She patiently listened to what I wanted and was extremely helpful in steering me to the right flowers for the person and the occasion. I set a budget and she worked within that. The flowers were delivered next day and they're stunning. They look much more beautiful than I could have imagined. Truly their floral arranger is an artist. The florist never told me they had low inventory that day and couldn't make what I requested, even though he had promised he could. A few days later, they texted me for a review. I called the store to try and resolve the issue directly. A woman asked me to text a picture of the arrangement and said her manager would call me back the next day. No one called. When I followed up with a text, she was super rude, telling me not to contact her personal phone, which she was the one who gave me. I had to call the store again. I spoke to the original person who took my order, and he admitted they had been discussing it. He offered only a 20% discount and finally admitted they couldn't fulfill the order the way I wanted because of the low weekend inventory. I was extremely disappointed that I had to chase them down and that they had been discussing my complaint without bothering to call me. There was a complete failure in communication. The product was poor, the service was terrible, and I absolutely would not recommend this place.

The staff person working at the time did a great job, asking our budget and vision, and then creating a little white bouquet for the angel kitty. We got a vase for it to go in also. It was a lovely shop to browse while we waited for the bouquet to be made. I hope there are not more sympathy bouquets in my future but I wouldn't hesitate to visit Starflower for an arrangement for any reason again!

Amy and her team from Laurelhurst pulled out all the stops with our recent family wedding. From our early "flower planning meeting" months in advance to the delivery the day of the wedding, LF captured every dream the bride had for wedding flowers worthy of a magazine cover...The brides bouquet was a masterpiece, the bridal party bouquets had everyone commenting...the boutonners on the boys were so masculine, textured, colorful, fun and lively (nothing prom-ish about them)..and the cross they beautified for the arbor was beyond words. Add to that, their amazing flexibility ("is it too late to add another....? can you tuck in a yellow-rose-of-Texas for the Texas bride?...can I get some more hydrangeas?") and standard offer to let the wedding party order ala carte flowers at very reasonable prices, LF will be our go-to-flower-spot from here on out. My husband and I worked with Amy for our wedding flowers. At our initial consultation, Amy was super helpful with putting mini-bouquets together. She had so much knowledge about flowers, and what's in season when, and what looks good together. We had sunflowers and daisies without having it look too "country". Our theme was The Beatles, and Amy got the look down! I wasn't around during the delivery at the venue, but I heard it was quick and professional. Plus, Laurelhurst Florist is not open on Sundays and she STILL delivered! I would highly recommend Laurelhurst Florist. read more

On short order these wonderful florists created an exquisite custom boutonnière and wrist corsage with freesia, baby roses, lily of the valley and a lovely touch of iridescent ribbon. Most amazingly, it was the best price in town. I live in Arizona and it's tricky finding a good florist when you live out of state, so I go by these reviews.
