Our old thai restaurant closed down in Keeau and we've been on a hunt for a new thai place. We happen to see this stand on the side of the road and decided to try it out. We easily found parking. I had the vegetable coconut curry and my husband got the papaya salad and pad thai noodles. Everything was made to order and was pretty fast, the staff was friendly and helpful. My curry was really good and creamy it was a large portion that I took it home and finished the rest. The papaya salad was very refreshing. Our pad thai was really good but the noodles were a bit overcooked and a too sweet for my taste. Next time I wanna try to see if I can get it a little less sweet. But overall I wanna try more next time we are on the island. read more

My husband usually orders yellow curry but since that wasn't an option he ordered their pumpkin curry. He loved it. We came on a Saturday evening and missed out on the avocado summer rolls and mango rice, all sold out. That tells you what's popular and we need to come back. Definitely a must try if in the area. The Experience-- Residing in a roadside lot that is easy to enter in an open air covered hut-type building, the food is prepared in a clean, very organized pop up kitchen. People flock to this place so I recommend calling in your order ahead of time. There were a number of orders ahead of us so they quoted a 40 min wait (which turned out to be 30). We are so glad we waited. They call you when it's ready so we were able to sit in our car. There were only a few small tables and must customers picked up their order and took it home. The cost was reasonable for the amount and quality. They package your order carefully to avoid leaks from the to-go boxes. The Staff-- they could not have been nicer! Linda, the cook that is cooking your meal is an awesome chef. She makes all her own sauces from her own families recipes and they are so good. I look at the menu but always go to Pad Thai with chicken and her sauce is one of if not the best sauce for this. It is so good she could bottle it and sell it..she probably should! Go by or call in ahead..it's worth your time to try it. BTW the rest of the women there are great chefs in their own right..I just know Linda's food because that is what I eat. EVERYTHING is fantastic!! I'm a noodle junkie, so I usually get Pad See Ew. Sometimes I'll get Phad Kapao (pork w/fried egg...OMG!!). My wife goes for the curries. The food is made fresh to order and the flavors are bright and intense. I love the cashew chicken and the pineapple curry. I've had tofu and chicken. Did not like the texture of the shrimp so I've stuck with the others. The summer rolls are fresh and the peanut sauce is thick and delicious.
