The ride takes you high above the valley, offering breathtaking scenery of the Tetons and Jackson Hole. The only downside was that the tram stopped briefly on the way up, which made us a little nervous. Thankfully, everything was handled safely and the views on the way down were absolutely worth it.

The Jackson Hole Aerial Tram ride alone is worth it. You pack into the "Big Red" tram and ascend 4,139 vertical feet up Rendezvous Mountain, and the views just get better and better. On a clear day, you can see the entire valley spread out below you -- it's one of those "wow, this is why I travel" moments. Then you step off at 10,450 feet and make your way to Corbet's Cabin. The smell hits you first. The air is filled with warm waffles cooking in a tiny, cozy hut perched at the top of the mountain. It feels like a hidden alpine secret, even though everyone knows about it. But, on a windy day, be careful! The waffles? Unreal. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and loaded with toppings. The brown sugar butter and bacon combo is legendary, but honestly you can't go wrong. Eating a hot waffle at the top of the Tetons before dropping into serious terrain (or just cruising down a groomer) is peak ski culture. Pro tip: go early. Lines build fast, especially on powder days. Five stars just for the tram-to-waffle experience alone. It's not just a snack, it's a rite of passage.

Cathy answered and was very pleasant. I explained our situation and she was understanding and found us a Snowshoeing Tour in the Tetons for a half or whole day. We chose a half day guided snowshoe tour. Beverly met us at our hotel the next morning at 0800. We chatted for a bit and there were a couple of options for us to 'shoe'. My daughters hadn't seen a Moose before so we chose the River Valley Area in the Teton National Park. The drive was about 20 minutes from Jackson. Beverly had all the gear you needed. We started out on our hike and the scenery was so beautiful. We had a very 'bluebird' day. On our was back we began to see signs of Moose. Shortly after we found what we wanted to see. A cow and her calf. Being careful not to stare to long or threaten them we were able to watch and see these beautiful animals and appreciate their size. Beverly was a very knowledgeable guide and a wonderful woman. Having help raise two daughters it is great for them to interact with other strong women. We have discussed as a family of visiting in the summer months and The Hole Experience offers a overnight camping and hiking experience that we will want to do.

She was thoughtful and courteous, called back when we got disconnected (i think i was laughing and hung up with my cheek). She arranged for Tessa to be our guide. Tessa was extremely knowledgeable about the trails, brought us to one that for our hiking skills (or lack of) and took us on a beautiful hike. We learned about local plants, trees, and climbed to the top of the trail where we could see all the mountains around us. It was exactly the hole we asked for! We traded interesting and fun tales, learned about Jackson Hole, Teton, and even bits about Yellowstone, we stayed hydrated with provided water, and had an amazing day. Thank you Tessa for exceeding our expectations!

Three negatives within the first 30 minutes of the trip. Will update if there's positive changes,…read moreif this review is not updated, the experience did not get better. For $600-850 a snow mobile, this outfit is greatly missing customer etiquette. We were told to be ready at 6am sharp. We wanted to confirm which side of the hotel pickup was, however neither the 1800 or 307 numbers work. We called repeatedly, text the 307 number, and had no idea if we'd been scammed until the coach showed up at 6:28. Showing up late with no working phone number was shocking for an outfit that demands logistics and communication at 6am. Once the coach showed up, I asked Jeff (guide) if there's any coffee since it's a 1+ hour ride to Yellowstone and coffee shops were not open. Scenic Safari's response? "You can die for an hour in the back." A bit rude, I ignored it. For comparison, the hotel shuttle that runs FOR FREEE has coffee and hot chocolate prepped in the van. No coffee on a $600-800 per person is one thing, but "You can die for an hour in the back," has ZERO customer etiquette. We get in the coach and the man has the lights on full blast over our heads. When asked to dim them since it's pitch black outside and the contrast painful to anyone with migraines, Jeff makes the remark "lights are going off because there's someone sensitive in the back." Zero basic customer etiquette. Just turn the light off. Everyone heard the request. Three strikes before the fist 30 minutes of the trip with 8 hours to go.

It was challenging and exciting but not unsafe for our beginner experience levels. Taylor kept an excellent watch over our ability and knowledge to be sure we could handle each rapid well before it arrived. Her guidance made it a fun and beautiful day. We spent over an hour in the car getting to the launch site and back and enjoyed every minute because Taylor is a fascinating person and a great conversationalist. One of our kayaks got loose and went downstream and Taylor exerted a tremendous amount of extra effort to get things back together. She was a good sport about it even though it created a lot of extra work for her. I've also rented inflatable kayaks from Rendezvous and they do a great job. I came with zero knowledge of kayaks or local conditions and they got me the right equipment and made sure I knew just where to go. Rendezvous is very fair about pricing. We discovered that we needed a guided trip instead of a rental and they credited the full amount of the rental toward the guided trip

Unfortunately, REI pulled their outdoor adventures, but Rendezvous picked up where they left off and made improvements. Our guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and created a fun and safe environment. Luke and Taylor were a fantastic team. We had a great time. The adding of the white water kayaking on the last day was a huge upgrade. Taylor's knowledge of each rapid allowed me to take them on with confidence. We did miss have Luke on this portion of the trip, however we understand he had to take care of the "clean up" for the equipment on the trip. We can't say enough about this trip and the unforgettable memories we made. I would highly recommend this trip.
