The reception area is compact yet peaceful, and my recent visits have been at 8 a.m., so I've been greeted with really nice early-morning energy. One detail I really appreciated: Dr. Baysac has a photo book of her travels to Honduras near the reading materials by the window. I highly recommend taking a look while you wait. But it took Marina THREE separate times to place crowns the same shape as my other teeth. See their attempt #1 below. Yes, they built and placed those two fangs in the back. How does a dental office let someone leave looking like Dracula with misplaced fangs, let alone, actually designing and building them in-office. Fast forward to gaslight city. For example, with this screw up, I was told by their COO (her husband) that 'I should have looked in the mirror after they were placed. Who doesn't look in the mirror?' My bad for trusting you knew what you were doing. Toal lack of any accountability and tons of excuses like my bite, other crowns were placed by other dentists...what?? That's an obstacle??? NEXT, within hours of the final crown placement, a 'COINCIDENTAL' break of a healthy, existing, adjacent crown (cracked clean off) occurred, leaving me with a missing front tooth, costing me $6K to repair. And Marina took ZERO accountability for any part, claimed it was entirely coincidental and to get a second opinion. I did for $400 out of pocket, but then Dr. Benjamin refused to call me back to discuss what I had learned. Nothing in this review is mis-information, exaggeration or has a 'two sides to every story' circumstance. They will blame it all on my bite or say they have no record of me. The cleaning was fine and x-rays were fine they were free with a Delta dental advantage connected to my Kaiser plan. However I pay for extra treatment that I really didn't need some antibiotics for my teeth. It wasn't the fact that I spent the extra money one time, it's a fact that I cancel an appointment and was going to go back on my next cleaning to have them look at it again because it's out of my pocket. I canceled the second appointment and was going to rebook when it was time, but they keep harassing me by phone and by text and I don't appreciate it. Their office on mission Street is not very accessible you have to go up a big flight of stairs I don't see any elevator or any handicap accessibility although there might be some that I'm not familiar with. They're upsell tactics are harassment and I don't really appreciate it. I'm not going to spend my money this way. I go to UCSF dental school and I've been getting fine treatment for over 10 years I'm going back and stick with it.
