Came 1st time to see A Chorus Line earlier 2024. Bought tickets to see 9 to 5 in 2025. Had an issue with tickets So I called and Amanda was a Great help solving my issue I had.

    Tickets, A115 & A116

Hello, I had to express my dissatisfaction with your venue for the Yolanda Adams event. I purchased 2 tickets for seats A 115 & 116. My mother was not able to go down the steps nor was it room for her nor her walker. I am floored that your facility is not adequate for the handicap. My mother was directed to your M7 area which still isn't handicap friendly and your staff took her walker which she requires. It astonished me that code enforcement would inspect and sign off on this. You should be required to inform patrons on your website informing them that your building may not be compatible to their incapabilities. That you are not handicap friendly. Also, the entrance to that area, my mother almost fell as the carpet is not tacked down. I am asking for my refund as we could not use her ticket so I sat with her. I contacted you via email & your website and was ignore but yet I receive confirmation that you received my complaint.

For a local theatre, they have good productions. Good, local theatre. Ample parking (overflow into a side lot). We went to see "Patsy Cline" where I knew the mom of the person who played Patsy Cline. The staff was very nice and very friendly. We wanted to take a picture of ourselves in front of the step and repeat and the employee was very friendly and very helpful! They do sell food and drinks if you wish. They have plenty of restrooms (both sides of the theatre) and there is plenty of seating in the lobby as well while you wait. The theatre itself has good acoustics and the seats have room for you to sit! I'll be back as long as they have interesting shows!

I just returned from attending Guys & Dolls running time 2hours and 40 minutes and time went by fast cause the show was so enjoyable. The Characters Nicely Nicely you would think it was Stubby Kay singing he was so good. The person playing Nathan Detroit, that part was made for him, so good, and looks like a gambler. Sky Masterson what voice along with Sarah Brown and Miss Adelaide perfect pitch, the rest cast out did themselves. They had live Orchestra played so beautiful, unsung heroes cause there hidden in the pit. Now that was show, so let's talk about theater. The Staff: Ticket Box, Ticket taker, Ushers, Food Stand all went out of there way to Welcome you to there theater, always smiling, and helping elderly with walker and wheel chairs and scooters. I will say this, Handicap Parking in front of the theater should have all the spots posted has Handicap NOT couple. I watched theater goers dropping off passengers with Walkers, Canes, Scooter and wheelchairs and then have to park in the main parking lot, I saw Handicap spot out there, but that is walk to entrance to the theater if you can't walk distance that far is why they need more spots in front of theater. Now that theater is having shows once again has life is returning, let's make it easier to the theater goers. Lot of theater goers like me are elderly. Last to say, Mask or asked, but not required, and they are constantly cleaning and hand sanitizer are located all over theater.

Brand new theater with two levels of Seating. There are concession window and a bar selling beer and liquor. They have high top tables to stand at and eat and drink in the lobby. Bathrooms are only on first floor. You can take drinks inside theater. There are no cup holders. They have a huge parking lot that you access from behind the theater. It's $5 self parking. Valet is in front of theater and cost $10.

Plays of Wilton makes its home at The Foundry, a 54 seat black box theater that is wheelchair accessible. Since there are only 4 rows of seats and the theater is small and intimate, almost any seat in the main section is a good seat. The seats are next to each other, so people sit tightly in this small venue. There are some side seats sometimes, but I do not recommend, since the angle of vision to the stage is not the best. Out of all the seats in the main area, I find seat B7 to be the best. There's a pole next to it and an aisle on the other side, so this is the one seat that is almost "private". The plays are mostly LGBTQ+ themed and based. The one I went to see called 10 Naked Men was not all nude. Actors stayed clothed most of the time, but the title sure got people excited about the show....LOL.... Hunter's the nightclub was kind enough to donate red and white wine as well as water for the show, so these beverages were complementary throughout the play. There is limited parking in front and behind theater with some handicapped parking spaces. The theater opens one half hour prior to performance times. Performances are usually Wednesday through Sunday. Evening performances at 8 PM and matinees at 2 or 3 PM. As of 2024, the performances are usually : $35 General Reserved Seating $50 Premium 1st Row Seating $25 Side seating, when available

This day we saw a super fun magician I knew from a Netflix series. It worked well here! Last time we did the VIP tickets and met some cool local patrons in the VIP lounge where they give you complimentary snacks & discounted drinks. It's a nice perk to support the local arts! Parking is easy and reasonable enough. The area itself is a bit depressed, but seems safe enough. Ushers are friendly and helpful, elevator and bar service have fun offerings and bathrooms are fine. If you find yourself in the area, Don't sleep on viewing your favorite shows here. Check it out when in the area. Happy summer yelping in 2026! ~Tami in Miami

Not a strip mall stage wedged between a nail salon and a frozen yogurt shop. A real theater. The kind that feels like it was built for big voices, bright lights, and the occasional crowd singing along a little too loudly after a couple of pre-show drinks. That's the first thing you notice about the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Sitting right along the river in downtown Fort Lauderdale, the place just looks like it belongs there. Modern lines, big glass, clean design. But at the same time it still carries the charm and warmth you expect from a classic theater. It feels like a venue that was designed for nights out. Once inside, the layout works well. Sightlines are excellent. Whether you're down low or up in the higher seats, the stage is easy to see and you never feel like you're watching from a bad angle. But here's the one thing that caught us by surprise. The sound system struggles a bit when you get up into the higher seats. The speakers just don't quite reach that far with the same clarity, so the sound can come across a little muffled. Here's the pro tip. If you're sitting high, save the money and go cheaper on the ticket because the sound quality up there probably won't match what you'd expect from a premium seat anyway. The parking situation has actually improved. Getting in is easier now that they switched to the pay by plate app system. You drive in, park, handle the payment on your phone and head to the show. Simple. Leaving, however, is another story. Getting out of the parking lot after a show can feel like a bit of an adventure. This is where patience becomes part of the evening's entertainment. Give yourself time and don't expect a quick exit. We saw Darius Rucker last night, and even with the sound challenges in the higher seats, it was still a really fun night. Good music, a great crowd, and the kind of energy that makes live shows worth it every time. Here's the move if you're coming here. Go early. Grab dinner or drinks somewhere nearby. Walk over without rushing and enjoy the atmosphere around the theater. And when the show ends, don't fight the traffic. Take your time and let the crowd thin out. Do it that way and the Broward Center becomes exactly what it should be. An outstanding way to spend a Saturday night.

I have to say that the teacher was never on time. Never!!! Always late and she never extended the class, not even a minute! I didn't say a word about that until one day. We are always rushing to be on time and again the teacher was late. We were the only ones waiting for the class to start. The teacher came late and additionally she said that we are going to wait for other kids. Still wait and waste time!! we didn't even know if anyone is coming for sure. I asked why? This doesn't make sense. My daughter is here on time. We can start. We don't want to waste more time waiting for someone who maybe is not coming at all. She wasn't happy with what I said but she took my daughter inside the class and still didn't start the class. The woman at the front desk went inside to talk to the teacher so she finally started the class. Only one more child attended the class later that day. I was afraid that after I said something the teacher is going to be not nice to my daughter, picking on her and that's what happened... my daughter was crying most of the time. Is it a coincidence?? I took her out and said that this was probably our last time here and asked for refund. Couple days later I received an email saying about no refund policy and also saying that my child cut her finger and that's why she cried. Seriously?? First of all I didn't see any cut on a finger and secondly how she would do it. There was only two kids and a teacher. What was the teacher doing??? Also I want to mention that they cannot accommodate makeup classes!!! Their policy includes makeup classes and I called once to schedule a makeup class. They were not able to do it. They suggested to bring my daughter for the older class kids to watch. Nonsense!! I paid for the class, they couldn't schedule a makeup class and they don't refund for the class!!! I was very excited for this place and now I'm just really disappointed and I regret bringing my daughter there. Please be aware.

Quite unprofessional, abusive, provocative, potentially violent. I spoke with a gentlemanly manager once inside when out of nowhere an apparent female it/Karen, absent hygiene and manners and claiming to be the real manager, rudely interrupted and tried to intimidate me into silence, claiming I am unprofessional for calling out fatboi; perhaps she is the root cause of such unhinged and inappropriate behavior toward paying customers and others in sight. Nothing a case of Midol and sanitary napkins wouldn't calm and soothe. Fatboi and Karen both need to STFU and get on track. It should go without saying that this garbage is way out of place here, and surely I cannot be expected to hear out your solicitations for season ticket purchases and other donations. These creepy people made up my mind before I reached my seat. Then I observed on the way out a flock of badges with guns swarming about. WTF was that? Was this due to staff behavior? Was I singled out or is everyone treated despicably here? Entirely preventable - all of it, and certainly unforgettable. It was indeed an enlightening day. I expected and deserved much better and so should all customers. NOTE TO MANAGEMENT: Customer-facing employees, contractors, and volunteers must all be thoroughly vetted and adequately trained as was clearly not the case here. Threatening, harassing, and annoying customers is not a business growth strategy: rather, it is a business failure and defunding strategy. Escalating conversations into confrontations and threats risks violence and injury to customers and staff alike, and likely the liability, publicly, and potential incarceration is much more than you can afford. Monitor and hold all your staff accountable for their behavior at all times. Rid yourselves of the bad ones and low performers forthwith. Put yourselves in your customers' shoes and test your staff at all levels frequently. Good people start from childhood, not magically when you hire them. You need not adhere to thug life. I challenge you to review your video and corroborate my statements herein. It is highly disrespectful and insulting to the many hardworking, dedicated, and professional cast and crew to unleash skanky staff of the burger barn dropout failure sort upon _their_ audience. Do the right thing: clean your house. I and others will be watching and reporting.

You can definitely knock off some of your holiday shopping list here. My favorite items were by Aranji who makes handcrafted jewelry. I got a chance to talk to Ruth the creator who was so friendly. She was a science teacher who used her knowledge of chemistry to adhere glass to paper in order to make wonderful pendants, rings, and key chains. She had a large selection of already made pedants at an affordable price of 2 for $20 which even included the chain. Rings were $5. I am going to send her some pictures I took and art work my daughter created in order to make custom pendants for the holidays. If you are looking for one of a kind inexpensive keepsake jewelry Ruth can be reached at ruth.aranji.us. She is also on facebook and pinterest. I can't wait to do an artistic collaboration with her. There is so much food, shopping and fun. Parking is free but limited. You have to find parking around the outside of the park on the swale. They do ask that you leave your pets at home.
