This hospital has been extremely supportive towards the family needs, nurses are compassionate in the ICU and staff members are approachable. There are a few entrances to the hospital but after 8pm you enter through the back entrance nearest to the ER side. I've heard nothing but positive experiences being a patient here. I'm glad to have this hospital locally serving the SFV community.

My gastroenterologist is here and amazing !! Even the he's part time Panorama makes sure to have good Doctors. This location is huge and pretty much every building is walking distance. It's many parking structures for parking and it's free. I get good experience every time I come, and the service is fast. I do recommend this Kaiser and like the doctors here ! First off, this is long. I post the good, bad and ugly. This isn't good…read more Everyone at the Panorama facility has been nice and caring with the exception of the call centers. The Kaiser process breaks down when the patient is in the middle of care and sent home after surgery. Getting in touch with our surgeon was impossible. We had to start with the call center and explain everything each time to a new person what we needed. This makes it very difficult for families doing home care. My wife's surgeon did a wonderful job until he didn't. He sent her home without much follow-up and a terrible pain management plan. She should have been kept as an inpatient due to the amount of pain for her type of surgery. Dr. Stephen James Torres has poor bedside manner due to his absence.. He barely met with my wife post-op. Then the recovery nurse called and he prescribed another stronger medication while we were talking. However, this was another opiate. This would have had her on 2 opiates in rotation. The Pharmacist even had concerns for this pain management at home. We had to call "get care now " and that nurse recommended we don't rotate meds. She also said we should go back to ER. My wife toughed through this ordeal, but she shouldn't have had to deal with this at home. Demand another Dr and inpatient care for the safety of the patient. Oh! The cafeteria was decent.

I want to take a moment to sincerely thank Charles Robinson, RN, at Mission Community Hospital for…read morethe exceptional care he provided to my uncle and to our family. I came in person on the 29th and had the privilege of meeting Charles. He had been my uncle's nurse from the very beginning, and from our first interaction it was clear how dedicated he is. He was communicative, informative, patient, and attentive, taking the time to explain things clearly and making sure all our concerns were addressed. When I left that day, I felt a deep sense of peace and confidence knowing my uncle was truly in good hands. On the 30th, we were blessed to have Charles again. When I called the nurse's station, he went above and beyond by asking the nurse to give me his work phone number so I could communicate directly with him. That level of compassion, accessibility, and commitment is rare and meant so much to our family during a stressful time. Mission Community Hospital is truly blessed to have Charles Robinson on their team. He exemplifies what it means to provide above-and-beyond nursing care, and he absolutely deserves recognition for his professionalism, kindness, and dedication to his patients and their families.

THIS REVIEW IS A DUPLICATE TAKEN MADE ON A DUP ACCOUNT BY MISTAKE…read more Mission Community Hospital Probably the worst medical experience I have ever had. I recently visited this hospital which from what I could tell mostly catering to the indigent population. This hospital is right in my own back yard and I never even knew it was there. Wait times were excessively long for what seemed like no reason. I was there for two days and most of the staff seemed to be goofing off instead of tending to patients. My regular hospital is Cedar Sinai. There I get bombarded with a request for my birthday every 15 minutes. It is considered a secondary form ID, which is required by law. I was never asked once for mine here even though blood was drawn, X-rays were taken, I was asked to pee in a cup and I was given medication. I i'm showing this wristband with little worry because the information is so far from being correct that it doesn't matter. No one ever noticed. I guess there, close enough is good enough. Employees kept asking me questions without identifying who they were and then got mad when I asked. My name is not correct, Neither is my birthday. By law those are the two major identifiers which must be confirmed before any action can be taken. I know because I am a licensed phlebotomist. It is a low key medical facility masquerading as a hospital with low key staff that don't give a crap! The only correct information on this ID bracelet is my last name.

Was told I could do a walk in as long as I arrive by 5pm (they close at 6pm). We sped over. Walked through the doors at 4:59pm. Patiently waited for front desk to finish talking to patient in front of me to let her know I'm doing a walk in. It was exactly 5pm. She wouldn't take us. Not only would she not take us, she was SO INCREDIBLY MEAN!!! She looked like and sounded like she hates her job. Completely lost my business. Never coming back. Believe the other reviews that say the front desk makes it not worth coming here. Go to Care Fast Urgent Care down the street instead. Front desk has always been polite there. Took a photo proving I was there in time, because I already had a feeling she would try to deny me.
