Avocado Toast
Alora M.

My friend was visiting from California and she wanted to see the Everglades. I have friends in Naples so we decided to base out of there. We had an early morning start and the closest restaurant in our direction of travel was this one so we decided to try it.... so glad we did. You can tell right away that this is a local favorite. So many people came in and seemed to be known to the staff. The decor is simple and comfortable. The waitstaff super friendly. And, the food is pretty good too. I ordered the steak benedict while my friend ordered their avocado toast. All of the ingredients were fresh and had great flavor. The steak was juicy, well-cooked and seasoned. Also, the portion was generous. The grits were, well, grits. That's why I always ask for cheese to be put on grits in restaurants. The hollandaise sauce had just the right tang and held together nicely. My friend stated her avocado toast was very good and the arugula on top "elevated" her avocado toast experience. Prices were reasonable. Make sure to get there early on the weekend. We went early (730) on a Sunday morning and within about 45 minutes the restaurant started to really fill up. So go, walk in, choose a seat and enjoy some great food and service.

Not impressed at all. I had the Reuben sandwich, which was OK! The service lacks a lot of attention. Once the food is brought to you, no one ever came back to my table, even though I had a empty drink glass sitting on the edge. I asked for my tickets so I can pay and leave. It a very long time to just get my ticket. It is very loud, I understand with all the northern people down here that they're busy, but they should never be so busy that they neglect a customer.

Delicious food, always fresh ingredients. Servers are attentive and always smiling and the ambience it's just gorgeous.

Sweet potato fries are so good and crunchy. Tuna melt on rye.

Hot New place that is Amazing! Day 3 since they opened! So close to Isles of Collier Preserve - RESIDENTS and a must try! I had several options for vegans and gluten free. Open 7-3 daily! Mela the owner the amazing and super friendly. They have a bar as well. For the first week, it was run so well! I will be back for sure.

Initially, the service was slow, and I'm not sure if it was because of how busy it was. We got our water quick but drinks and pita took a good 10minutes. It's not a quiet place, as they are busy, but worth the wait and trying the food. We ordered the Beirut platter and a mixed kabob platter. Both were portioned for 1 person each and it was so delicious. I would recommend!! We also tried the baklava, which was perfect in every bite. It wasn't super sweet or dry.

For the first couples of years we dined here at least 3-4 X per season, but have stopped coming since after Covid for no particular reason. We came back for the first time in years, and were reminded how Outstanding the food is. You start off with the puffy bread. OMG!! The best bread ever. Comes out warm. Yummy. Then we had to get our favorite appetizer. It's Chef Rachid sampler platter and has a variety of mezzes. I highly recommend this appetizer to try different samplings of Turkish food. Be aware though, this sampler is eggplant heavy with 4 different preparations. All is delicious. 2 -3 types of hummus. The original is tasty, but we loved the beet one. See picture for the different samplings. For dinner, I had the branzino special; whole fish fillet. My husband had the half chicken. Both were delicious. Honestly the food is what you would expect in a high-end "chefy" restaurant - it was that well prepared with special spices. The vibe of this restaurant is very casual, with ceiling exposed with exhaust pipe running across. Seating is tight, especially for 2 people. Though the food is outstanding, we wouldn't bring out of town guests here who want to get a Naples experience. It would be great take-out however. They opened up a takeout counter since we were here last. Good idea. It was crowded the night we came, and have always been in prior years we have dined here. In future, we may just take-out if we can't get a table. The prices are reasonable. If they upgraded their dining decor, they could probably charge more. However, I don't think they are trying to compete with the 5th Avenue restaurants. For the most part, service was very good. Sophia was our waitress and she was exceptional. One of the waiters gave us a detailed explanation of each of the mezzes. The lady at the front desk reception was professional but not friendly. She sat us in a small 2 seater when there were open 4 tops. From a business perspective, I understand that they wanted to keep it open for guests with larger numbers than a couple. However, it makes dining not as comfortable. Overall, very good experience and will definitely come back. The food really is that good.

Dining outdoors was such a nice touch, especially with the live violinist playing throughout the evening, it really elevated the atmosphere and made the night feel special. I will say, if you're sitting outside, you may want to bring or use some mosquito repellent (I left with a few bites on my leg), but it didn't take away from the overall experience. The lasagna I ordered was absolutely delicious, rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made us feel well taken care of all evening. To top it off, they surprised my friend with a complimentary slice of pistachio cake for her birthday. It was so good I would've ordered one for myself if I hadn't already been so full! Definitely recommend for a special occasion or a lovely night out in Naples.

The drinks, while a bit pricey for some of the options, were on point as well. The service was just OK - they were not at capacity by far and we had to wait quite a bit to order another round of drinks or pay the bill. The negative experience - apparently they do not clean the chairs. Please check before you sit down. My new dress is basically going into the trash because I sat in a pool of olive oil or who knows what else someone decided to wipe on that chair and the entire back side of my dress is one huge greasy stain!! Thank goodness the restaurant is located in a mall and I was able to go to a store to purchase a new outfit. We made our server aware of the situation but all we got was a quick apology and no other effort to make things right. Overall, just disappointed in how they handled this situation. I walked out of the place in a bad mood, lost a beautiful new dress and had to spend another $70 on a fresh outfit - sorry the food was good and all but not worth this aggravation.

MEDITERRANEAN NIGHT…read more Enjoyed a light, tasty meal for my final birthday din din with one of my bestest gal pals at Amfora in Coconut Point. An open kitchen concept that is bright and roomy. Not my favorite decor in the world but extremely nice service! I craving something fresh & healthy after a holiday bonanza of food - we decided on Mediterranean cuisine and knowing Amfora is consistently delicious, we landed here! Their Grand Mezze platter offers creamy greek cheeses, hummus, baba ghnoush, and marinated peppers and olives. Really great offering! Then we split the Beet Salad with poppyseeds, walnuts, goat cheese, and pomegranate dressing - YUM! The blue crab gnocchi with saffron sauce was to die for (although I didn't understand the corn in there!) They even provided a scrumptious, decadent piece of their homemade tiramisu for my bday dessert - CHEERS TO 29 (again)
