One of your employees just came to pick up the laundry at the home and blocked the drive way, even though there were parking spots available next to the house that wouldn't block the driveway. when we politely let him know we were trying to leave he proceeded to yell at us that he wouldn't be moving his car and that we could just wait. We then had to wait 20 minutes. He could not have been ruder or more aggressive. I was incredibly uncomfortable. I tried to call to let management know but none of the phone numbers lead to a live person so I am left with having to leave a review. read more

As seniors, what once seems like a menial task, become a burden, so my wife and I decided to try LCE based on the services they list, the fact that they deliver and pickup and the excellent reviews on Yelp. we were not disappointed. The day of pickup, I received a text telling me there was a dress shirt in the laundry bag and would I prefer having it treated as a dress shirt. When we found ourselves without a washing machine after a car drove into our garage and a mountain of laundry that had built up, I realized that I needed to find a "wash and fold" like I used to use in SF. I had no idea how to go about it, started with a Google search and Laundry Care Express popped up top of the list in the advertisied vendor section. I clicked on it and was impressed with how efficient and easy to use the website was. Contrary to the comment below I think the website looks very high quality and being able to do the transaction online makes it super easy for me. Basing my expectation on pricing from my long-ago days living in San Francisco, at first I thought the prices were high and figured that the pricing included the convenience of it being picked up/dropped off, online, speed etc. similar to shopping on soap.com. So I found another old-school local dry cleaner via Yelp and brought our stuff there only to find that they charge even more! I left the clothes with them to clean but only because I had lugged them all the way over. They were very nice at the dry cleaner but it was obvious that they don't do wash and fold often. The clothes came back fine, but I did have to sort them before and there were no "options" the way the Laundry Care online system works. Bleach or no bleach was pretty much it. So I decided to use Laundry Care and couldn't be more happy with it. As a full time working mom, having the clothes dropped off and picked up is a huge plus for me and I was very very happy with how clean and organized our clothes were when Laundry Care delivered them. There is a nice, clean "crisp" feel to how the clothes come back in the purple sack, organized and wrapped in bags. For me, that is the most critical part of getting laundry done - is how clean everything about it getting done is. Even after our washing machine is repaired I will use Laundry Care now that I have found them. When I get to that overwhelmed state of so much laundry I am having an anxiety attack! I will also use them for dry cleaning, which I haven't tried yet and was hoping to get out today before work but ran out of time so next week! In a nutshell, pick up/drop off, 1 day service, super clean and organized clothes that came back better looking than I ever do them, it can't be beat for a mother of a 4 year old, with a dog in the house and whose spouse works in SF! The fact that Eric called the next day to check how I felt about the service is such a great indication of how customer service oriented they are which is awesome! read more

An amazing find! After searching online for a local laundry service for my massage therapy business that delivers/picks up....I came across Laundry Care Express. I emailed an inquiry and Eric was quick to respond and get us started. I don't know why I didn't do this sooner! I can focus on my business and not do laundry for hours each night. I have been using them for several years and have been very happy with the service. The prices are alright and the care of my dry cleaning and laundry has been fine. They answer right away if you contact them. Other great things are their website and the ability to check your past orders and payments. I don't see how anybody can criticize their wonderful service of doorstep pickup and delivery, which obviously cuts out one more errand or chore for me to do in limited spare time, as well as my having to drive around more on crowded Valley streets. read more

I was sitting at home looking at a giant pile of laundry piled up over three weeks. Washing it at home would mean getting up every hour for five hours. Since it takes much of the hour just to reach focus, that's a great way to get nothing done. I longed for the days when I worked for BigCo and could just drop off a bag of laundry at work and forget about it. I looked at using Purple Tie myself, but, at $2 a shirt, forget about it. I found a nearby laundromat has a dropoff service -- but, between needing to wake up before 9 AM and make two trips during rush hour, I'm already losing a lot of the benefit. I looked at hiring a TaskRabbit, but doing that would be quite a hassle. And then I Googled around and discovered Laundry Care Express. I was a bit concerned by the cheap-looking website, but it proved quite functional and easy to use. I typed in my information, threw my clothes in a couple bags, and tossed them out the back door. When I woke up the next morning (errr....afternoon), they were gone. When I woke up the day after, they were back on my front doorstep, beautifully folded and freshly scented. I've only used it once, but, so far, so good. I think I'm never doing laundry again. read more

This is a very convenient and courteous service! I was looking for an efficient cleaning service for work and Laundry Care Express is perfect. The website was very easy to use and provided adequate information. They were able to wash sticky workout arm bands to my specifications and preferences as well as some extra towels and bed sheets I threw in. My towels are super soft and fluffy and the softener scent makes my closet smell lovely as well. I like that I can leave it in the lobby and they pick it up and drop it off without me having to do much. Also, the purple laundry bag they give you is very nice and convenient. I will definitely keep using them for commercial needs and possibly personal laundry care in the future. The minimum is $19.99, which I wouldn't mind spending (especially for emergency cleaning from kid accidents, etc) for quick laundry service that I can trust (and not have to stress making time to do) The follow up call to make sure the service was to my liking was very appreciated. I've been using Laundry Care Express for the last 18 months. I have nothing but good things to say about them. While you leave your bag out for pick up and delivery (you don't even need to be home!) I've had the pleasure of meeting my regular delivery guy, John, who is so nice and efficient. Having kids and not always having time to my laundry, this service is great. This is the BEST service of my life!! I have always been OCD with my laundry and never let anyone do it for me. I moved to a place with poor laundry facilities and didn't have the time to run to a laundromat. I got the best service from Eric and his crew! I put instructions to wash my 'delicates' in cold and return damp so I could hang dry them....done! I put to dry everything else on low heat to prevent shrinking....done! The laundry is picked up at my door, dropped off within 24 hours and is all folded neatly. I just remove from the bag and place in my drawers. They picked up and dropped off quickly and the laundry was done just as we like. We needed this, as we are without our own facilities due to flooding as a result of a "repair" of our washer. If I could give zeros stars I would. Made an appointment online for the pick up fluff and fold service. I was told that the driver could not pick up my laundry because the street was closed. The street on one side was closed for road work but not the other side was open ( obviously they wouldn't block people from getting into their homes). He said he would try to come again at the end of the day, or would have to come the next day. He never showed up. So I wasted 2 days waiting. Luckily I found somewhere else where I could drop off the laundry, so I don't have to worry about waiting for a driver. It would also help to be able to reach someone from customer service. I called and it's just a voicemail, and no one calls you back. read more

Laundry Care Express really took care of my companies needs. We had lovely tablecloths with terrible stains that our old dry cleaner (who was more expensive!) couldn't seem to remove. This is a terrible dry cleaner. The shirts are dirty, not crisp, and wrinkly. The delivery is great and convenient, but the quality of the work is terrible...we had to return to our old far away cleaners to have our shirts fixed after the master dry cleaner said they had ring around the collar from the way they were being worn. They only started getting the ring after going to this cleaners a few months and sure enough, our old dry cleaner was able to fix them though this place told us they was no way to fix them and was our own fault. The master dry cleaner here is terrible. read more

We are temporarily without a washer and dryer during our home remodel and Laundry Care Express made life a little easier by us not having to hassle with some funky coin laundromat all day. LCE totally exceeded my expectations. Service was perfect, clothes were clean and folded nicely and had no smell to them when we got 'em back in just 1 day The price is a little high (or it would have been a 5 star rating) but still cheaper than the quote I got from the local cleaner (wash & fold service) where I'd be doing the drop off and pick up. I weighed my laundry before LCE picked it up and the charge was just a couple dollars more than I estimated. I will likely be using Laundry Care Express again. read more

So on top of being charged six dollars a shirt which were specifically stated to not be dry cleaned including the tags on the shirts themselves, I start going through the actual laundry and realize I'm missing clothes. I'm having a hard time figuring out how everyone else gave stars. I thought the concept was great and hey if I am paying someone 120 to do my laundry, can you bother actually washing my clothes or not losing them or reading my explicit instructions on how I want them washed. Sorry my Thomas Pink dress shirts aren't cheap and are either supposed to be handwashed or on a a very delicate cycle. Thank you for losing my true religions I'm sure that's not a big deal at all. So after factoring in missing clothes worth over two hundred dollars and an overstated bill and the inability to actually speak to a human being, I've come to the conclusion that I will stop being lazy and trust incompetent individuals with my clothes that I happen to love. read more

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Laundry Care Express is as good as it gets. I'm the office manager at our church. We don't often need to have laundry done, and when we do, its usually baptismal robes and towels, but on a particular day this July, it rained. Not a bad thing, except that we were getting a new roof and the roofers didn't cover the roof. Yep...rain damage, and a fair amount too. It poured through the roof and onto the storage area where I had wedding supplies. (PANIC!) By the time I got done sorting, I had three 32-gallon bags of smelly, once-beautiful white chair covers and sashes. I thought they were ruined for good. Tried the dry cleaner... Say what?? $5.50 per chair cover and $3.00 per sash?? I don't think so! So...what to do, what to do... I didn't want to stay up all night doing laundry and then I remembered that when I lived in Menlo Park there was a day laundry service there, so I started searching for a place I could drop off and pick up the laundry. Voila! I found...(roll on the drum please...) Laundry Care Express! Yay! Only took me 5 minutes too, and their website was super-easy to navigate, super-easy to use, and super-duper easy to book the pickup. Now, I'm not a "Negative Nellie", but I had my doubts about the company and service. I figured I'd give them one chance... to be on time and do the job right. Well...... let's just say their driver beat me to the office. He was there before I got there to put out the laundry, and he WAITED for me! Shocking! This company is the bomb-diggety. Totally. Their driver is very polite, very nice, very informative, and ON TIME. Plus, he speaks English, which was a big plus for me. My wedding items came back in beautiful shape, perfectly clean, folded beautifully, and I was, and am, thrilled. Thrilled. Not beyond words, as you can see, but thrilled nonetheless. I will use them again, believe me. I recommend this company 100%. You will love them, and you will be so very happy to have your laundry picked up and delivered in lovely, heavy-duty fabric bags that have your own name on them. Go, guys. Keep up the good work. I will never do laundry ever again! This was the most amazing thing ever. As a full time nanny and full time student I spend a lot of time making sure other peoples laundry is done and so I when I get home it is the last thing I want to do. After a month long summer vacation and two 80 hour work weeks I came home on my day off to realize that I desperately needed to do laundry. Like a full days worth or work. (Plus I live in an upstairs apartment so doing laundry entails several trips up and down the stairs, no thank you!) so I started looking for laundry services on yelp! This laundry service is part of what allows my elderly mother to continue living independently. There's no price on that - really. But the cost is reasonable and it means I don't spend my weekend days off work doing her laundry. The service is a breeze. They are so reliable and the clothes are clean and fresh smelling. Absolute worst dry cleaning service. Stained the back of my sweater, told me they weren't responsible, and tried to tell me it was a "food" stain...on the back. I love Laundry Care Express! I am a stay at home mom but I recently started working from home. I found that I did not have enough time for folding the laundry. I soon had a mile high mountain of clean laundry that NEVER got folded. We could not find anything in that pile... Thank God I found Laundry Care Express. They have been fabulous.
