My first experience with Lavender Bridal Salon was at a pop up shop at a bridal show. This was the first time I tried on bridal dresses. I was so disappointed. Not one dress they had brought fit. These were all sample sale dresses for sale "as is" with very limited options. The employee at the show insisted if I came to their shop I would not be disappointed. In the meantime I visited two other bridal shops. One I loved (Elyse's) and had even picked out a dress there. Amazing service, great selection. The other shop (David's) I hated. Poor service and employee attitudes. This brings me to Lavender Bridal Salon. I went there with my mom and aunt. We arrived on a weekday when they opened. We were offered water and coffee and given a tour of the store. It is HUGE. There were soooo many dresses to choose from. My attendant LuAnn was wonderful! She made me feel welcome and during our consultation she listened to my dress preferences. She gave us free reign to pull out and try on as many dresses as I wanted. The size options ranged from I believe 2-22. Plenty to choose from for most women. She was able to get me (size 10/12) into dresses size 6-18 without any problems. I think I tried on about 16 dresses then found "The One". It was a little different than what I initally pictured myself wearing so I encourage everyone to try on different styles and colors. I wore that dress in the shop for over an hour. We played with veils and accessories to get an idea of a final look. My aunt took lots of photos so I was able to also see how each dress photographed. We were there for a total of about four hours. I felt no pressure to purchase and actually waited a few days to call the shop for my first payment. Lavender Bridal Salon also offers Layaway and a package that includes a garment bag, storage until your date, and final steaming. Dress prices seemed to range from a few hundred dollars to about $2,000. The shop also carries shoes, bridesmaid, mothers, and other accessories. My shopping experience at Lavender Bridal was really incredible. I called to book a fitting appointment and was able to get in the same week. When I arrived, I was promptly greeted, checked in, and began looking through the different styles of dresses with my consultant, Courtney. She was very knowledgeable about the styles and was able to pick dresses she thought I'd love. I had no idea what I was doing, but Courtney made me feel comfortable and lead the way. After picking a slew of dresses, we went into the fitting room to try them on. I had Courtney's undivided attention which made me feel cared for and excited about going through this experience. During my time trying dresses on, another consultant, Frankie, became available and offered her assistance as well. The ladies worked together to pick out a few things that I never would have picked myself, and I quickly fell in love with a dress! I was able to work with the manager, Brandan, on a price point and was able to purchase my dress that day! I couldn't believe how kind and attentive the staff were at Lavender. A lot of bridal shops just churn people out, pressure them to buy things out of their price range, and don't give the attention a nervous bride to be needs. That was not the case at all at Lavender! Everyone was truly wonderful, the atmosphere was calm and relaxed, and I left with my dream dress! This boutique was a wonderful experience, start to finish. I can't recommend them enough! I live in the Cleveland area and drove over an hour to visit them, which ended up being so worth it! So even if you live a bit of drive away, it is worth your time to go and check them out. I would rate this place 10 stars if I could! We ordered our bridesmaid dresses through another store (Unusual Junction/Universal Bridal), got sized and everything, and then called in to order the other bridesmaid dresses with the sizes and information. We also received phone calls with when the dresses where in the store and phone calls about the shipping, etc. Well when we went to pick them up at the store, they had no idea about anything!!! Said we never ordered them or anything, with 1 month until the wedding!!!! And then they were rude and didn't really try to fix anything. So we had to frantically call around and try and find samples that other stores would have on the floor. The first store I called was lavenders, and they were soooo helpful! I talked to someone named Luann and she went and found all the samples they had and gave me the sizes and style numbers. She also gave me some other places that I should try to find the specific dresses which was very helpful. Then when I called back to put a deposit on one of the dresses, she had already pulled the dresses and was holding them out for us until we could come see them, and she also called a friends store in Toledo, and told me that we could have the remaining dresses we were looking for sent to the dover store for us. So far beyond what she had to do, and so helpful! She also was willing to.stay late to meet with us to pick up the dresses because of our work schedules. Beyond 5 stars!!!! read more

I have gone to five bridal salons and Lavender was by far the best. They are friendly, affordable, and willing to go above and beyond to help you find your dress. They have so many wedding gown options that between my two visits I tried on more than 15 dresses and all were within my budget and were stunning. I'm also giving them a five star review because after having a terrible experience at another salon they picked up the phone two minutes before closing to look up dress styles that were similar to one that I liked. I worked with Courtney and LuAnn at my visits and both were amazing. Every employee was friendly and made me feel beautiful. My daughter ordered a dress from this salon and ALL of the staff always showed great enthusiasm and care in every step of the way. Unfortunately, the original dress did not end up fitting correctly (manufacturer error and some weight gain), but right away helped her get another dress (that actually ended up being the one everyone envisioned for her) and were very much about solving the issue and went out of their way to get everything just right. We had a very pleasing experience with staff. Mother of the bride bought a dress from Lavender Bridal first and then our daughter went shopping there. They were very attentive to her and her wishes. She did not buy a dress here but she was very pleased with her experience. My wife on the other hand was very pleased with the peacock dress and especially with the service that Vonda provided with alterations. read more

I've visited a fair number of bridal salons at this point, and my experience shopping for a wedding gown at Lavender Bridal was by far the most pleasant. Laurel and other members of staff were kind, attentive, and honest, and the selection was great. Definitely worth the trip! read more
