I didn't see any matts, but was alarmed by her attitude. And made it seem like "life and death" and told me that she had a friend who had a mobile business and could be at my house that day. The woman charged me $150 to groom a 14 lb dog who was already clean and had no matts and didn't need to be shaved. The next month my dog was having ongoing indigestion issues. When I arrived a young girl, who looked to be a teenager, began asking me questions that I had already discussed over the phone before my arrival. I told her politely that the vet already had this info. The staff member left and returned with Then Dr DJ, who charged into the room and accused me of being rude and disrespectful to her to staff. She was so aggressive that I was in complete shock. I told Dr DJ that I did not appreciate how she was speaking to me and that it was completely unprofessional on her part, and that I had not been rude to her staff. That is when Dr DJ informed me that she would review the video footage. I was floored by this statement! It is illegal in the Commonwealth of Virginia to record someone on video with sound without their consent. This was very creepy and completely outrageous to me. I apologized to the young staff member, saying that my intention had never been to be rude to her. It was all quite bizarre. In retrospect I should have filed a complaint, but I let it go and immediately changed vets. DO NOT take your pet to this facility. I switched to Aquila Garrisonville and have never been happier. They are professionals and very caring about my dogs.

No one ever contacted my husband or me, and nothing has been resolved. Claiming outreach and resolution that never happened is unacceptable. There is no accountability, no real follow-through, and no effort to correct the issue. It feels like everyone is on the same page when it comes to avoiding responsibility rather than actually helping clients or their pets. Do not -- and I repeat, do NOT -- go to the Stafford location. The staff there are rude, dismissive, and show very little compassion or concern. When it comes to your pet's care, you deserve professionalism, communication, and respect -- none of which I experienced here. Extremely disappointing experience!!!!!

This is towards the groomers I went earlier to drop off my dog for a cleaning. We waited for 20…read moreminutes just to get checked in because the person at the check-in took 20 minutes, and probably longer, just to check in a small dog, making my pet restless from waiting and seeing all the people and dogs. The lady who checked me in was nice, and I had her last time, and she remembers my dog too; it only took me 2 minutes to check in. Though I wasn't given a time when my dog would be done, all they said was they would call when they were done, which could be an hour or two, but I wouldn't know. I have been to a groomer before, and they told me the time my dog would be done by, because if I was busy and I just found out I had to pick my dog up, I might end up picking my pet up late instead of giving me at least an estimated time frame so I know I should clear my schedule to be ready. When I picked my dog up, there wasn't really a wait besides when they put the leash on her, and they even gave my dog a bandana, and my pet even smelled good. So overall I would've of given this a 5 star if it wasnt for the guy having me wait 20 minutes the service was fantastic and quick besides the guy at check in.
