Cool little spot right behind the casinos. The directions on yelp were a little off, but it was just a little ways down the road. The marker is right in the side of the road so it's easy to spot. Super peaceful and kind of amazing that someone had the patience and artistry to create something like this. I enjoyed walking through the big spiral, there are a couple of them. I think others have made their own little ones nearby and the rock balancings. All the recent rain made for some pretty flowers scattered around. Good for a nice morning walk outside the smoky casino life across the way. read more

I make the 90 minute drive from Vegas to Laughlin a couple of times a year just to clear my head, grab a bite to eat, and walk along the river. I usually make a stop at the labyrinths as well. It's not fancy, but there are about a half dozen small stone labyrinths high on a ridge that overlooks the casinos and river. It gets really windy up there, so watch your hat. It's free and relaxing, and always peaceful. A good place to get some air and refocus. read more

This is definitely a "Roadside America" kind of attraction. I read an interview of Wes Dufek, the gentleman who over a period of three or so years, constructed these 9 labyrinths, and I knew it was the kind of odd thing that I'd want to see. As you come into Laughlin, turn right (south) onto Thomas Edison Drive. Go about 3 miles and on the left, there is a parking area for the labyrinths. I walked around, took some photos, and enjoyed the desert. I did not walk any of the labyrinths, but I could understand Dufek's idea for this. If you're looking for some quiet time, a little bit of exercise, and time to think, come here and walk the labyrinths and you'll be doing all three. They are very close to Casino Drive so no matter where you are in Laughlin, getting here is easy if it's something you'd like to do. read more

Looking for something completed unrelated to gambling or the river in Laughlin? Well, this is it. What is it, exactly? It's... hard to describe. It's some very cool mazes set up in stones at the most random place at all - in the back of the Tropicana. It may feel like you're going out in the middle of nowhere but I promise it's not a trap! If you're having trouble finding it, Pokemon Go can be a big help. It is a little bit of a workout, depending your physical activity. If you're a couch potato like me, be prepared for a little exertion. Nothing outrageous, but you will be climbing up some hills. Hey, it beats losing more money in the casino, though, right? The labyrinths are a little spread out so when you find the first 3, there a few more elsewhere. Try to watch out for the trespassing signs. Don't get yourself in trouble if you don't have to. I recommend this at least once. It's pretty impressive the hard work someone put in, and the fact that it's in such a random spot. When we went there was just one other person there. I'm sure if it was in Vegas they would have a crowd of folks and maybe even charge admission (I wouldn't put it past Vegas). Definitely worth seeing before someone knocks it away! read more

Thank you Wes Dufek for spending years out of your life to give us all something really amazing. My husband, daughter and I drove from Las Vegas and really enjoyed our walks, meditation and prayers. It's a really special place. When you park, it's a smooth walk back to the labyrinths. There are 5 on that main area, if you look up the hill, the path the the left will take you up on a ridge that takes you to another level - where there are 3 more. I saw a 9th labyrinth but my hubby said no way because there was a do no trespass sign. Next time!!! Enjoy. read more

What a cool little hidden gem close to the casinos but feels like a totally different place. Nice place to just take a break and day dream while you walk through each labyrinth. My kids loved it. It is really good for mental health. If it's a hot day, I recommend going earlier, as there is no shade. Will definitely come back each time we are in Laughlin. read more

What: art installation of several Stone Labyrinths that you can walk through and enjoy. We only saw 5-6 of them. We couldn't find the full 9. We are NV locals so this is a nice outing to drive to Laughlin (never been there before), look around and see the Colorado River. Since we were in Laughlin, this was a family friendly activity and trippy thing to look at. I wouldn't make a trip here for this sole purpose. We probably spent about 15 minutes here. Location: use Googlemaps; it will take you right to it on the side of the road. Look hard for the small purple sign or you may pass it. Took us 1.5 hours from Henderson. This place is amazing! I cannot believe I didn't know this was here until about a month ago. The area is so peaceful and the labyrinths are amazingly put together. I am extremely happy that no one has destroyed the area. If you're ever in Laughlin, take a break from the casinos and the river and give this place 15-30 minutes of your time. read more

A beautiful place where 9 stone Labyrinths are available for walking meditations, contemplation, quiet time, prayer, spiritual connections or a new experience. I like it here because it is quiet and off the beaten path. Its a shame their facebook page speaks of vandals & thieves who ruin the place. On my visit, I did see the work of taggers & hoodlums--such a shame. Its a good thing that most people visiting actually appreciate the grounds (as reviewed on Trip Advisor), as it is a big area maintained by one lone, dedicated man. There's a handful of junk & trash floating around, but nothing too out of control. I was only able to walk two of the nine on my first (of many) visits, as it started to drizzle and wind picked up. This is a quaint area of man-made labyrinths. Built by Wes Dufek over a period of 3.5 years It's located behind Tropicana. It was very easy to find. It's free and you can just park on the side of the road. There is no hills and the ground is fairly level and all dirt. I counted eight or nine of them with various shapes and sizes and it's a great place to visit for meditation, and to enjoy some peace and quiet. You can challenge yourself to some various mazes. I found it interesting and I love any kind of roadside attractions. Some say it's half the fun is finding these man-made rock formations. There were few people with kids there when we visited and I noticed their kids love it. You also get a good view of several of the Casinos and the mountains. read more

We went here on a really windy day, so we didn't stay long. There was also a strange guy doing who knows what, in another area, so we only discovered 5 of the 7 formations. Still, the view was great, the photos were fun, and the mazes creative and neat to experience. read more

Tucked behind the hills of the Laughlin strip is this random labyrinth. It's nothing incredible, heck it's not even a business - story is a guy decided to make this to have a place to meditate and he just kept building it. Pretty neat. It can be pretty hard to find it and park - it's literally off the road in the desert dirt. You'll see one marked rock near the road indicating the location, but that's about it. There were about 8 labyrinths when we were there. You also saw several smaller designs like hearts and circles that might be works in progress or made from others. Not much trash or vandalism when we went thankfully. I personally did not do any meditation or anything like that, I simply went because I wanted to stay away from the casinos as long as I could. But for those looking to escape and find solace in the desert, this could be worth the drive. read more

I'm a fan of oddities and roadside attractions so this was right up my alley. We walked over from Edgewater and aside from being uphill it was a nice walk. Great views of the river and casinos. We walked all 9 of the Labyrinths around sunset. No one else was up there so it was quite peaceful and tranquil. I read on another site that people found them difficult to find. We used Pokémon Go and since the area is a gym the app led us right there. Make sure you take some water if you're walking, and remember to take away what you bring. read more

If your a road trip junkie like me your going to love stopping here for 30 minutes. Its so cool to see the art!! Tip: go early at night or early in the mornings cause it gets really hot out there Tip: there is a mix of loose sand and packed trail. Sneakers will work but you may need to dump the dirt out once you get back to the car. Tip: I recommend bring lots of water, sunscreen, a camera and a hat. Absolutely beautiful. I woke up extremely early one morning and decided I wanted to do something instead of going back to sleep. So I yelped "Open 24/7" because I really don't know the area, and this was listed. I decided to go and just check it out since it was only half a mile away from the hotel. Thanking my lucky stars that I brought comfy stuff because I had just planned on doing yoga by the river because that was a pretty kick ass view.. And then I saw this. And decided why not? I mean, YOLO right? Off I went, to locate these labyrinths with a little help from yelp and a lot more help from my GPS and Facebook! Thankfully there is a Facebook page which provided me with easier directions on how to locate them, because "behind the Tropicana" is pretty vague. And the photos I had viewed didn't help me very much either. It's literally a small journey to even find them. But, that's what walking a labyrinth is all about. Meditation, the journey, easing discomforting or unfortunate thoughts/events. You can do many forms of spiritual healing whilst walking a labyrinth. Myself, I used the walks to let go of a LOT. And I encourage people to walk labyrinths to let go of what's troubling them, or even to just be alone with themselves and their thoughts. Anyhow, anyone can walk a labyrinth and anyone can use it to problem solve or ease the stressors. I find them to be beautiful, and this particular set was amazing. Apparently the labyrinths were created and are still maintained by one man. By the looks of it, he also changes the styling and designs of the paths he provides, which is pretty cool if you end up with repeat visits over a period of time (^_^) according to Facebook they have 7 labyrinths, the previous review stating 9 and I found 8. So I'm not really sure how many there are. But they range in size that's for sure. I spent a fair bit of time walking the labyrinths, meditating and finding an equal balance of yin and yang in my life yet again. Releasing a lot of the things I did, almost felt like a weight being removed. While it sounds silly to some, I've become very sensitive to my vibes and like a crystal needs to be cleansed, so does a human soul. So I cleansed at the labyrinths. It was heavenly. The center of each labyrinth were fairly large and I was able to pull full Warrior 3, as well as several headstand moves with leg stretches and the like tossed in. Could you imagine the look of anyone who came across the little blonde in zebra leggings and sports bra, doing headstands and toe flexing in the middle of a rock maze. I'm sure it would've been hilarious but I was soo in the moment, I was just taking the entire experience in. Thankfully I did not come across any artwork created by spray paint or hoodlums, though I did encounter a few bothersome bees and a lizard. I loved my visit and can't wait to go back.Honestly -- if you're a traveling yogi, or you practice any form of spiritual healing, check out the labyrinths. If you're in Laughlin visiting and you want to see something new/different, check out the labyrinths. Look if you're in the area -- GO! Make sure you take appropriate footwear(I had Nike Free Runs and they did perfectly fine) and enough water. I took a liter of Dasani and it wasn't enough. It was blazing at 7 in the morning after all of the hiking and yoga.. I should've taken 2. Ah well, live and learn. I can't wait for my next Laughlin trip, because I wasn't to go back to the Labyrinths so bad! read more

I've been looking for these for awhile and finally found them. It was too hot the day we went to actually walk them but this is a lovely little stop away from the smoke and noise of the casinos. Even in the heat it was enjoyable to walk around and look at them. Just go early or towards evening if you wanna spend more time enjoying them. read more

It was awesome to see the Labyrinths it is easy to find and a lot of fun walking them.

This was a great stop for the kids to get out and run around. It is open air and on top of a hill, the views were great. The kids loved it, they found 8 of the 9 labyrinths. The kids ran, the adults walked, mostly flat or easy hills. We made finding the place part of the adventure. Parking lot is small and so is the sign. read more
