Not the best customer service at all. Even with our bride making an appointment for us to look at bridesmaid dresses they left us on our own to browse. Once we found some gowns we liked to try they told us that none of them would come in the color we wanted and we left to search the pages of their magazine. Same issue happened and finally an employee pulled the dresses that would be able to be ordered in our color (wine). We did end up finding a dress that we all agreed on, at $260. It's a nice dress, but it's simple enough and definitely not worth that price tag. We bit the bullet and paid the bill and added rush fee since we are only a couple months out from the wedding. When I went back in to pick up my dress though, they broke my hanger in the process of getting my dress of the rack and then instead of getting a new one told me "it's okay" and sent me out the door! I paid almost $300 on a gown and you can't even give me a proper hanger for my dress? Not to mention after I got it home there wasn't an eye sewn in opposite the hook (the small hook and loop parts above the zipper). I will definitely not be giving them my money for the alterations it needs! And with my own wedding next year I will not be coming back here! read more

My experience here, after going to the Bridal Shop in Tucson was amazing! The customer service, the dresses, the time spent and memories made were amazing. I started my search at the Bridal Shop in Tucson off of Speedway. They were horrible and recommended I go to Laura's Bridal. So glad, he did! Here is my review of The Bridal Shop and their response. Just in case you live in Tucson and wanted to shop for a wedding dress. Stay away from #Thebridalshop off Speedway. A month ago I started planning a location to get a wedding dress. I wanted to have a local company and not give the "Big Names" a client because they do well without me. So, in my searching I found a place called "The Bridal Shop". I looked at their dresses online and thought what a perfect place. It looked cute and small and the dresses were amazing online so I booked the appointment. When I called and booked a man answered and the only thing he said was, yes we can get you in , "what is your size " . I told him , a 10 or 12. So a couple days before the appointment I called and asked if we can bring champagne and he said , yes. We didn't want to get "loaded" just cheers to finding "the dress". When we showed up the place was dirty, smelled and he was the only one on staff. I asked him who would help me get dressed and he replied, your brides maids. Then I asked are these dresses your only selection and he said, yes we only carry size 8. I said, well I called and told you I was a size 10 to 12. He said, well I can't help you. I went to every bridal shop in Tucson looking for a unique style (a high neck wedding dress). I was ready to start making plans to visit Phoenix, since this style is not as popular and even David's Bridal did not carry one dress like it. I went to Laura's Bridal after looking at their website since it appeared they carried 3 high-neck dresses. I ended up finding one of these dresses on the clearance rack at 50% off! It was a size 12, and I'm closer to a 2. After four fittings, I went home with my dream gown and it looked great. I tried a few boutiques in search of my wedding gown. This boutique had a variety of dresses to choose from, but what really sold me was their customer service. My stylist really went out of her way to help me , even brought me my cell phone that I had forgotten, after they closed- I insisted she hold onto it until the next morning. What a sweetheart ! She was very patient with me during the try-on's and she seemed to share in the excitement with me and my crew that accompanied me. I went to another locally owned $$$ boutique and they texted me incorrect information. It really made me feel they didn't pay attention to detail. I expected more from a boutique that charges an arm and a leg. I usually forgive that stuff, but , not at a $$$ place. Goes to show, si ? Meh. Point is: don't go to Laura's. There's plenty of other shops in Tucson and Phoenix that will be so much nicer to you and your family/friends. Terrible customer service to begin with. They don't really help you - if you want to go to a self-help bridal shop, then go here. If you want the full experience of someone helping you each step of the way whether it be for bridesmaids or the bride, go somewhere else! When all of the bridesmaids dresses came in, no one's fit - how is that possible that 8 dresses were all wrong?! They claim that we all gained weight. I went back to look for flower girl dresses a week later. My niece wears a 6 in little girls but we wanted to see the difference between sizes 6 and 7 and 8. We held up to compare three dresses, which we thought it was a 7 and another an 8 because it they were obviously bigger but get this - the 6, 7, and 8 were clearly different but ALL labeled size 6! That's not a coincidence.. how can three dresses be the same size but each one is longer and wider? The bridesmaids alterations were not properly (also overpriced) and the hook for the back part of the zipper was only half placed. I had to take the other half off one of my own dresses and sew it on there because they make you sign a paper when you leave the store saying that they are not liable for anything once it leaves their shop. read more

I chose Laura's bridal because they carry Maggie Sottero dresses and offer a military discount. The staff is kind and that is where I end my satisfaction. The owner did all the alteration pinning at my first appointment. My second alteration appointment I found the dress in bad condition. It was and inch and a half too short and uneven at the hem. There was a very noticeable bunching on my right side and backside. When I went to pick my dress up at the third appointment, the day before I left out of town for my wedding, it was still the same! 8 hours later I took my dress in an imperfect state with the hem lowered back to the original length! Upon returning from my wedding the owner did reimburse me all the alteration fees, only after I had to be firm and explain the dress was made imperfect by her measuring and alteration team. She was unapologetic and tried to lay blame on me...how I was standing... I'm being unreasonable. Completely unprofessional and she has absolutely no ability to take responsibility. read more

She flat out asked me why I would be shopping so far in advance and when I told her I didn't understand why it mattered she said, "I just don't know why you would do it so early". My experience here was GREAT and I'd recommend these ladies to anyone looking for a very personal experience. I came in to have a different dress fitted 5 weeks before the big day...I had an appt. When I walked in I was the only customer which made me feel great since all the ladies were available to help. I changed into the dress i brought with me and when I came out the ladies were so helpful. They were asking hesitant questions and a super polite manor so when I finally just asked them to give it to me straight they told me the dress I had bought elsewhere didn't fit me correctly (it was to short and fitted to the wrong place on my body). They were extremely helpful and offered a bunch of ways to fix the dress I had bought and make it something great on my wedding day. When I told them I wasn't completely committed to my dress and asked for more examples of what the dress should fit like they were more than happy to help. They pulled out 2x dress, one which was the same shape and style as the one I brought it. It was amazing and completely put the dress issues I was having with my dress in perspective. Then they put me in another dress that they thought would actually compliment my body better....boy where they RIGHT! OMG the new dress was AMAZING! I bought it on the spot. They were even willing to sell me the brand spanking new sample they JUST got in that week. I had SUCH an amazing experience here and they totally put me on the right track for my wedding. I had a good experience trying on wedding dresses here. I had an appointment, but it was busy when we came in and I was left to look around for dresses on my own. I had chosen a few I liked on their website, but they didn't have all of them. The dressing rooms are very small, and I didn't have anyone helping me get in and out of the dresses. That was ok with me, but it would have been a little easier with help. Once I was trying the dresses on, the staff did help clip me in the dresses which I appreciated. They didn't have a range in sizes. Overall the staff were very friendly, and gave good advice, but it wasn't as special or personalized as other stores I visited. read more

These ladies are great! What a team... My salesperson was Monica and she was just a doll, genuinely and to the fullest. On my last fitting I got a chance to sit and talk to her for a few minutes while the seamstress (also very nice...) made a final alteration. Monica really puts a personal touch to the bridal buying experience, and I feel she truly cares about her customers. I originally had put a down payment on a dress from A Tuxedo and Bridal, several months - almost a year went by and I was nearly a month away from my wedding (now at ten days till...) but we found out A Tuxedo had gone out of business and didn't bother to contact its customers. Needless to say, dress #1 was gone. :( But then my mother found out about Laura's Bridal and Monica took it upon herself to make sure I left that day with a new dress ordered, and I did! I now have a new different style dress that I'm SOOO excited to put on two Saturdays from now! They even gave us a hookup for out frustrations, and 50% off of all alterations. This place is very unorganized and has no way of tracking what you've paid for your dress, (if you make payments.)The most stressful part of my wedding has been this dress. Everytime we went to make a payment on the dress they either couldn't find the order or said we owed more then what we did. They said my dress would be in at the end of August. August 31st came and went with no call. I had to call to see if it was in. Then I could not get a fitting until 3 weeks later because she said they're so busy. Not very friendly, and over fit you in your dress so they can make $ on alterations. Make sure you know your dress size or measurements before they take them and question it if they are trying to fit you in sized bigger. My Fellow bridesmaids did not know that information and the dresses were 2 dress sizes to big and spent almost as much as the dress in alterations. I'm one VERY VERY HAPPY bride!!!! Back in February of 2016 me & my family went out to look for the perfect wedding dress. We started off at David's bridal... bad idea.. we were treated like nothing special but a dollar sign. long story short, I left in tears & very upset!! I had no clue what we were going to do. Then my mom made a couple phone calls & everyone who she talked to told her "Laura's Bridal was the place to go!" So we called, told them our situation & the lovely lady told us to go in. When we got there, it was quite. Plenty of seats, she kindly asked me what I was looking for. I let her know what I was looking for, my dislikes & loves. She picked an dress she thought would fit me. Then she let my family pick out a few as well. Then I started to try them on. Each dress she gave me the 411 on it. Designer, where it came from, year, what it was made out of and more. (David's bridal did NONE of that!) I fell in LOVE with the 1st dress. I was in tears when I put it on for the 2nd time! It was perfect & everything I asked for. So I put my payment down & next were my bridesmaids. 2 of my girls were coming in from out of town & that wasn't a problem! The owner Sandra made everything easy & stress free!! Laura's bridal was the only negative part of my wedding experience. I purchased my dress there because they had the exact style with sleeves that I wanted. I assumed it would be safe to get alterations there, boy was I mistaken. I had three seperate fittings. My first one they didn't greet me nicely and weren't even sure when my appointment was and why I was there. I do not speak spanish which is the primary language of their seamstress, therefor an employee had to translate for me. It would have been fine had she not been the only employee there. Between translation she was answering the ringing phone, signing for packages and helping other people. I scheduled an appointment in advance and could not even be given undivided attention for longer than a few minutes at a time. Needless to say I left hesistant about whether or not my dress was going to look the way I wanted by my second fitting. The owner of the shop was there for my second fitting and that time they at least were expecting me. I felt good about what the seamstress had done thus far and I had someone with me the whole time because there were enough staff there to deal with everything else. My third and final fitting was even worse than the first. The weather was very bad that day so I can see how some employees may not have been able to get there....but it seemed like they just didnt plan well and were once again understaffed. They had to ask my name multiple times (mind you all together this was my FOURTH time there and I was a bride getting married in a week) and I had to remind them what my appointment was for. I left in tears and could hardly express all my complaints before I just had to take my dress and leave. All together they are understaffed, extreamely unorganized, unprofessional and most of all unwilling to make the extra effort to make a bride feel comfortable. I do not need bells and whistles. What I do need is simply a nice greating, someone willing to take the time to check their schedule and be prepared for their daily appointments, and most of all the attention to assure me that I am getting what I deserve as a bride and what I paid good money for....and you will NOT find that here. Luckily it did not ruin my wedding, but I hope they change something so other brides don't have to feel that way I did. read more

I bought my dress elsewhere and then had my dress altered here two years ago and never got around to reviewing it. They did an okay job, but in retrospect, I wish I'd gone elsewhere. First, it wasn't advertised anywhere that it's cash only. I went through the whole process of being measured only to find out they would only let me pay in cash. Really?! This cost me over $500. I can't believe that a business would expect that much money in cash. Second of all, they just didn't really listen to how I wanted the dress. They kept trying to push up the bust area, which I wasn't comfortable with, and when I said I didn't want that much cleavage, I was told, "Most girls want that." Well, I'm not "most girls." Finally, they took too much out of the torso/waist area; I would have preferred a little breathing room. If I could do it over again, I would have taken my business somewhere else. They didn't totally ruin my dress, but I just didn't enjoy the experience. read more

My daughters and I made an appt for a Sunday, we walked in and told the girl we an appt, she said "OK", like whatever, then she asked price range, style and size, then when the wedding is, she said "well it takes about 5 mo. to get the dresses in , then there"s alterations" she then walks over to to a rack of dresses and points and says go ahead and look around, if you need any help let me know, really, we are shopping for wedding dresses, not something we do this all the time!! thank god we had been somewhere else that has fantastick customer service. I visited both of the Laura's Bridal locations and their new location is double the size of their previous location. Nice! :) I was originally browsing for wedding dresses, of which they have a moderate selection; hopefully, they can expand their selection further in their new location. I did have luck in their accessory department. I found a headband that I fell in love with; in fact, I bought the headpiece before the dress. It was very delicate and when I got it home and took it out of the box, a section of the headpiece actually fell off. I took it back to Laura's, they repaired it, and were very nice about making the repair. By the way, they were super accommodating and while I'm sure appointments are preferred, you could probably just walk in unless it's the weekend. The girls who helped me on two different occasions were very sweet, helpful, not pushy or pretentious. Compared to other dress shops in Tucson, their friendliness, patience and willingness to help you find the perfect dress was on top; their in-house selection of gowns was moderate, but they were more than willing to go through their catalogues. I finally have my wedding dress in my hands, but not without so much frustration. After falling in love with a dress, I was told it was definitely beyond my budget for dresses. The owner insisted I buy that day and convinced us with being told we were getting a discount. A contract was made and signed with a payment plan and we left the store. Months later, made the last payment (as we thought) on the dress, but found out there was still $523 more to pay. A new contract was made with no payment plan, or due date for the "new balance" (illegally and not to mention without my consent) and was signed after I was verbally harassed and berated as a customer. I left the store and came back a couple days later to calmly discuss the matter with her again to see if we could arrange some sort of deal to pay off the dress. Immediately my mother, mother-in-law to be and I were accused of taking advantage of her store and being rude. She then continued to say how this entire situation was a bad omen on my wedding and how I shouldn't start a marriage like this. We left the store and filed a complaint with the BBB where I got nowhere with this lady who calls herself an owner. She sent the money owed to collections before it had even been 30 days since my last payment, said she had tried many times to collect this money from me, and even had the letter addressed to her personally, not her business. I ended up paying the rest of the money for this dress that I LOVE and cannot wait to wear on my wedding day. BUT, long story short, do not go to Laura's Bridal for any of your bridal needs - Unless you feel like getting let down, pressured, and insulted. read more
