Whilst pinning it she made sure to ask if I was okay with what she was doing as well as if I wanted it to be different, giving me the opportunity to let her know which I appreciated as I know some people have a harder time doing so. Her prices were affordable and cheaper to other options in Tucson. She also had my dress finished in less than 24 hours which was incredible. I took my courthouse wedding dress to Elsa to be adjusted and when I got it back it looked amazing. I bought the dress online from JJs House. She not o it took care of the alterations I thought to ask for, but also suggested I add some boning into the sides to give a smoo th we look and remove some of the material padding on the chest that sat awkwardly. The garment was so much nicer when she was done with it. All that for less than $50. I'm in disbelief. She also was very conscious of the COVID virus and sprays down our shoes when we enter her home where so does her tailoring. I went back to have my engagement party lehenga adjusted and again-- excellent work! It came out better than I hoped for. She is going to be my go to person from now on. I am so lucky to have stumbled upon Elsa's business via Yelp. I was in desperate need of a seamstress to alter my wedding gown as the others I visited either turned me away or I didn't feel confident they would handle my gown with care. Just by reading Elsa's reviews, I knew she was the one for me. When you are getting married, you want the person altering the gown you saved every penny for to treat it with as much love as if it were their own. I immediately felt a connection to Elsa as soon as I walked through the door. I felt like I was in the home of my own relative, so I was instantly at ease. My gown was made entirely of chiffon, beads, and sequins. It was floor length with kimono sleeves and weighed like it was armor. Although heavy, it was extremely delicate. I put on my gown for Elsa and she gasped the way I did the first time I put it on. She loved the beauty of it, just as I did. I knew in that moment, I was in good hands. I originally only needed the hem and the shoulders taken in. After pinning me up, she had me turn and move. She saw that the zipper in the back may start buckling so she added that to her list of alternations, that I initially had not taken into consideration. I was so pleased to be in the company of her expertise. When I picked up my dress only 2 weeks later, she had me try it on. It fit like a glove and looked exactly how I envisioned it to always look. She laughed about how the dress had her up all night because the beads would go flying off of a seam she was working on. Every single bead was back it it's place on that dress exactly as it was when I bought it. Her prices by the way, are phenomenal, especially for her level of skill. I had expectations of how it would look when complete, and she blew that right out of the water. It only felt right to pay her more than what we agreed because of this. I hope to not be married again so unfortunately, I may not be repeating business but I absolutely hope this review helps a bride in need of someone who can work magic in terms of alterations. I just had my first visit with Elsa to show her my dress and she is not only so knowledgeable but she is wonderful!! She immediately knew how to tackle my gown that is a size too big,has sheer siding and large rhinestones and beading on the straps that flow down to the back of the gown. Elsa wasn't phased one bit about how to make it perfect (two other alterations specialists in Tucson had NO CLUE what to do about the dress deeming it too difficult and time consuming) - NOT ELSA! She is a true expert and is so passionate about wedding gowns I know I have nothing to worry about! I will be stress free about my gown from here on out thanks to her. Elsa is truly amazing! Elsa was recommended to me by Gigi Bridal and I'm so happy they did! I had gone to another seamstress who quoted me more than what my dress cost and said she couldn't alter it the way I wanted (mermaid style dress that needed a lot hemmed and lifted). I was in shock but then I connected with Elsa! She not only hemmed my dress exactly how I wanted but also took in at the waist and at the shoulders and even made a suggestion on my sleeves which made the dress more feminine. She had me walk around in the dress to make sure we both liked how it moved and looked and kept mentioning that it needed to be "perfect cause it's your wedding dress". When I came to pick up and tried it on I was in heaven! It was exactly how I pictured it being and just couldn't be more happy with how it all turned out.
