Dr. Jose's team and Dr. Torres's team made sure I was comfortable and relaxed from the time I stepped in the door to scheduling my next appointment. Instead of expressing sympathy and consideration they backlashed me with their policy. They talked to me so rudely in front of my 9 year old. Office manager took employee's side and didn't believe a single word I said. I even told her to talk to my daughter who was my only eyewitness of the incident. This situation could have been avoided if they would have just shown some sympathy towards my health and circumstances. We even discussed what type of anesthetic options we wanted. No one ever reached out to advice he come on an empty stomach or go over pre op or post op instructions. It's only cause I work in the field that I knew what to do. But if it was someone else I fear they would waste their time here. Our appointment was scheduled for 12pm. However we were not moved to the back until 1pm. My husband was given an oral versed and typically orally sedated patients should have someone with them in the room the entire time for safety reasons. However we waited another hour and a half before I finally ask how much longer we'd have to wait and were told it would be another hour! At this point the sedation medicine is wearing out. And I can guarantee if I wasn't in the room with my husband no one would have been. Which worries me because again, he was sedated! And realistically I don't expect a business that's already fallen so behind schedule to have a staff member sit in a room for a whole hour and a half. When o finally asked to speak to the manager she came in and didn't even bother addressing me but rather spoke to my unconscious husband saying the doctor was coming in. Is and proceeded to escort me out. I went to my car and came back in due to fear that they left him alone. I had the front desk check that someone was actually inside with him, if not so I can just reschedule him. They assured me they were getting started now and guess what.... They finished in 20 minutes..... they didn't even bother calling me to let me know! My husband was the one who texted me to say he was done. Again, I'm a surgical assistant for a GOOD oral surgeon and this is 100% not the experience I'd want for my own patients, let alone my loved ones!!!

When he injected the local anesthetic into my cheek, I was surprised by how gentle he was and how painless the anesthetic was. He made sure to not rush the injection so it wouldn't hurt. He also found another cavity while doing my first filling and filled it for me while I was already numb, which I am grateful for. He took the time with me afterwards to answer all of my questions. The front desk staff and dental hygienists at this dental practice are also friendly, nice, and thorough - shout out to Evelyn, my favorite hygienist! There's plenty of parking at both the Gaithersburg and Kensington locations, just a narrow entry into both parking lots.

The facility is very clean and I've personally witnessed the staff wipe down all equipment prior to and after each patient visit. There's a nice stream of background music they play as well which is nice. There's a private lot in the back for convenient parking and street parking out in front. I am disputing the insurance claim and will do what I can to protect myself from a fraudulent insurance claim and refusal to refund my payment for services not rendered.
