They moved with no forwarding information and I never received my Meta Glasses that I paid for SCAM.

They seem to be permanently closed. My son ordered and paid for contacts and didn't get them either to the tune of $300! I wish this practice would have told us the lab's information so that we could get the contacts somehow before shutting down!!?? Loved the doctor! The techs were awful. read more

I have had the worst experience with this facility then I've even had with any medical facility. Had my exam on Jan. 9th this year. Everyone was very friendly and helpful getting the exam done and glasses ordered. So far good experience. Glasses came in about three weeks later and that's when everything went South. The second I put my glasses on I knew the prescription was wrong. Doctor told me to give it a week and if they still feel off come in and he'll replace them. Gave the glasses a week but couldn't wear them for even an hour. Went in and the Doctor told me that they had written the prescription wrong when ordering and will order new ones. Just what I wanted to hear. I was also told that it would take three weeks. No worries as that was excreted. After two months of waiting, never getting a call to up date me and me calling in only to be told "they should be in next week" I still don't have glasses. I finally gave up on Laveen LASIK and asked for a refund which they gave me. Well except for the exam. WAIT....this saga continues. I go over to Vision Works to order glasses. They look at my prescription and ask is this correct as they are comparing to the one I had done at Vision Works last year. It seemed to be way different. So Vision Works suggests that we make the glasses with Laveen LASIKs prescription since they have a guarantee and if it comes back wrong then they will remake at no change. It only told Vision Works one week to get my glasses back today however, sure enough, Laveen LASIK had the prescription wrong from the start. This is a man you're trusting with your eye site. This is a medical facility you are trusting with your eye site. I will never trust this doctor or facility again and I suggest anyone considering going here take a second look. Oh and by the way Laveen LASIK will not even refund me for the exam they got wrong. Way to stand behind your service Dr. Torrence Watkins OD. read more

Great experience from scheduling the appointment with Christina all the way to ordering my glasses and contacts with Veronica. Dr. Watkins was very knowledgeable and communicative and made me comfortable with his expertise. They had availability the next day so it made it easy for a procrastinator like me. There are lots of options in glasses and contacts as well as price ranges available. I am new to this area and usually travel back to the Tempe/Chandler locations but I am happy I gave Laveen Total Eye Care a try. I visited this location after one of my colleagues recommended it and I am so glad I went to them for one of the most important surgeries of my life. I've been using glasses since I was 9 years old and never thought that I could see without glasses again. Honestly, I do not know where to start! The team at this location is INCREDIBLE and so friendly. From the techs to Dr. Watkins. I came in for my LASIK surgery procedure and the whole process was so smooth. Dr. Watkins was so assuring that everything was going to be okay without being dismissive of my fears or condescending. At the initial consultation, Dr. Watkins was very clear about what the process would look like and explained every detail of the recovery process. As well as the cost of the procedure. After two months of my visit I decided to book my appointment. The day prior to my surgery Dr. Watkins answered any last minute questions I had even though I had already asked him the same questions like 10x. He even put in my prescription though the phone so that I had my drops before the surgery the next day. Now, the day of the surgery I met Dr. Fintelmann and he was just absolutely amazing! He was kind and friendly. Even though he has done thousands of procedures he explained every single step of the procedure. The procedure took like 15minutes overall. I could keep writing more, but overall it's been a week after my procedure and I am back at work and out and about enjoying my new HD vision. Dr Watkins and his team were great throughout my consultation and lasik procedure. Dr Watkins made sure I was informed in my decision to get lasik. The procedure was easy and I felt at ease during the whole process. My recover went well with very minimal if any discomfort. My only regret is that I didn't have the procedure done sooner. If you are even a little interested in lasik go see Dr Watkins and have a consultation so you can educate yourself on the processes. Best in Phoenix! My family has been going to Laveen LASIK and Total Eyecare for over 6 years now for our glasses and contact lens needs since we moved to the area. Dr. Watkins is still the best eye-doctor in the world. I wouldn't go to anyone else again. I tried being cheap a few times and only ended up paying more in the long run because the prescriptions were wrong or the product was not good. I don't mean to imply he is expensive by saying I looked for cheap places a couple times; his prices are very reasonable and competitive with other good eye-doctors. :-) Dr. Watkins is very thorough and takes his time explaining everything . This is the ABSOLUTE WORST EYE DOCTOR AND EYE CARE FACILITY I HAVE EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE. Stay away from this place!! Especially if you want your contacts or glasses before 2 months! The dr put me in the totally wrong size contacts and bc it took so long for them to even come in I went and ordered them online. They fit horribly and bc is the already 2 month wait to avoid going through that again I went to a different eye dr and got the correct fit immediately. Also I had given them a pair of $250 Coach frames to get my new glasses rx put in and they completely damaged those. They refuse to help me out with any of THEIR mistake. Although the Optometrist is fantastic & office help is friendly. The time to wait for my prescription glasses was 7 to 10 business days. I was not pleased to have a call a hour before closing for a 4 day weekend!!!! To have to wait extra 4 days after the 10. I am not thrilled, I was suffering from headaches!! Great customer service, and the exams are quick (their equipment is very 'high-tech'). I did my homework on optometrists that were contracted with my insurance and this office seemed to be the best fit. I called ahead and asked what to expect with the costs and gave them my insurance and they were able answer most of my questions and the questions they couldn't - they would call the insurance company and get back to me. They did. So, I went to the appointment to get contacts, and and everything was going well, until they told me what my portion would be --- at the end. It was not close to what was given to me over the phone. So, I said I would not be paying and I gave them the "free pair" they gave me back and they said they wouldn't be charging my insurance for the visit. Lies. I tried to set up an appointment with another optometrist, and they were, in fact, charged. When I called the office back to get a copy of the prescription that they charged my insurance for - they had "no record" or it and they said that they could give my my eyeglass rx but the contact rx did not exist. So, here I am - unable to get an insurance paid contact lens exam for over 6 months due to this office who swears they do not have it. Do yourself a favor and find another office that would not do this to their patients. I am just mad at myself, that i recommended them to others based upon my eyeglass experience the previous year. read more

I honestly dont know where to start. I took my one year old in because she was having trouble breathing, after waiting for 45 minutes, we finally were taken back to be seen where the doctor spent maybe 3 minutes with us and sent us away with "its a cold". 2 days later my daughter was still breathing funny and I took her into the pediatrician to find out she has Bronchitis. I preceded to ask how bad it was and our doctor said it was definitely not the early stages. Not only was the doctor completely wrong, he could have really caused damage to my daughters health. Amongst the misdiagnosis, the front office staff was incompetent and rude to not only my family and I, but to other patients and customers as well. I would have thought just simple customer service skills would be there but I was so wrong. Never will I recommend this Urgent Care, and never will I ever take my child or myself back there. read more
