Found my Sunday Funday Spot! I've been to latitude at Stony point a few times but never realized their happy hour specials that are 7 days a week. What a great way to wind down the day or week. Service was phenomenal! Between Amber and Shawn you will want to return just off their energy. Great Customer Service; personalities; attentiveness and suggestions. It was like talking to someone I've known for years. The food came out fast but also hot and fresh. We tried the Oysters which were huge; lime jalapeño wings; old bay lemon pepper wings; the emperial dip and fries. Everything was soooo good! For the wings and fries alone I'm going back this Sunday. Tuesdays used to be my go-to for tacos here, but this visit was a little disappointing. Prices seem to have gone up while the quality dipped--my steak tacos came out not hot, and even the honey sriracha wings, while full of flavor, weren't hot either . My family and I absolutely love this restaurant! I typically do not care for crab cakes or hush puppies but theirs are so good. From those to the seafood pasta and wings, I've never had a meal or drink I didn't enjoy at this establishment and the service is always amazing. Visited here recently for the 2nd time and had lunch. I ordered the fish and chips with brewed iced tea. The fish (haddock) was cooked perfectly and the breading was light, crispy and seasoned well. They serve their "side-winder fries" with it. They were so good, buttery potato flavor and because of the way the potatoes are cut, they're crispy. The homemade tartar sauce was maybe the best ive ever had. Our waiter was kind and professional. The bar area is nice but I sat at a comfortable booth. Nice decor, very clean, and bright. To be fair, I'm a landlubber not a seafarer... I've been to several locations of Latitude, and this one is cozier than the others. The dècor is sleek and nautical without being overdone. The service was average, our server wasn't a bit curt. I come here with friends because they love Latitude, so I come for the hang. I typically get fries or something. Today on the front board, one of the specials was loaded mashed potatoes... that sounded right up my alley. But when I ordered it, the server said it wasn't available. I suggested they update the menu board at the entrance. The shrimp tacos with the fixins are my all-time favorite and are consistently good and SUPER sized. Since I last visited (close toa year ago), they have started serving hushpuppies (instead of bread) as a table starter. They are SO fluffy and flavorful with the (cinnamon?) butter, giving a perfect balance of sweet and spicy. I am a frequent diner at Latitudes Stony Point. Have always highly recommended to anyone I speak with when they are in the area. Tonight has been the most horrible service. We made a reservation, arrived on time, was seated on time but it took the waitress 15 minutes to come to the table and that was after I went to the front desk to let them know we had not been waited on. The waitress apologized when she finally came over. We ordered everything at once and she then went to 4 other tables that had their food (by the way) and spent another 13 minutes before going to even put in our order including drinks. I went to latitude seafood with some friends for a birthday celebration. When we got there, the hose were so welcoming, even though we had a large party. They showed us where the facilities were and insured us that they would get with us as soon as possible. This allowed us for a time to Check out the restaurants amenities. When we were seated in the event space, we were seated quickly and efficiently. We were assigned two servers who were absolutely fantastic. They took out orders efficiently offered us drinks and bought those things out quickly. After making the food choices we did some games while we waited for our food to arrive Shortly after, we received our salads and our drinks The salad came out super fresh and it seemed like it was prepared singularly. I asked for the dressing on the side and they honored my request. The chicken Riviera was prepared perfectly. The chicken was moist and juicy, and the brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes came out and were flavorful as well. I would recommend anyone wanting to celebrate any event to come to the space and enjoy the food. It did take a long time for our server to make herself known to us. When she did arrive to our table, the customer service was great considering how busy it was. Happy hour menu was priced well with a good selection of food and beverage options. I ordered the sweet chili chicken wings, catfish bites and oysters Rockefeller with a sangria and everything was good and seasoned well. Had a wonderful dinner at Latitudes on 1/18/26. Great cocktails. My wife had a delicious espresso martini and I had a key lime something. Don't remember the name but it was tasty. WOW!!!! I am absolutely thrilled to have found Latitude Seafood. What an amazing experience. We were out looking at the tacky light displays in Richmond and found this gem. We were originally planning to go to another restaurant when this caught my eye and we looked at the menu. I am truly grateful we decided on Latitude. The service and the food was fantastic!!! Starting with the tots and honey butter which was pure deliciousness!!! I had to take the butter home. The shrimp nachos appetizer was delicious!! We enjoyed every bite. I decided on the Mahi Rockefeller and the crab Mac and cheese and the Brussels for my sides. Absolutely cooked to perfection. I had my left overs this evening and it was almost as good as last night.
