Unfortunately, I have to be in a Wi-Fi area in order to use my phone like that. And they don't have Wi-Fi. I needed very specific things size wise. And you're not allowed to open packaging but when you pick up a lamp and you lightly shake it and you hear broken glass, but you're not allowed to open up the package and see what exactly broke why bother buying it at half price if you're not gonna be able to use it. This happened repeatedly also I was looking for a specific size bathroom medicine cabinet. Since much of the writing on the boxes didn't have dimensions, and I couldn't open the boxes because it's against the rules. I could find boxes that I think might've had the right sized item inside but I really couldn't take the gamble especially when I can't see if they're scratches or dents or a door ripped off, etc. I think the only thing I will come back here for is tile. If you're doing a craft project and you need a few pieces of tile or you're doing something special to cover a table top and you only need a few feet. This is the place to come for the tile. Unfortunately, the majority of the tile is not labeled and not priced and I hate having to run up to the counter every single time I find something to find out how much it's gonna cost. It's just ridiculous. I found a similar place, not too far away, where the people don't mind if you open the items to look at them and they will even go so far as to take a light fixture and wire it to a test area to show you that it works. So I think I will keep going to this other place instead.

I find Lowes to be more approachable for the at-home DIYer. Plus this location is convenient to Phoenix South Mountain Residents whereas Home Depot is a bit of a drive.

He didn't just help, he actually cared. Took his time, explained everything, and made sure I wasn't wasting money. That's how I got to deal with Jonathan in person. As I got rung up at the counter, Drew (he was at the neighboring cash register) asked about one of my co-workers. Aww, isn't it great when workers remember their customers? All in all, great customer service from Brian & Jonathan. Bonus for Drew remembering my co-worker. Store is clean and well-stocked. Although their online inventory shows certain items as "in stock", I would call the store if the quantities are pretty close to what you need.

David took me to their wood by the pound area and I was in heaven- reclaimed old barn wood everywhere- you name, they have it! Bags, boxes, ziplock bags, shade screen, outdoor canvas etc. For the higher end needs let's say your fabric covered gazebo top has been destroyed by sun, you bring the measurements down to them pick out your fabric and they can sew it up for you. Or as in my case I needed some shade cloth at 30-50% shade To cover some tropical trees until I get bigger. I was able to find exactly what I needed Cheaper than anywhere else including Amazon. If you're a gardener check out their harvesting knives they're inexpensive and perfect for harvesting your vegetables or cutting off weeds just under the soil line. Also they have a remnant bin from when they have had to sew something up for somebody there's always leftover pieces. These pieces end up being extremely cheap I think it's sold a dollar per pound? I was able to get a huge piece of shade screen for 3 large windows for about seven dollars. (There isnt a cutting fee at the remnant bin, you take the whole section you want) I definitely suggest going on their website first if you know exactly what you want, then call in your order.... note there will be a cutting fee Per cut, so if you need three identical pieces just get one long piece and cut it down yourself this will save you a few cut fees. Also ordering online will keep you from having to stand around waiting while they can get to cutting your piece for you. (First come first serve). The location is very handy too because it's very close to the freeway.
