and pick us all up and check the utility closet himself which had now been vacated. My father a Black man did not feel comfortable calling the cops and Neither did I after all there was supposed to be onsite security. He took me to his home where I am now staying with my children. I went on MyEquity an app where neighbors communicate on a chat board and posted a warning for everyone along with the pictures. Well then I noticed that there are more than one complaints from residents about a person ON THEIR PATIOS which have to be climbed into, and that their tools were missing and were found in a utility closet. Dating back from JUNE, it's now late July. I'm putting up photos of these posts for you all to see. Single women PLEASE do not move here couples with children PLEASE do not move here, really anybody who doesn't want to deal with something like this, STAY AWAY because management will not help, there is no security, and there are constant fights and situations like this where management puts the burden on you to do their job and manage it. If you're not comfortable with cops or calling the cops, or just do not feel like having to call cops constantly (cause this kind of thing DOES happen constantly) do not move here. I've worked for homeless shelters, done crisis intervention, trained in crisis deescalation, and mixed martial arts and I still am constantly stressed about protecting my children in this complex. I've never been so brushed off by any kind of leadership as I have by management whose paycheck is made up of the rent is residents pay. I'm not sure if it was because I've made several complaints about the quality of the apartments (which has been poor since I moved in) or if Porsha just didn't have the time or empathy or care in the world to deal with a panicked resident, but I work with people every day and have never and would never respond to an assault the way she did. Be careful living here,high crime, homeless everywhere especially at night,these apartments are not what they seem,trust me!! Be aware of the apt manager (Pam) She'll act like a good friend untill you move in here then you'll see her true colors,even the maintenance man quit his job due to two faced people that are Thier, NO PARKING at all you'll have to park around the corner or even farther,alot of car theft,had my car broken into twice,told Pam she said nothing she can do about it to call my insurance company,the security drives around one time a night they say 2 but I don't believe it even if he or she does there in n out quickly,it's a joke, cockroaches yes I said cockroaches Thiers two different kinds here big ones and little one if you don't believe go Thier before you move in and look around by the edge of the grass you'll see for yourself,tons of them,the people that live here are really nice lots of friendly people to bad the manager has to be so nasty,two faced!! Please read EVERYTHING if you're considering Verde. My boyfriend and I moved here because it was nearby his old place (The Woods) we were in a rush to find a place and this place accepted dogs. Since we were in a rush we chose this place, Suree Marley the manager is two faced! She assured us that the new apartment (we chose) would be EXACTLY (Yes, EXACTLY) like the one WE SAW on the tour, guess what we're halfway through the lease signing and we get to our 'new' apartment it has CARPET everywhere and a shitty patio you can see through your neighbors patio! (what great privacy) This carpet is so CHEAP we feel no difference if we were to walk on the sidewalk with no shoes! HUGE mistake! We have been here since Feb. 2015 and absolutely HATE IT! As soon as we moved in we had some crack head white family next to us, ALWAYS FIGHTING, CURSING and it was ALWAYS outside right in between our doors! After a few months they moved out and now we have new neighbors that are walking up and down the stairs like their lives depend on it, it feels like an earthquake and it gets our alert dog, a Pomeranian all riled up because he's also probably thinking "What the fuck is this???" Bugs, you name it we've seen it. Spiders, silverfish, beatles, roaches, it is never ending and absolutely disgusting! You can keep your place spot less clean and they will still be swarming into your home. Laundry is so tiny you'd have to go somewhere else just to wash your blankets. Walls (OH, one of the most important things!) super thing, you can hear EVERYTHING your lovely neighbors are doing! Listening to Rihanna? Oh cool, now we can listen with you! Flushing your toilet? Now we know you're done pooping! Thinking? Now we can think with you, it's alright, now it's like we're roommates! NOT only are we not having any privacy but so are our neighbors not having any! Bathroom is small and just as bad as everything, we have a noisy fan we keep off because it's so loud. Cabinets and drawers are CROOKED. Not only are our electrical sockets crooked, we can't even plug in our phones to charge without it constantly slipping out! Oh guess what else is crooked, our dishwasher! YAY! (That was sarcasm in case you didn't notice) Maintenance man, he's OK, friendly, his hours were like 9am to 4pm (so much for 24/7 maintenance they mentioned to us in the beginning) Whoever did our apartment in '2 days' according to management did a TERRIBLE job with paint. They repaint over EVERYTHING. Dogs, there are your occasional unleashed dogs here, one even chased us and tried to attack our dog until the Hispanic family noticed and took their dog away, no apologies or anything. People here are friendly for the most part, although 80% of them look sketchy. The lowest of the low live here. If you don't get that I mean people so low in income (trashy people) that they need to have all their family members live with them to complete 1 month's rent. Speaking of rent, overpriced. Parking can be crowded on certain days. Mailbox, people have broken into everyone's mail box and took some things from people. The worst thing about this place is the break-ins! -We've had strange men (Hispanic/White men) knock on our door during all silent hours (4am, 9pm, etc.) and would not leave our place for awhile then stand on our staircase and chat. (Note: the knocking's have happened quite frequently every other day or so) Well not too long after i'd say the next day our car got broken into, great! According to management the same thing has been happening to other neighbors but not all. Security, you have to call if something happens and usually takes 15 minutes, cool! This is what everyone's money pays for, why not just have him roam around 24/7? Seriously, this complex NEEDS 24/7 security! It's such a shame this place does not seem to care about the safety of others. We always get 'call security' or 'call 911' from management, we can do that, but that won't stop anyone from doing it again. It is NEVER "we will improve security and add gates" , now we have to deal with defending ourselves and being paranoid because this complex rather have blood on their hands than to invest in security more or creating a gate. All management is good for is apologizing and telling us to email if we have any questions or concerns. This place makes 'The Woods' look good and we cannot wait until our lease ends, don't move here if you want a safe, cheap place! **Dear Company, you can't keep removing my review, I will only put it back up to warn others. read more

Verde is the absolute worst place to live! Do everything you can to avoid living here. I have lived in several apartment complexes throughout my life, and Verde is the only place I have absolutely hated living at. If you like peace and quiet this is not the place for you. Our neighbors were so loud all the time, and we complained to management constantly, and they did nothing. The noise level was so bad that I couldn't sleep at night, and working from home was extremely difficult. Things got so bad that I had to leave and break the lease. And when I told management I had to leave because the place was uninhabitable, they disagreed and charged me thousands of dollars. They also took the security deposit, and claimed the apartment was a mess and it was for cleaning fees. This was even after we did a walkthrough and they said it looked great and there was nothing wrong. Then a couple days later they wrote up a bill with all these cleaning fees they never mentioned until after the walkthrough. I am furious that they took my deposit for cleaning fees because I spent hours cleaning up, and the apartment was definitely clean. I have also never lost a security deposit before. Verde is the only place greedy enough to take my security deposit. Also the apartment itself was substandard. The toilet ran all of the time, and no one would ever fix it. Only about half of the electrical outlets worked, and never got fixed. Also there was no ventilation in the bathroom, and it got so steamy in the bathroom after showers that mildew, and possibly mold, started to grow. Also management is pretty useless. The management is so lazy, and is literally never in the office. The management is in the office like an hour a day, and difficult to get ahold of when there are issues. I would give Verde 0 stars, if possible. Also many of the 5 star reviews are fake and written by the management. Please do not live here under any circumstances. You will regret it. read more

Nice well kept place. Not too many units. Not enclosed, so open to trespassing thieves. Myself and others have been burglarized during the day while at work. Management did nothing to assist in helping and were going to charge a fee for relocating to a different unit. NOT GOOD SERVICE! The rental fees are on the high end even if you get a 2-bed place. Month-to-month rate is even higher. A friend of mine lived there for less then one month but left because of rodent problems. I didn't have this issue but told him it could have been from the neighbors or previous tenenat not being clean. I only stayed one year because the monthly shot up over $100. This place looks nice from the outside though. read more

Lived here for 1 month. I had to move out because of a pest issue (roaches). Management is not responsive once you sign your lease. They also charged me $150 for cleaning after one month and I left the roach filled apartment spotless. I would not recommend you move here. read more

Wish I could give this tacky overpriced place a zero but a one will have to do. RENTERS BEWARE! The place is decent at a passing glance but, once you move in, you see the horribly spackled over used apartments for the shams they are. About a week after moving in, we noticed the outside lights hanging off, the closest doors that continuously come of the tracks, the baseboards that aren't fully attached, and the showers that don't drain leaving a three inch puddle while bathing just to mention a few things. Now let's talk about "service." Had to call for maintenance four times for the same issue, but in the end gave up because the maintenance man, yes there is just one, didn't seem to be able to fix anything that would last longer than a week. The office staff is only good for apologizing for all the things gone wrong. And by apologizing I mean rambling on and making excuses instead of getting things done. There are constantly construction workers around doing more lousy work to lure more occupants because they can't seem to keep people living here longer than their initial lease. Also they leave their supplies everywhere so not very safe if you have children. The only saving grace to my lease is that it is only nine months verses a year of trying to live in this dump. read more

Be very careful when signing a contract with them ... they will violate all your renters rights ... they will take Ur deposit and not give u appropriate summaries or receipts as stated by law ... there management is crappy she never had an answer ... they sent us to collection not even 30 days later for the owed amount after they took my deposit. .. not only that the manager was supposed to call her upper management to fix the pricing issue and instead she sent me to collection... .. they made us replace there carpets .. when they aren't supposed to ..ESPECIALLY THE MANAGER ... specials are a bunch of bull CRAP tooo ... Don't bother with this place. This was my family's first home for 2 years and decided to leave because we were tired of almost getting run over by the reckless drivers living in this place (note to future residents: careful with the lady that drives the maroon jetta! She will run you and your kids over because she's always in a rush!) Nonetheless, the everyday aroma of WEED (we can't even leave our windows open to get fresh air due to that and the motherfucker downstairs smoking every 10 minutes!) The workers there are only nice when you are living there but wait until you decide to leave. They will do whatever they can to keep your deposit and on top of that they will send you a statement that you owe them! Workers there come and go like hoes at the verde. Every time you walk in the leasing office, it's a new person like every other day or something! I was warned by other residents that left this place and not to my surprise! Hello bill!
