The bread was heaven!!!! My favorite was the sausage, jalepeno, cheese My son had the cherry kolache which was eaten so quick, i didn't get a pic. He said it was tart and sweet, very delicious. The ham and cheese was amazing but 10/10 recommend the sausage jalepeno. So good!!!

Excellent service and exceptional welcoming experience. I had a soft and delicious plain cinnamon roll. Sorry, no photos, the cinnamon roll was so good I forgot to take a picture. We also but a whole coconut pie. If you are in the area you cannot leave La Grange without getting one or two of the many delicious pies they have. There is coffee, a good food menu, plenty of seating to enjoy the goodies and fresh bread. The ambience is great! Here is a photo of the coconut pie .

Stopped by on our way to Marble Falls. We ordered a pastrami & provolone on toasted white bread and a Ruben sandwich with SunChips & drink. The counter ladies were very nice. A small snafu with getting both sandwiches was quickly remedied. We ordered 2 fruit kolaches...Apple & pineapple. We got a cream cheese instead of pineapple. The pastry is super soft. We enjoyed both of them. We also got a honeybee---a cinnamon roll with pecans & honey instead of frosting. That is quite nice. Lots of honey chopped pecans and again super soft pastry dough. Lastly we got 2 regular cinnamon rolls one with raisins and two one no raisins. We will eat them for breakfast tomorrow. I'm sure they're going to need awesome. There is a cute shop there too. Items are fairly expensive but very cute. We will stop again on the way back.

We stopped in for the bathrooms on a trip and decided to check out the bakery and store. The store was full of customers and it was hopping. The shelves were well stocked with pastries and all sorts of goodies that were freshly made. Unfortunately, if you're gluten-free you're out of luck. There wasn't anything fresh there you could have. Bummer. There also was a little store to the side but it was closed. Maybe it was too early? The bathrooms were clean and parking was easy.

The best kolaches I've ever had. Always make the stop when in the area. Just said the boutique wasn't open.

Wow! Delicious! Fairly priced. Slowish service. Doesn't have a real gas station feel even though technically it is.

I totally get the hype about this place! If I lived nearby, you can bet I'd work my way through…read moretheir whole menu. There's just something different about this style of sandwich. I've had sandwiches in NYC and Boston, but Tony's were definitely better! The menu is overwhelming because so much sounds good, so we went with two 7 inch sandwiches to split--one hot and one cold. Although a helpful tip from the cashier is that you can order any cold sandwich hot. We had the Lucky Luciano (hot) and the Sophia (cold). Both were really good--it was hard to choose between the two. But if I'm being honest, that cold sandwich was reminiscent of subs I loved in the early 2000s from places that no longer exist...with that super thinly sliced turkey, thick slice of Swiss cheese, and basil mayo--it really hit the spot. We also had a cannolo--not as good as others I've had. The bottled root beer was delightful. The Lucky Luciano was the kind of sandwich I came here for, and don't get me wrong, it is deliciously cheesy and will make your hands messy. But the Sophia is the kind of sandwich I'll be craving. My only regret was not taking a sandwich to-go for later. Open a location closer to Houston, please. :)

Many visits later it pains me to remove a star FOR BEVERAGE ISSUES ONLY (the food is still…read morefantastic). They are a pepsi place (booooooo!), and there's no diet pepsi (pepsi zero is their only zero calorie soda option). If you drink Diet Coke (most popular diet drink in USA), then you don't want diet pepsi, but you'll probably drink it if you have to; however, you're very likely to hate pepsi zero (and Coke Zero, too), so no soda for you here anymore! A full Coke setup that also includes Dr Pepper AND Diet Dr Pepper is ideal. I realize a pepsi fountain is more profitable because of distributor incentives, but pepsi is favored by almost nobody and hated by many...so is it really worth it? Tony's is so great that pepsi just does not fit in. Hopefully they don't deteriorate further and change to Wonderbread for all of their sandwiches. Bottom line: at the very least, please add diet pepsi to your soda machine if that brand remains in place.

Reba's is easy to find and quite convenient. It's a large restaurant with a very nostalgic feel…read more The place is open and lots of seating. Music is great! We grabbed a menu and sat down. I noticed it's a bit limited on burgers and sandwiches but perhaps good for the area and easy for the staff to make. We ordered and added some pies, paid in cash for the discount and left to fill our cups. The cashier and another employee had conversations amongst themselves while we were ordering and paying. Felt a bit awkward since we didn't want to interrupt their hugging and or whatever they were doing. The sweet tea stayed mostly empty but lots of unsweetened tea. We dove right into our pies first. The Almond Joy didn't taste like the candy bar as much as an amaretto coconut pie but really good! The buttermilk pie was really good too. I ordered the chicken poblano "burger". The lettuce was sadly very soggy as was the whole sandwich. Thankfully the bun was toasted because there was way too much mayo. I noticed right away that it was just bland. The chicken was thick which is great but it was bland on bland on bland. No poblano flavor. I looked for the peppers. They were grilled/sautéed and thin. Soggy sitting under the lettuce. No flavor. The fries weren't anything special but the crunch. The tea was sadly tasteless as well. I really wish there was more to say. My mom's sandwich was just sort of...there. Nothing special to talk about. I'd go again for pie and coffee alone and only if I was desperate for something to eat. There may be better places to eat in town. It's slow paced inside. Good to watch cars go by and imagine what the place looked like years ago.

(FYI, I live in San Antonio and am very tempted to take a road trip for my next yummy slice.) Then there dessert...well, located within a rocks throw of Brenham, you know what to expect, and it ain't just yummy cookies and cake. Yes, ladies and gentlemen (drumroll) you guessed it...BLUE BELL ICE CREAM!! Spoiler alert they failed to have my favorite daiquiri ice but you're not going to lose me over that. (Hint: just saying for future options. I'll be on the lookout next time I'm rolling down 290 East.) All good and well, the girls behind the counter were attentive and nice. And the restaurant rang of a good place to go after a go hometown Buffalo's Friday night football game. (This is Texas you know.) Thanks Reba (if there is a flesh and blood Reba out there) for expanding to your latest downtown location. LOVE IT!
