The dryers are the style where you pay $0.25/6 minutes, which can be frustrating to guess how many cycles you'll need. They have the rolling carts to bring your laundry around and, even better, a few parking spots right out front for you to get up close!

Of the 5 washers I used, 4 of them worked just fine. 1 skipped from wash to spin and never rinsed the soap out. There is no employee or attendant present at the laundromat and no way to set the machines to just run on rinse and spin. Disappointed with that as it was one of the more expensive, jumbo washing machines. Overall it was clean inside, not crowded at all, and had plenty of carts and folding tables. Also it is like one million degrees in there - prepare to sweat! We couldn't bear the heat and took most of our laundry home to fold rather than folding it there.

The sheets I can wash here where I live, but the quilt is larger and won't properly fit in the washers here. So I had to find a good laundromat. 5 minutes from where I live is a newer laundromat, "Wash and Go". I went there Friday with my quilt. I'm familiar with the owners whom own the store right next to the Laundromat, the East Ridge Express, a convenience store. I did a story on them awhile back when they opened. The Wash and Go laundry they own is a nice laundromat. All newer washers and dryers. Very neat and well kept. The owner is a nice guy, and since it was my first time there, he showed me how to operate things. They have a variety of newer washers and dryers, large and small, a change machine, folding tables, laundry carts, and sitting chairs, and a TV. It's a bit more expensive than the regular $1.25 , $1.50 prices like where I live, but it's worth it. $4.00 is the minimal washing price. Drying is a bit more also. But you can wash and dry larger loads!!! I was pleased with the place and will go back.

I don't even know if they know what gray and cashmere is. The blossom Road location told me I might have better luck at their location when the owner is around. I like to think that maybe I caused the tear myself by accident by not being careful. I'm going to go to Eagles in Penfield just to be safe because this whole situation was really upsetting for me. The shirt costs too much for the business to replace. I should have documented the condition of the shirt before sending it in. I'm going to have my special clothing cleaned elsewhere to be safe. Today is one of those days that I find myself at a laundromat. I am so grateful that MadeNew Laundry in Henrietta opened up. It's worth the little extra drive coming from Fairport to be in an environment that is truly kept immaculately clean and that I feel safe. On top of that, the machines are state of the art technology for washing without wear and tear on my clothes. They rinse and spin thoroughly and dry without cooking the fabric. I am very pleased by the outcome everything from my delicates to son's work pants. Upon walking in, I was given a friendly greeting by Jason who gave me a quick tour of how to get started with the payment system. You have a choice of purchasing a reloadable Laundry Card using either cash or credit card. Or you can download the Laundry Cat app and use a card or other electronic payment, like Apple Pay, and use the app as a virtual laundry card. I chose the Laundry Cat App. It's pretty nifty as it uses the WiFi to give you a status of the machines you have in use. It's easy to reload your account and it's easy to apply payment to a machine. Loading and starting up the machines was a cinch. Wash time is 30 mins or less. Dry time is 20 mins or less. The dryers are very efficient. All in all, it was an excellent experience for going to the laundromat.

Which appear to be working. There's free wifi as well. It's a small space and a bit cramped but still manages to fit in 6 double-load washers ($2.50/load with 2 out of order), 10 regular washers ($1.75/load with 4 out of order), 2 giant washers ($4.50/load) and 18 driers ($0.25/8min with 3 out of order). There was only me and another person at the time so it was ok but if it was a busier time, the small space might be an issue. A few people came in while I was in here but they just put in their laundry and left. There's only one laundry cart so bring a basket or something to help you move your wet clothes to the drier. $0.75 packets of tide, Clorox or bounty are available in a vending machine as well as $1 soda cans and an assortment of $0.75 snacks. There are 2 change machines as well. I used the soda machine and the bounty machine with no problems. I did one load of laundry in a regular washer and there weren't any problems -- 32 min cycle for a warm wash. Another person used one of the double washers and it made a lot of noise and shook quite a bit while washing. The drier I used seemed to work fine. It took 23 min for my load to dry -- at 15 min I took out my shirts and towels that were dry and then let the jeans and dresses that were still damp go for another 8 min on their own. Window says that the laundromat is open daily from 7am to 10pm. I'd go here again. The price isn't bad ($1.75 wash + $0.75 dry = $2.50 total per load) and there are shops in the area to explore in the meantime.
