The place is welcoming, there is plenty of seating, the staff seem a little new but they took good care of us, and the Cappuccino's and the Panini's were delicious!

The baristas were so accommodating of our many questions. Delicious food and coffee. We will be back.

Coffee is excellent and the biscuits with egg, cheese, and bacon or sausage are really good. The baked goods look yummy, do we will definitely come back. Service is very friendly and cozi country Cafe appeal on the main square. Solid place to stop in.

A snapshot of life at "Latte"...

Latte is a local legend. There is something for everyone here...great coffee and food, great service from the staff, and an atmosphere conducive to quiet study (my favorite) or friendly conversation. It is everything you want in a cafe...

I was driving on TX Highway 71 on my way from Austin to Houston when I saw a Latte Cafe sign just outside La Grange. I needed a good cup of coffee and some food so I decided to take a short break from driving. The cafe is about 2 miles from the exit. The cafe is located across the street from the La Grange City Hall and Courthouse. It's a cozy place with several tables, a couple of high-tops, and a sofa near the front door. There are several bottles of sanitizer available and everyone I saw who came in wore a face mask. The barista was friendly. She suggested I try the breakfast bowl. The breakfast bowl was a spinach salad with bacon and cheese. It was pretty tasty. I ordered a latte with latte art. The latte was also delicious. The latte art was not very fancy but the barista did confess that she was a little rusty with her art. She gets an A for effort! There is also a huge selection flavored syrups for any coffee drink you order. They have a commercial coffee bean grinder that could make many different grinds for many types of coffee. I'm pretty sure they can make any coffee drink that you want. The cafe has a good vibe. It seems like a nice, comfortable place to have a nice coffee with a friend or to study.

This was the perfect spot for a quick bite during a road trip! The grilled cheese hit the spot and was oozing four types of cheese at the best temperature. The energy ball had a great amount of nuttiness and sweetness to appease my sugar craving. The pasta was light and appetizing and did not distract from the main meal. I highly recommend this cafe. Their menu can satisfy anyone who needs a quick pick me up.

The staff were so sweet and the coffee was a great pick me up on our trip from Austin to New Orleans! Love it!!

My TBA sandwich (I ordered without avocado) w/chips. Tasted good, but wasn't toasted as a panini so cheese and everything inside was cold.

Amazing coffee and the Green Monster smoothie is great. Their ice cream is the best ice cream in La Grands. Their service is super fast.

Fast service and nice people but it s not really a place I'll go back. Very old building, food ok, a bit too heavy and greasy.

I usually call in our order when we are about 20 minutes away from our stop. Everytime I call in the order the person on the other end is friendly and repeats back what we order. The convenient store part of Hruska's has a lot of items that you can choose from to purchase and they have clean bathrooms which is a positive. When we get there we park, walk in and head to pick up our food at the counter. It's usually labeled with the ticket stapled to the bag. We then get in line to pay for our food. The line is usually backed up but moves fairly quickly. There is also a small area with tables and chairs that you can sit at and enjoy your meal or sit there if you need a rest. For my meal I usually order a Hamburger which comes with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onions. I usually get mine with mustard. Their burgers are so good and a good size. Overall Hruska's is a great stopping place while traveling. Whether it's for gas, a bathroom break, or if you want to grab something to eat this is a one stop shop place.

Arguably one of the greatest foods ever invented. Atleast in my world. How can you go wrong with bread filled with sweet or savory fillings? Hruska's is about halfway between Houston and Austin and a perfect rest stop to fill up on gas, use the clean facilities, grab a snack or indulge in their amazing baked goods. They are steeped in history and have been around for decades passing along the family recipes. It's obviously improved structurally over the years from a country store and looks like a modern gas station now. It's always pretty busy every time I have stopped in, but they are a well oiled machine and keep the masses moving with excellent customer service. They have all your gas station essentials like snacks and beverages. What sets them apart is their bakery. Here, they label their kolaches as the traditional fruit filled variety. I like them, but they are never my first choice. I love the ones with meat inside. Here, they label these as pigs in a blanket. They have a large variety of both. I usually go for a regular sausage and cheese, but over here, they sell a delicious pan sausage kind. On top of all their sweet and savory baked goods, they also sell burgers on the grill. Their burgers have made it to the Texas Monthly Top 50 burger spots. I have yet to try it. Overall, this is an always stop place for me. I highly recommend stopping here to stretch your legs and enjoy a delicious pastry while you're at it. I will definitely be back.
