I showed up in Laurie's chair (so long ago now I don't even remember 6+ years) with what my friends and I liked to call troll doll hair....beyond damaged from lots of careless bleaching by others of my naturally dark brown hair to platinum blonde. Laurie is absolutely hands down the best in the business! Like many of her other clients, I've followed her through her career to different salons for the last 11 years. She is a master in all aspects of styling, color and my favorite extensions. When I moved out of state to AZ the third largest city, I was sure I could find a new stylist that matched Laurie's expertise. You would think Scottsdale, AZ would be able to compete. I found Laurie through my best friends Michelle and Sarah. One gets extensions ALL the time and the other goes in for color and cuts almost every two months. Ladies looking for extensions... Look no further. Laurie is your girl. I GOt my extensions done somewhere else and it was a total mistake. My hair was bad. It was ugly and you could see the line of my hair in the extensions. Laurie is a serious miracle worker. I love her. She turned my swamp witch hair (it literally looked like I was rolling around the mud with alligators) into a beautiful mane. She also gave me detailed instructions on how to take care of the extensions and was very knowledgeable about what products I should be using when I asked her. They do require some upkeep which she gave me tips on how to make them last as long as they should. The best part about going to her is her willingness to work with you. I had literally 10 different ideas I was interested in and just didn't know what direction to go. She was very willing to work with my price range as well. Which is awesome because I just spent over $500 for hair that was basically going to be a waste. We ended up reusing my extensions and just added some highlights in and she cut it to help blend the hair better. My hair is so beautiful. It is unbelievable how good it turned out. Laurie is amazing! I recently chopped my long hair extremely short, and while growing it out let another stylist cut layers into it which really just made me miserable (my fault, not the stylists). I saw Laurie had great reviews on Yelp for extensions and called her at some ungodly hour desperate to have my hair long again. Laurie texted me back a few hours later and offered to see me that day for a quick consultation to be sure she could blend the extenstions with my layers. Two days later she fit me in, had the extensions in my hair blended perfectly with all my layers, AND matched the color to mine perfectly. Fast forward a couple of weeks, and I seemed to have pulled two of the extensions out - Laurie squeezed me in and had me out the door in 5 minutes!
