I asked if there any places nearby that might have some, to which he says "not in this area." A quick mapping showed me one three minutes away where they were very kind and helpful. Kid was pretty rude off the bat as well. I'd recommend anyone actually needing flowers (lol) to go to Rothe Florists down the street. They were extremely kind, crazy cheap, and the bouquet was beautiful. I would add a photo but do not want people to assume it was from this store.

Dana does it again!…read more We have have loved her work for years. I don't know how my friend in Seattle found her to send us get well flowers, but she did. Dana texted first and delivered the most beautiful bouquet. This isn't any sort of "FTD" arrangement. E. had asked for sunshine in the arrangement. I think 8 sunflowers is a good amount of sunshine. Roses too. The store may be unassuming, but everything else about Dana and Plants is extraordinary.

Then, a few years ago, FDC heard that they sold beautiful Christmas wreaths and such. Still, we never went to check it out ... until yesterday. I decided on my way back from Lansdowne to turn left and see. I'm so glad I did. This is a beautiful old greenhouse, slightly leaky in the rain, and even on a dreary day it was beautiful in an unpretentious way. I was greeted warmly, where they apologized for the puddles and gave me a quick layout - perennials here, succulents and potted plants there, fairy gardens, and perennials out back. There was so much color! I took my time, looking at the vegetable plants and petunias and aloe. Everything was so healthy and, well, green. There were touches of whimsy, fun little scenes along one wall of the greenhouses, including one of Excalibur. Love it! I found a nice spider plant, just the right size for my living room shelves, and some gorgeous double bloom geraniums for my front pots. As for the cost? Really reasonable. The geraniums were $6, and the potted spider plant was $19. Pretty good deal! Parking is along the cemetery lane, please park along one side so others can pass by. As it has started to rain more heavily I didn't see the perennials & shrubbery. I'll definitely be back.

My garden beds and yard were already at capacity, but I still found an excuse to buy more when I saw their selection. Strong plants, well tended and a much larger variety than I expected. Their pricing was very fair, especially for the condition of the plants. Inside the greenhouse was just as great, with funky garden art and plenty of annuals and supplies. The guy who checked me out was so easy and friendly, even helped me to my car. I love to support independent businesses like this, and can't wait to go back in a few weeks to load up for spring.

When I bought it, it looked great but as soon and I took it home, it started drying up and eventually died. When I reached out to them for a refund for the defective product, I was met with unhelpful responses and a lack of empathy. They refused to acknowledge the poor quality of the plant and offered me a gift card for 50% of the item. It feels like they don't stand behind their products at all. Save your money and look elsewhere for healthier plants and better customer service. This experience has left me frustrated and regretting my purchase.

The staff are consistently kind and helpful--even during the peak of summer when the shop is packed with young seasonal workers who are clearly well-trained in customer support. Walking through the Flower Station in early spring feels more like exploring an arboretum than a store. The uneven, curvy paths are so inviting that I often find myself walking the loop several times just to take it all in. On my last visit, I had a "5+ star" experience. Only Paul and the owner, Kevin, were there, and both were incredibly heartfelt, knowledgeable, and supportive. This is the place to go for affordable, high-quality, (watered!) plants. While you might not find the rarest or most exotic species, everything I have ever bought here has stayed healthy and thrived.
