I ordered flowers from Sami's for a friend's 60th birthday. I decided to pay up to the extra large bouquet. It was $200. I'm attaching a picture that she sent me when the flowers arrived. I don't find anything there worth $200. It seems to be a lot of filler very few flowers. I don't find that there was any value to my cost. I will not order from this place again. When a customer asks for an extra large bundle, you could assume that it was a very special occasion. And this year is not much more than a face full of weeds and a few flowers poked in. read more

I went on google, and googled flowers to be delivered to the Denver airport. This website was the first one that showed up, and showed delivering to the airport. Also the location to deliver is outside of the airport so you don't have to enter the airport. I typed in the delivery address and paid $150. A couple of hours later I get a phone call stating the delivery guy was told he can't deliver and was told to exit. I looked outside and there was no delivery van. I said that's odd I don't even see him. I called back and asked where he was. The lady said, he didnt answer. Then I look at my email and there's a refund. I emailed asking if it was even attempted to be delivered. They said no. I responded and said why does it say that on google? And why did someone call me and pretend they were delivering. Remotely planning my mother's Celebration of Life from LA was a bit challenging. Sammy's Flowers came highly recommended! I requested a tall arrangement of pastels, roses, and seasonal flowers. I cannot say enough good things about Sammy's. Every single time I've ordered flowers from them, probably close to a dozen by now, they have been 10/10 perfection. I added a few photos of a few of the most recent orders. I get so happy hearing people gasp when they see them, the flowers are truly a show-stopper. They also seem to last forever!! Their style is so unique and high end, well worth the price. I usually order the medium size and they seem huge to me. I'm also always so impressed that they deliver way out in Gresham. I believe in supporting local businesses as much as possible. Not only do you typically receive a better product, but the service itself is far and above the mass chain facilities. Oh, how I was wrong this time around. I think the photos speak for themselves as to what I got vs. what I ordered. Now I understand the bouquets on the site are for inspiration only, and what is delivered may differ slightly. But for a complete arrangement to arrive as a vase of greens and semi-dead roses, I'd consider that a failure. I attempted to contact Sammy's, but my messages were ignored entirely. Thankful to have received a gorgeous Holiday Bouquet from Sammy's Flowers. I hadn't found a local florist, but after receiving one of Sammy's arrangements as a gift, I now have my go to florist. Arrangement had roses, holly berry branches, lily mapira, cranberry calla lily, etc. The arrangement dresses up any room (I keep moving it throughout the house to make a room feel more festive). A year ago, a dear friend of mine lost her dog shortly after moving out to Portland and was devastated by the loss, especially after just having gone through such a big change in her personal life. Well, today marked the one-year anniversary of her losing her best buddy, so I wanted to do something special for her to show that I remembered and that I was thinking of her. Enter Sammy's Flowers. I have used Sammy's Flowers multiple times in the past at my office for various situations that have come up (new baby, death of a loved one, etc), and have always been impressed with the people I've worked with over the phone. But I've never used them for something so personal before where I've gotten to see someone I know be on the receiving end of one of their beautiful arrangements. So this morning I called up Sammy's and was so happy to find out that they delivered out to West Linn, and that they could do it the same day as long as I got my order in by 11:00. The woman that answered the phone was so helpful and offered to help me place my order personally or told me I could also do it online. I ended up doing it online only because I didn't know what arrangement I wanted yet, and the ordering process was a breeze. So much easier than a typical 1-800-FLOWERS or the like. So I went ahead and placed my order, then waited for the recipient to get her flowers. About 4:00, I heard my iPhone ding with a new message. It was a text from my friend with a gorgeous picture of the flower arrangement (which I will attach to this review) saying "I can't stop crying, thank you from the bottom of my heart". So Sammy's, you nailed it! Mission accomplished. She said she felt so loved and cared for which was exactly what I was aiming for, and your flowers were even more beautiful than I'd hoped they would be. I will DEFINITELY continue to use your services again in the future, not just at our office, but in my personal life as well. I called several times to get a confirmation that the flowers et al I purchased online were delivered. I haven't ordered products that do not come with tracking in many years, so was surprised to learn I would not be notified on delivery. This is the second time I've ordered flowers from Sammy's and they did a great job both times. It's always iffy ordering arrangements over the phone or online but they made it easy. The photos attached show the "Irving St" bouquet on their website versus what was actually delivered (this was for my sick best friend in hospital). Their website was easy to use. A lot of other florists will use subpar flowers or make a smaller bouquet than what's pictured online but not Sammy's! My friend loved her flowers. I was disappointed with the flowers I custom ordered for our daughters birthday, I specified I wanted Purple & Yellow Roses (UW Husky colors). They said they would check and get back to me which they did. They said they had UW color roses, so I placed the order. When I got there to pick up I was extremely disappointed. The roses were mauve and cream, the only thing yellow was droopy yellow sunflowers which I hadn't asked for but was happy at least there was something the right color. I explained that this wasn't what I had ordered but the lady that was helping me didn't want to hear me, not friendly at all. I asked if she could add a few of the purple flowers they had in the store. She added three small stalks and charged me extra for it. I also paid extra for water tubes so the flowers would last until we got home to put in vase. I had to double check they had water in them since the flowers were already drooping. Way over priced for the quality of flowers and the lack of getting what I ordered. $56 for the flowers in the picture. I do not recommend this florist. read more

What a terrible day. Our daughter ordered flowers for Mother's Day. See called her Mom and told her that she will be getting a delivery on Sunday. So we stayed home all day waiting. About 3:30 she called her daughter and let her know nothing had showed up. Daughter then called Sammy's and was told they will check on order and get back to her. No one called her back and then they stopped answering the phone. About 7:30 pm a person did deliver a bunch of flowers. Not sure if this was in a delivery car all day or did they just grabbed a bunch of flowers from the trash. Some of the blooms where nice but most where brown and dropping. The person that delivered them never said anything about being so late. Hope you have better luck. Also the order was placed weeks before. It wasn't a last minute order. read more

We chose Sammy's to be our wedding florist because we always loved their stores and they're local! Their wedding specialist Rhea is extremely sweet, knowledgable and easy to work with. Her process of helping us build our theme and colors made it very stress-free. It only took a total of maybe an hour from start to finish between in-store meetings and phone calls for her to be able to pick exactly what we wanted. We had our wedding over the weekend and it was nothing short of amazing. The flowers looked more beautiful than any one of us could imagine and we were getting compliments all night. Rhea and her team showed up to our venue on time even through some parking challenges. I didn't have to ask any questions and they were in and out by the time I thought about them again. Oh flower delivery, how it can be such a pain at times. Every year I always send flowers to my B up there in Portland. Normally I will go through those third party websites which is either super dollar signs or the service was craptacular. This year I opt to just call the florist myself and order. I needed a Monday morning delivery, decided to go to my trusty yelp website on a late Saturday morning and found Sammy's Flowers. The woman that I spoke to on the phone was so helpful and worked well with my budget. I chose the Irving (Irvine? Forgot) and went for the smaller box bouquet instead of the medium. I mentioned that my lovely bestie likes that whole rustic feel so she said she will make sure my B will heart it. The price was very reasonable and they wrote a lovely note for me. Monday morning, the flowers delivered on time and they were absolutely gorgeous. I was so pleased on her many texts on how lovely of a job they have done on the flowers.
