Before going to EJ's, I was not thrilled. I am not normally keen on diner food or sitting outside, however I my opinion was revered after an exceptional experience by EJ's. The atmosphere outdoors was a pleasant temperature for a mid summer day. The best part to me, was the food. I got the chicken mozzarella panini, and I will say, there is no better chicken mozzarella panini in Naples that I have had. It was amazing. Our server was kind and diligent and always made sure I had water in my water glass. Overall great experience and couldn't be more please with EJ's. Recommend to all! read more

My friend and I came here to get food to go since we were in a hurry. They weren't busy though so could've ate in. The cafe was really cute. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We both did the breakfast sandwiches, I did the one with bacon and no cheese and my friend did it with sausage and cheese and then roasted potatoes on the side. Overall, super good. I wish there was a bit more salt, cause it would've made it more favorable. read more

Decent breakfast spot. We've always had good, accommodating service. They do some "specialty" items that are pretty good like the cinnamon-apple French toast. I'm partial to their bacon eggs benedict and biscuits and gravy. Get there early if you want to sit outside; because of the sun angle the outdoor seating area can get hot early. read more

The food here was very good - the apple stuffed French toast was incredible. The cinnamon roll was also great and I enjoyed the potatoes. The service was incredible as well. A cute spot more for locals than their other location on the water. Same menu at both places though. read more

Good food and service, but buyer beware. My Turkey club was bland and uninspired, but my wife really enjoyed her eggs Benedict and my daughter her breakfast sandwich so l am going to give them credit and assume generally speaking their food is good. While our specific waitress was hard to track down when refills or other small things were needed, other waitresses were willing to jump in and help as our was just so busy trying to keep up. The service here was generally friendly and they are here to help ensure a good experience. The problem was with hidden and inaccurate charges on the bill. First, they do not calculate the tips correctly. Despite my immediate waitress not being very attentive l chose to tip 18% because everyone was still friendly and I know these workers rely on that money. The problem, 18% of $57.50 is not $11.36. Even if you calculate the tip on the post tax amount-which is incorrect as you should never be tipping on government taxes but tons of dishonest restaurants do this- it still would not be $11.36. So where did they come up with $11.36? One of this mysteries of using a payment tablet. Secondly, they added a "NCA Fee" whatever that is. I assume a credit card fee. This is a cost of doing business, just like air conditioning and paying for a dishwasher, and I strongly discourage anyone from supporting a business who does this. I realize this is Naples, and most people don't care about being scammed out of a few dollars or tips being incorrectly calculated, but if you care about these things I would recommend you take your business elsewhere. read more

I used to go to Meridian Cafe ALL the time. I rarely go to EJ's because, while they have an extensive menu, the food is basic. My partner and I had breakfast there this morning and it will be my last visit to EJ's. In addition to waiting nearly 40 minutes for our food (there were approximately a total of a dozen people dining both indoors and outdoors), I had to ask for my orange juice a second time and they forgot my toast. While our server, Iris, offered us a free pastry and ultimately took 20% off our bill, my time is simply too valuable to wait as long as we did. read more
