There were so many options in the pastry case that I couldn't pick just one, so I tried a cream puff, pistachio danish, and a hot chocolate to go along with them. They brought my order to my table where I had a nice view of the park grounds. To my surprise the hot chocolate was a build your own, I received a cup of hot milk, whipped cream on the side, and different types of chocolate truffles to mix in with the milk depending on my preference. The danish and cream puff were some of the best treats, perfect taste, perfect texture, perfect everything! Cakenhagen is a Tivoli gem and I am dreaming of the day I can go back to savor their treats again. I'd give them more than just five stars if I could!

Dessertdragen's cakes are, however, extraordinary, and neither can or should be compared with the mass produced products from certain 'baker chains' in Copenhagen. (awesome and simple Danish raspberry cake) - where other bakeries use a cheap, generic raspberry jam - Dessertdragen makes it's own jam! Currently I'm living in New York City, and craving for the quality of the cakes from Dessertdragen I had my boyfriend bring some, yay.
